An okay book about photography, and it's various techniques. Honestly theres nothing much new here and more information on tutorials would have been appreciated. This book just gives a run down on what you can do, but doesn't go in depth into how to do it.

If you have any experience with photography don't waste your time with this book, it is utterly vague and basic. If you are a total beginner go play with your equipment and look at the work of professionals, you'll probably learn more this way and it will be more significant

Not a complete guide

The book talks about what to do and not how to do it. More emphasis should have been given on technicalities.

Good Book

I enjoyed reading this book and finished in an hour. There are many typos but the information was good. I recommend.

Great for beginners

I like this book so much I had to share it with my entire class which helped them allot, and what I made me like this book is that it motivated me to want to go out more and take pictures. Now there is its ups and downs right ! , the down part to me is that some of the chapters there where to the back of the book could of been to the middle of the book so I won't have to skip chapters to get to it then to go back to the chapters I have skipped. Other than that it was a good read.

Photography: Complete Guide to Taking Stunning,Beautiful Digital Pictures (Photography Tutorials Book 1) by Nicole Woods
What I like about this book is it explains in English the parts of the camera even showing pictures-as not all cameras are the same.
Lot of components of the camera are discussed and shown in examples with pictures.
So many interesting chapters of things you don't normally think of: getting permission to photograph people, printing photos, and editing them.
Bonus video on how to take pictures with your iphone is included.

Good beginners guide.

This is a good basic primer for those with no experience or training. Some advanced techniques are hinted at but not explained. More visual representations might have been more helpful.

Deceiving title

Based on the title I thought this book would be much more advanced. This book is better suited for someone who knows basically nothing about taking pictures. It's covers the most basic of basics and is relatively vague.

Excellent read. Useful for all levels of experience.

This book is very informative for the individual who is interested in delving deeper into the "art" of photography.
It's easy to learn how to activate the shutter, this book gets into why and when.
