Should I Mountain Men of Cinnamon Creek Book 2 A Grumpy Mountain Man Small Town Romance
There’s a reason my sister didn’t choose me to be her maid of honor. It’s no secret that I’m the one my family expects to screw up, well, everything. I’m too whimsical and unpredictable. And I’ve just set fire to the one accomplishment they were actually proud of. I’m relieved when my sister calls off her wedding and our bachelorette trip is rerouted from the beach to the mountains. It’s exactly the reset I need before I break the news to them. What I don’t expect is for this trip to set fire to my soul. Or for the retired smokejumper who mans the fire watch tower to set a fire … other places within me. I’ve never felt more alive—or more myself—than I do when I’m stranded with Dash in the middle of the mountains. But is it just another whimsical fantasy, or could it actually be something real? Either way, I doubt my heart is going to survive this weekend unscathed…
Yellow will become his new favorite color...Thanks for Miss Sunshine
Should I Fall is the second book in the Mountain Men of Cinnamon Creek series. Stormi Winters is Erin's sister, who is the bride that just called off her party as the ladies were leaving for the bachelorette party. Stormi is very different from her family in that they are all buttoned up and she is more free-flowing and artsy. She is sweet, sunshiny and ready to make a change in her life after quitting her paralegal job last week. Dash Sullivan was a smokejumper but now lives in a fire watch tower during the wildfire season with his very loyal dog Blaze. Once a week Dash runs a fire tower guided tour for the visitors to the lodge. Stormi wants to do something for the day and is drawn to the brochure for the fire watch tour tour. Winnie, the grandmotherly receptionist at the lodge, makes the arrangements for Stormi to be flown out to the tower for the day. But when a storm comes in quickly Dash and Miss Sunshine are about to be forced into one very small room which will test their resolve.
SHOULD I FALL is Book 2 of the Mountain Men of Cinnamon Creek series. It's a short and steamy, instalove, OTT, age-gap, opposites-attract, forced-proximity, grumpy-sunshine, curvy girl gets her mountain man romance. We continue with the Bachelorette group ladies finding love. Stormi is a sweet and curvy hippie ray of sunshine. She is the sister of the jilted bride, Erin. Dash is a hunky, grumpy, firefighter and former smokejumper who now mans the fire lookout tower seasonally. He is 15 years older than Stormi. When she books a tour of the watch tower, she is drawn to the reclusive grump. She is only supposed to be there a few hours but ends up stranded due to a storm. Dash wants her as much as she wants him, but is worried about the age difference and her leaving. Things end up getting hot and steamy, but will she stay? Their chemistry was pure fire and we got a great HEA once they got on the same page. Winnie does it again! I loved it and can't wait for Flynn's story next.
Some stories don’t just make you feel—they make you remember what it’s like to be lost, then found again. Should I Fall by Kali Hart is that kind of story—a heartfelt, healing, and gorgeously emotional romance that burns slow and steady before igniting into something unforgettable.
Stormi has always been the family’s “wild card”—the whimsical sister, the dreamer who never quite fits the mold. Her life has been a trail of almosts and what-ifs, and when she sets fire to her latest accomplishment up the corporate ladder she’s ready to hide out and lick her wounds. But fate—and a canceled bachelorette trip—has other plans.
Enter Dash, a brooding, guilt-ridden retired smokejumper living in quiet solitude atop a fire watch tower in the mountains. He’s carrying his own ghosts, and the last thing he expects is for a beautiful, impulsive woman like Stormi to crash into his world and start melting the ice around his heart.
What follows is a breathtaking story about forgiveness—of yourself, of the past, and of all the ways you’ve stumbled trying to find where you belong. Dash and Stormi’s connection feels both fated and fragile, the kind of love that’s born from shared scars and mutual surrender. The scenes between them are intimate in the truest sense—not just romantic, but raw, hopeful, and full of second chances.
By the end, I wasn’t just rooting for Stormi and Dash—I was proud of them. Proud of her for owning her “too muchness,” proud of him for finally forgiving himself, and deeply moved by how two broken people found a way to build something whole together.
⭐ 5 Stars — A tender, redemptive mountain romance that proves sometimes the most beautiful things are born from the ashes. If you love emotionally vulnerable heroes, quirky but strong heroines, forced proximity, and healing love stories that linger long after the last page, Should I Fall is one you’ll want to fall into—heart first.

