I was given the opportunity to ARC read this!! I am so happy!☺️

I received it on the morning of 8 October and finished it by 14:30 the same day, in one sitting!! 🫣

I could not put it down!! I had a fabulous time reading about Poppie and her... adventures.😏

But seriously, great plot, the smut was smutting, the love interests. I wanted to be Poppie so badly, I still do. I love the magic system and the way the world is described, I could see everything happening as I was reading. 🤩

Well done Jordan!! 👏
P.s. I don't want to be THAT person, but, where is book 2? I can't be left hanging like that!! 🤣

Also! Can I mention that while our FMC is absolutely gorgeous! She’s not your ‘standard beauty’ she’s tall! As in Taller then our 2 of our MMC’s and she does not apologise for it! Reign was my first Fantasy read in a little while, and it was a super refreshing read after getting in a few slumps with my last fantasy reads!

The world building is quick and precise, so you’re not stuck learning a bunch of stuff you’re most likely going to forget halfway through the book.

Wow if I could rate this romantasy 10 Stars  I would Jordan 😍 what an incredible read!!!

It all starts with Poppie living in a small village that has crazy weather with her sisters, when she is suddenly taken, waking up to find herself somewhere to a voice of someone familiar in a place with warm weather, and are those birds? No wait DRAGONS!

Now her mission is to escape the tyrant and make her way to wherever her sisters have ended up with her Mother she thought passed.

But HOLY, the twists and turns, the spicy why choose 🥵, magic MAGIC, and it has DRAGONS! Everything is better with DRAGONS, and the Brothers and their bestie certainly help 😉

I read this book in one sitting and absolutely couldn't put it down!! You need to read this yesterday 😊

The chemistry, mystery, and plot just keep on rolling through, with some twists that do keep you guessing just enough.
I love all our main protagonists: Poppie, Damian, Dominic, and Garrett.

My poor heart with every interaction between Poppie and Damian and their connection ❤️ Their ever shifting relationship and struggles, and showing how much care and love they have between each other in small ways.

The relationships that Poppie builds with Dominic and Garrett are a fun experience and never ceases to create all the entertainment.

I love that each character develops and holds their own, no one more than the next! 🥰

I was lucky enough to be an ARC reader for this amazing book! It took me a little while to get into it at first, as I usually prefer first-person stories with multiple points of view, but once I settled into the writing style, I was completely hooked — I couldn’t put it down.

The storyline is fantastic, packed with plenty of detail and well-paced reveals that kept me turning the pages. The plot twists were brilliant, and I loved how the story continued to grow and evolve throughout the book.

Each character has real depth and their own distinct personality, making it easy to connect with them and keep track of who’s who.

And that ending — what a cliffhanger! Now I’m eagerly waiting for the next instalment to see what happens next.

This book is Why Choose and ends on a cliffhanger; it takes the reader on the adventure of a lifetime, and the spice will make a grown woman blush.


Poppie thought she was human until she was knocked out and woke up in a realm with dragons. The biggest shock is that Damien, a former love, is the Emperor's son, and he has magic. Dominic (Damien's brother) and Garrett abducted her on the orders of the evil Emperor Tynon, who steals from the poor, including their magic.
Poppie soon finds herself drawn to the 3 men who do their best to train her magic and keep her out of Tynon's claws.

Holy crap! JORDAN!! Firstly. This Romantasy was AMAZING! And DRAGONS!! Man I love me some dragons. I cannot express enough how happy I was to be selected for this ARC!

The twists, the turns, the chemistry, WHY CHOOSE, DRAGONS, and magic, honestly I could not put this book down from the moment I started! (The spice was also spicing incase yall needed to know. Oh my goodness)

I love seeing the individual relationships, the character growth, the world building, and how the magic worked and I mean who doesn’t love a strong and sassy fmc!

BUT WHY DID YOU HAVE TO HURT MY FEELINGS LIKE THAT AND END OFF ON THE CLIFFHANGER 😭😭 I cannot wait for the second book!

a nice spicy, dragon fantasy book!

This is a well written book by an indi author.

We follow a strong and focused FMC that is discovering things about herself alongside 3 MMCs that are helping in different ways, with their own goals.

Poppie (FMC) is hellbent on getting her outcome with or without the boys.

this book will make you giggle, blush, and gasp all throughout. it is action-packed, with plenty of spice and DRAGONS! this ends on a cliffhanger with a hell of a plot twist at the end. excited to see where the next book takes us.

Jordan said she wanted to write a book that was known for its smut. I couldn’t read this on the train🤣🔥

Why pick one MMC when you can try them all right? Have your cake and eat it too? These men were all down bad for our FMC and made sure she knew it🌶️

I loved the grumpy dragon banter - very reminiscent of Fourth Wing - and can’t wait to see that expanded on in the next book.

There were a few things I felt needed further explanation or justification, as sometimes characters motivations for certain things felt a little shallow, but overall it was a really well written story for such a new author, and I will definitely be picking up the next installment of the series.

Where do I start, wow what a great read.

The story had me intrigued and definitely a page turner. I loved Poppie and how strong she was and the love she has for her sisters. Then comes Dominic, Damian and Garrett who have a lot of secrets and the spice was so good. This book pulled me in and it was so easy to read. The ending was what the hell, I did not see that coming. Thank you for letting me be an ARC reader. You never disappoint with your books. I definitely need the second book.

This is one of the most exciting, slow burn dragon fantasy books I have read. I cannot wait for book two to come out so I can continue this journey. The spicy scenes are damn hot. I will never look at a shower the same way.

I am needing more of this in my life!

Three men to protect her, from one tyrant trying to kill her, and one feisty independent woman being herself. It spells trouble, raging hormones and an insatiable need to find and release power.

Poppie’s discoveries are dirty, dangerous and wet.

Reign was exceptionally well written, with a captivating storyline that kept me hooked. As a why-choose romance, it’s clearly the beginning of a larger series, setting the stage beautifully for what’s to come. The most frustrating—yet thrilling—aspect was the extreme slow burn; every time it seemed the female lead might finally connect with one of the male leads, the moment slipped away. The unresolved conflicts and lingering tension at the end left me both satisfied and eager for the next installment. I am extremely grateful to be able to be an ARC reader for this book.

I was given the honour to read Reign and all I can say is wow!! This book had me hooked and I just did not want to put it down. I really enjoyed the Banter between all the characters and spice was spicing.

I laughed along with the characters, I was baffled by some choice we made and I wanted to throw my kindle at a wall 😅 I love a book that can take me on a roller-coaster and into another world and this did that!

I have been lucky enough to ARC read this book.
That said I didn't really know what to expect, fantasy books are wild.
Reign took me through a roller coaster of emotions, I devoured the book in less than 48h.
The spice is certainly spicy! There is a lot of unexpected depth in certain characters.
I genuinely cannot wait for the next book!

I have to say, there is nothing I love more than an FMC whose strong in them selves, personality and has some kick a** strength and attitude to match. I loved the FMC Poppie - she was firm, direct and sassy. This book has a bit of everything - the sass was sassing, spice was spicy and the banter between each character was entertaining.
