PR: Skylar and Elijah have a very cute relationship. There are moments when reading Skylar parts that make me sad. But Elijah is there to show her how a real man should treat a woman. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ out of 5 stars!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/🌶️🌶️.5
Oh this was good! Elijah and Skylar are two rivals from competing companies! They’re both working to obtain a real estate deal and they travel to a rather isolated cabin to meet their potential client and end up snowed in due to an avalanche.
Tensions are high, the hatred between the two evident but being stuck together for so long lines start to blur and their rivalry starts to become something else entirely!
Such a good book. The banter, the spice and the connection between the two was amazing!! I think we all need an Elijah in our lives 🤭
Huge thank you to torchlitink and Celine Madsen for the gifted eARC to read and review!
Snowbound Hearts follows the lives of Elijah and Skylar, two rivals who work for enemy companies that both find themselves trapped at a potential client’s real estate when an avalanche buries them in.
I love a good forced proximity trope and this one did its justice! Without any chance of getting out, Skylar and Elijah learn to live alongside one another until they can escape their avalanche prison. The banter was great and I liked seeing how they both couldn’t stand each other yet still did small meaningful things to take care of one another. The whole truth or dare concept to learn more about one another was nice to read as you got a glimpse into the lives each character lived which made them so much more relatable as time went on. Their backstories were able to pull the emotional connection that I was looking for. When we got to the “f*ck it” moment, the spice was definitely spicing and I loved seeing how Skylar and Elijah’s hearts slowly melted and allowed each other in.
Thanks you to Celine Madsen and Torch Lit Ink for allowing me to ARC review this book
A story that had me feeling so sad at times but then so happy.
A really nice progression of the relationship between Skylar and Elijah and lovely the friendships with Sam and Mira. Hated Mitch and her dad- very well written but heartbreaking
A real gutwrent to read at points but well written surrounding the topic of domestic violence

✅Thank you so much author Celine Madsen and @torchlitink for the opportunity to read Snowbound Hearts for my honest review. All opinions expressed are my own.
My thoughts: This was a fun, cozy forced proximity story. Snowed in…. Work rivals…. What can possibly go wrong? I loved the tension and banter between the main characters, Skylar and Elijah…..the spice level(when it finally came about) was quite hot Definitely a fun story to relax with.
Key parts that stood out: • Playlist 🎶 • Character descriptions ☺️ (never seen this before!!) • Text messages • Secondary characters storyline (Mira / Sam)
Skylar has a background of parental pressure, stress and unachievable standards, when coming out of a relationship with her abusive ex, she grows and learns that she can be in a healthy loving relationship 🥰 along the way she struggles with self doubt thinking she cannot be loved, luckily Elijah is there to reassure her and be there for her.
I really loved that we got to see the FMC background story and the reasons to why she is acting the way she is, at first she seems standoffish when it comes to feelings, and i think the way her past is described shows this perfectly. Elijah is a perfect match for her! He is sweet, considerate, isn’t afraid to jump in to defend his girl — which we LOVE! 😌
From her being sweet, bright and caring, But on the Inside she can be stressed and overwhelmed. Contrasting to his dark features and his cool / charming exterior, the opposite attributes match PERFECTLY for a “opposites attract” Trope!
There was a few spicey scenes, with detail so definitely a good one for the spice romance lovers ❤️🔥 not massively descriptive so definitely not in a dark romance style but great balance and ratio with spice-romance 🤭

The ending — when he stood up for her to mitch and her dad, okay i LOVEEE. Such a sweet ending! And then the epilogue 🥹🥹 loved to see the happy ending. I seriously went through all the emotions, from actually being angry and wanting to have a full rant about mitch and her dad (how Skylar’s Dad just dismissed what he did to her and all he cared about was success.. like um what?) just to instantly be smiling at the cute moments with Elijah and Skylar 🥲🤩
I would lovee to see more about Mira / Sam in the future if there happens to be a second to become a series or duo, or even an interlinked book! 📖
Overall — amazing read!! — congratulations to Celine for her book and i will hopefully read more in the future by her.

I love a good forced proximity and this book delivered exactly that! I couldn’t imagine being stuck in that kind of situation, but they made the most of it and I was hooked.
The slow build-up had me dying in the best way. The tension was so thick, I could practically feel it through the pages, and when things finally heated up? Girl, the spice was hot. 🔥
Also… I think I just discovered a new micro trope I’m obsessed with hearing him in the room alone, saying her name?! AHHH 🥵 I was feral.
Such a fun, steamy read that had me grinning, blushing, and fanning myself all at once. Perfect for anyone who loves snowed-in tension and that delicious “we shouldn’t, but we can’t help it” energy.

Skylar doesn't trust men. Her ex is a woman hitting d*ckhead and her Dad shouldn't have had kids. When she gets snowed in with the owner of their rival firm she has an impression of what he is like and it takes a long time before she realises that he is the opposite.
The spice is spicing and Elliot has #bookboyfriend energy.
