Absolutely brilliant. GET IT!
With shame on my face I admit that I am not writing enough reviews. The authors have bent over backwards to give us hours of great reading and I let them down by not doing a reviews.
Folks.... get these 2 books, and you will be in for hours of enjoyment, this story will make you reluctant to put this down.
After you have finished you will agree with me and wish for more.

Fun! Ivan returns!
Sgt slaughter! This was another fun book with good characters. I do wonder what demon had their hooks in him but it is kind of amazing that he can get covered in so much affected blood and not get affected. Still enjoyable though!

Great Read
This series is a good parallel to the original J.F. Holmes Irregular Scouts series. Not as deep in character development, but still good.

⭐ 4 Stars | Esprit De Corpse: Semper Die Volume Two
After sitting with this book for a while, I decided to bump my rating up to 4 stars. My initial 3.75-star rating had more to do with me adjusting to a different writing style after finishing another book than with this story itself.
Looking back, this was a fun, fast-paced, and thoroughly entertaining read.
If you're looking for a quick zombie romp filled with blood, bitey bitters, and plenty of undead slaying, this one absolutely delivers. Throw in a lieutenant who goes traitor, and you've got a recipe for a really enjoyable ride.
This is definitely a book I'll revisit someday.
One thing I especially appreciated was the author's tribute at the end to J.F. Holmes, the creator of the Irregular Scout Team universe that this story takes place in. It was a thoughtful touch that made me appreciate the book even more.
