Enter a world of division, mystery, and redemption in The World Fixers trilogy. Follow Andrew and Heidi—two sworn enemies from rival nations—as they are thrust together on a journey that could change everything they’ve ever known. In the fractured land of Cora, the Redbloods and Bluebloods have despised each other for a thousand years, though no one remembers why. When Andrew’s father vanishes after discovering an ancient book and mysterious map, Andrew sets out in search of him. But the path forward leads straight into enemy territory—and into the life of Heidi, a Redblood princess carrying secrets of her own. As the two travel across acid seas, absurd islands, and lands cursed by an ancient darkness, they uncover a far greater threat than either nation imagined. A powerful force known only as the Night Wizard has poisoned the world, and if Andrew and Heidi cannot learn to trust one another, everything they know will be lost forever. In this fast-paced and meaningful allegory, The World Fixers trilogy explores the cost of fear, the pain of division, and the courage it takes to see past surface differences and into the truth. Through unexpected friendship, brave choices, and a touch of humor, readers are invited to examine the brokenness in our own world—and discover what it truly takes to fix it. Recommended for ages 8 and up, this trilogy offers a rich, heart-stirring adventure for the whole family—filled with action, laughter, and lasting spiritual insight.
Ted Dekker is known for novels that combine adrenaline-laced stories with unexpected plot twists, unforgettable characters, and incredible confrontations between good and evil. Ted lives in Austin with his wife LeeAnn and their four children.
This was really nice! Honestly, I think Ted Dekker writes really good kids series (series? serieses? who knows). I really liked it, even if it was a little similar to some of the other serieses by him. I got to say, the Order of the Holy was pretty... troubling. (But then, I mean, gigantic centipedes were, too... but in a different way.) So, yeah, I liked it. :)
I don't know about this one I mean I give a 5 stars cuz the message and the characters were great. But the plot, I'm just not sure. It was kind of all over the place might be. My least favorite children's series by the deckers. But still a wild ride. And the narrator did a good job 😝
This is volume one of the trilogy. Its subtitle is the Blue Boy and the Red Princess. I believe that the children who read this are going to really enjoy the story.
