In between action that wouldn't allow me to put the book down, was the heart of the book which was the relationship between a father and daughter. This book keeps you on the edge of your seat and keeps you guessing. Can't wait for the next one!

I really enjoyed reading this book! There were so many soft and beautiful dad moments. It made my heart hurt for Casey watching him do his best for his daughter while also navigating grief. The plot was interesting and really made me ponder the idea of how people can have equally terrible things happen to them and one can choose to turn that journey into something positive while someone else can choose a journey to a dark path. I found myself thinking about this throughout my day more than once.

I was rooting for Casey and Grace for the entirety of Powerful Choices. From watching them deal with trauma and also lean into each other through it, the messages are clear and meaningful. I’m left wondering what happens next. And I have my theories! I can’t wait to see if they’re correct! Definitely pick this book up!!

A thriller that's written in a way that its great for the whole family to read, but still keeps you on the edge of your seat-- with a great twist at the end!
