Claimed by the Underboss: Mpreg Dark Omegaverse Mafia MM Romance

Rate this book
He saw me. He smelled me. He owned me.

I thought I was going to expose the Salvatore crime family. Instead, I watched the underboss pull the trigger... and then turn his gun on me.

Matteo Salvatore is every inch the ruthless alpha I feared—and the one my omega body craves. I'm not supposed to feel anything when he pins me with those cold black eyes. Not lust. Not heat. And definitely not this aching pull low in my belly.

But biology doesn't care about my career or my morals. It cares that he’s an alpha. And I’m not just any omega— I’m his.

Now I’m locked in his Manhattan penthouse, fighting the bond, the heat, and the way he watches me like he already knows. Like he already owns.

He should have killed me. Instead, he claimed me.

Claimed by the Underboss is a high-heat, knotty, dark Omegaverse mafia romance with fated mates, possessive alpha energy, and a journalist who refuses to go down without a fight. No cheating. No cliffhanger. Just one very hot and very dangerous underboss who’s about to meet his match.

This was alright. Most of the story took place inside the apartment. Both of the characters were decent but nothing stood out too much. There was definitely a lot of inconsistencies. Things that didn’t make sense. People finding out things, making me wonder how in the hell anyone could find that out. Luca says at the beginning he heard of Matteo but didn’t know what he looked like because there’s no pictures of him but the minute Lucas sister sees Matteo she’s like omg your Matteo Salvatore. Like umm how did you know when there’s no pictures of him? Also, I thought it was really weird they decided to name their son after the man Matteo killed. “Let’s name our son Marco, after the man you killed in cold blood and brought us together!” 🥴 yeah no.

Too Many Mistakes.

I have read this ebook via Kindle Unlimited and this is my honest opinion:
After reading the blurb, I looked forward to reading the story.
Sadly, that's the most positive thing I can say.
Matteo - Alpha - Mafia
Lucas - Omega - journalist
Lucas hides in the dark, using his phone to video a particularly horrific event at the docks.
Obviously, unaware that his phone must be lighting up where he's hiding, Matteo spots him.
Matteo takes Lucas back to his penthouse and pushes Lucas in the guest bedroom Lucas hears the henchmen lock the door and walk away. Lucas then goes and tries to open the door, stating it's locked,
The fear and being the near the Alpha triggers Lucas's heat.
Matteo goes into rut and bonds with Lucas and gets him pregnant.
In chapter 7, Lucas tells Matteo (and I quote) "...Chapter 5 we had sex outside of heat, it was what I wanted, it was my choice"!
Wow, so the characters are breaking the fourth wall.
This was so hysterically funny that I had to re-read it several times just to understand it.
I did find it funny that Matteo bonded with Lucas but Lucas never bonds with Matteo.
Also, if Matteo is the underboss then how could he get away with not seeing his dad for over six months?
Overall, I felt this ebook is cringe, the plotlines were poorly thought through which reflected badly on the full story.
Although this author is well liked, I will certainly be steering clear of this author and their ebooks.

Awesome story

I love this book!!!! I love the storyline - usually the couple meet & fall in live ten follows the babies - I think this storyline is more like real life or as real life for someone with mob connections!!! But this time you get hate lost of hate before they learn it's really love!!!!
Thank you very much for this beautiful story - Lori

ok story but poor editing

Poor editing ruins this read. It could have been better, with better editing and longer to go from “captive” to “in love.”