Book two from this series focuses on another one of the ladies, this time it is the almost bride's sister. I believed in the spark between them and enjoyed seeing it grow and seeing them get to know each other. Their story made me want to hug them and shake them at times, it made me smile too and I just loved Blaze. I liked them together and even though they had only known each other a short time, I thought they had a chance, thank goodness they had people around the, who encouraged them, nudged them and supported them.

Carrying my Sunshine with me. Awesome. Stormi’s family all think that she’s flighty. Well, wait until they find out she quit her job. Her boss wanted her to cancel the her trip to work so HE could take a trip. Uh, NO! The trip was SUPPOSED to be a Bachelorette Weekend for her sister but, at airport she canceled the wedding. So, they headed to the mountains, minus one bridesmaid, lol. Dash lives the summer months in the Fire Tower to keep watch on the forest. Once a week he does a tour and that’s how he meets the ray of sunshine. He wants more than a fling and Stormi isn’t staying.

Stormi is Erin's sister and the black sheep of the family. One who always let's the family down. Now on the mountain she decides to go on the fire watch tower tour.
Once dropped off, she meets Dash. He ignites a fire in her she hasn't had in a long time. Older, muscled, tattooed she wants a chance. But Dash doesn't let anyone in, even if he wants to hold her and never let her go.
Stormi is determined to give them a chance. When she shows back up at the tower, will Dash let her in or turn her away?.

The bridal party had adjusted their plans when they found out the groom to be cheated. Storm felt horrible but her sister insisted she needed to find something to do and leave her to decompress. Little did Stormi know she would meet Dash. Dash who had spent the last six years isolated and not wanting contact. This adorable short story is sweet, steamy and will leave you smiling. This was a great read. I can’t wait for book 3.

Should I Fall is book two in the Mountain Men of Cinnamon Creek series and is a continuation of the wedding call off and the bachelorette party heading to Montana. In this book we get sister of the bride Stormi's story. She meets and falls for Dash, a retired smoke jumper who runs a watch tower. These two are complete opposites, but they are so perfect for each other in this grumpy/sunshine, age gap, mountain man romance. This is a great addition to the series, and I look forward to reading the rest of the series. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.
Free spirited Stormy, yes that's her name legally according to the book is on her way to take a tour at one of the towers that's how prevent forest fires. There's a cloud jumper there well he's former and he is going to take her on a tour. Things go sideways and straight at the same time. As you know sometimes you can't be straight for being crooked and this is one of those funny humorous lovable stories. Laughing, little suspense with the bear. Who knew? Loved it short read.

A true grumpy meets sunshine. Awe, Stormi really needed someone like Dash who could see the best in her, and in trade Dash finally found sunshine and joy in his life of solitude. It only takes days for them to find out they are better together than they could ever be apart but what an adventurous couple of days it is. "This is my honest review of an advanced reader copy, and I am leaving this review voluntarily."
These two characters brought this quick romance to life with their Fiery connection. Dash was a complete cinnamon roll hero with a bit of a torchered past, while Stormi, a free-spirit, continued to struggle finding her place in the world. Dash won my heart from the start, and continued to justify that as the story progressed. This was an engaging and riveting adventure for Dash and Stormi.

The author has given us an older man/younger woman story that pulls us into the lives of Stormi and Dash. The fast-paced story keeps us turning the pages with instant connection, denial, realizations and steam.

Another bridesmaid falls for a grumpy mountain man. Liked the immediate reaction to each other as they both felt intense attraction. Enjoyed how well they played off of one another, and the steam factor ranked high. So far Winnie is 2 for 2 in matches.

In this second book of the Mountain Men Cinnamon Creek series, the bridal party from the first book, ends up in a snowy mountain lodge instead of at the beach, as originally planned. The sister of the bride, Stormi, has always been the odd duck of her family. When the bride demands that all of her bridesmaids go out and do something fun, Stormi sets up a tour of the nearest fire watchtower. Tour guide and firefighter, Dash, lives in the watchtower during the season. It’s a lonely existence but his ghosts from the past like the isolation. When he lays eyes on sunshiny Stormi, he immediately sees that she’s going to be a danger to his self-exile. Stuck together in the small tower, due to a sudden, raging storm, his attraction to Stormi burns hotter than any fire Dash has ever battled. A steamy, opposites attract, insta- love novella, Should I Fall, is a sweet, romantic tale of a vulnerable ex hero who finds a reason to really live again.
