This book is the perfect blend of the enemies-to-lovers trope and the emotional aspect. Vikram, the disciplined billionaire who keeps hiding behind his fortress of pride, and Mahika, the temperamental liberated spirit who does not submit to anyone, are the two characters who in a way have to marry each other. Nothing goes as planned initially, but soon they are fighting for each other's hearts. I guess it is the most time that their words are not spoken but the glances, the touches, the innuendos each caught moment is filled with a desire to which none of them gives voice.
Their relation is just awesome. Their quick and witty conversation is great, their disputes are real, and their slow change from hating each other to trusting each other is so sweet that you can’t stop them. Along with the love story, the novel also deals with the themes of family expectations, self-discovery, and a little bit of danger that keeps the suspense till the very last point.
It is a quick, gripping tale of love, agony, and power struggles - and the gradual dismantling of Vikram and Mahika's facades against each other is what makes it every page. If you like marriage-of-convenience stories with fiery banter and genuine moments, then this book is definitely for you.
Ever since I finished Entangled Kismet, I’ve been waiting MONTHS for this book. And now that I’ve finally read it, I’m obsessed all over again. The story delivered exactly what I was hoping for.
Being forced into a marriage with your childhood nemesis sounds like a nightmare—and for Mahika and Vikram, it is. She’s sarcastic, fiery, and impossible to ignore; he’s quiet, composed, and infuriatingly controlled. Their one-year contract starts like a business deal, but living together blurs the lines. Fights become teasing, silences become meaningful, and what was supposed to be temporary begins to feel dangerously permanent.
Their relationship feels completely real. Mahika and Vikram don’t fall in love in a single moment—they argue, tease, push each other’s buttons, and still manage to keep things entertaining. In the little moments where their walls slip, you can feel the connection growing—through nicknames, banter, jealousy, and quiet protectiveness. Vikram might seem cold and controlled on the outside, but his care for Mahika is impossible to ignore, and she matches him perfectly with her independence and fiery spirit
The side characters really bring the story to life—siblings, best friends, and even the little pet add humor, warmth, and a fun kind of chaos that makes the world feel bigger and more real. Just when you think you’ve settled into the romance, a sudden twist of danger keeps everything exciting and shows how far Mahika and Vikram will go to protect each other. The epilogue is just perfect, everything comes together and leaves you smiling long after the last page.
The story flows really well, making it hard to put the book down. There’s a perfect mix of cute, steamy & emotional moments, all written naturally without feeling stretched out. I ended up finishing it much faster than I thought because I just had to know how Mahika and Vikram’s story would turn out.
If you love romance with sizzling chemistry, witty banter, and a touch of drama, Entangled Vows is a must-read.
Well, I've a lot to say about this book but lemme start with this- ONE OF MY BEST READS OF THE YEAR💯 I love it when a author delivers what they promise to us readers before the release of the book & she kept her word! In love with "Entangled Vows".
CHARACTERS- The MMC is a perfect man. A man who has loved only one girl since his childhood. A man who's responsible. A man who doesn't back off when things get hard. A man who loves his loved one's & protects them like a shield. His name is Vikram Khurana. He's a man of our dreams, girls. He calls her Momo & Baby Dragon. He loves her like breathing🤌🏻
The FMC is an ambitious woman, strong, fierce, loyal, responsible, hardworking & an author. She is fire. I loved her character especially when she spits fire. (So me #relatable🤭). She knows how to fight & protect her loved one's. Tough from the outside but a softie from the inside. Her name is Mahika Jaykar. She calls him Grizzly. She fell for him but only harder this time✨
I loved the sideline characters like Mohit, Ishika & my favourite Bungee (rabbit). His invasion in Vikram's home, the way Vikram calls him Vampire Rabbit, Damn it was so hilarious😂 As for Ishi & Mohit, I loved their banter. I love how supportive they were & the way Ishi kept teasing Mahika all the time was one of the best parts. The fact that "The Locked Series" characters were also included was cherry on top✨
STORYLINE- Perfectly written. Marriage of convenience. They were forced to marry each other but then fell in love with each other. Their banter was amazing, chemistry was electrifying, their cute moments were adorable, their love making sessions were so hot. The climax gave me chills. I liked that it wasn't extended to the part where it becomes boring. The author knows where to stop & keep things interesting that's the best part. Some of my favourite scenes- Smoothie, Unicorn Wardrobe, Lilac Suit, confessions ofcourse🔥
Honestly, I can rant for hours about this book & will definitely do in my review reel because I loved it! It healed me, made me believe in love again, the tropes were amazing & gave me hope. A book should touch a reader's heart & this one did. Feels like, I'm gonna re-read this book whenever I want to read a good book. While reading this, Humsafar song kept playing in my mind the entire time. I'm gonna buy it's paperback cz this definitely deserves a place in my bookshelf! You made my october, Era di❤️
Entangled Vows is one of those books that completely sweeps you off your feet and refuses to let go. From the very first chapter, I was hooked. Era Mable has taken a familiar romance trope — marriage of convenience — and turned it into something beautifully emotional, funny, and unforgettable. The story revolves around Mahika Jaykar, a fiery, ambitious, and kind-hearted woman, and Vikram Khurana, the brooding, emotionally guarded heir to a business empire. When an unexpected clause in their fathers’ wills forces them into a one-year marriage, both see it as nothing more than a duty. But as sparks fly and walls break, what starts as an obligation turns into a journey of love, healing, and rediscovery. Mahika is such a refreshing heroine — strong yet vulnerable, witty yet deeply compassionate. Vikram, on the other hand, is the perfect mix of charm, intensity, and hidden warmth. Their chemistry is off the charts, and their constant banter had me smiling, laughing, and occasionally kicking my feet in excitement. The way he calls her Momo and she fires back with Grizzly adds such a playful spark to their relationship. I also loved how the book balances romance with themes of family, friendship, and forgiveness. The side characters — Mohit, Arjun, Ishika, Suraj, and little Kiara — add humor, heart, and emotional grounding to the story. Their friendships and sibling bonds feel so real and bring a perfect balance to the tension between the main leads. Era Mable’s writing style is simple yet powerful. Her short, crisp sentences make the scenes feel vivid and alive. She captures emotions beautifully — from the electric chemistry to the tender, quieter moments that reveal how love can grow even in the most unexpected situations. This book isn’t just about romance; it’s about learning that love isn’t perfect — it’s messy, passionate, and full of second chances. Both Mahika and Vikram make mistakes, but watching them grow together and choose each other despite everything is what makes this story truly special. Entangled Vows made me laugh, swoon, and even tear up at times. It’s the perfect blend of slow-burn tension, heartfelt emotion, and sparkling humor. If you love enemies-to-lovers, forced marriage, witty banter, and deep emotional connection, this book is for you. Era Mable has created magic with Entangled Vows — a warm, addictive, and emotionally rich romance that stays with you long after the last page. A total 5-star read for me! 💖
I finished reading Entangled Vows by Era Mable, and honestly, I’m speechless. I read Entangled Kismet first, and ever since then, I was dying to know what was behind the facade of Vikram Khurana. And oh my God—this man. Isn’t he the real man? The definition of one?
Vikram is arrogant. He’s an absolute jerk in Mahika’s eyes. But at the same time—he’s the greenest flag walking on earth. He’s soft, kind, protective, possessive, and completely obsessed with his marriage-of-convenience wife.
Mahika never thought she’d end up married to the man she claimed to hate, and Vikram never imagined he’d be tied to the one woman he spent years avoiding. Yet destiny—along with a twist of their fathers’ plans—had its own way of binding them together. What started as a forced marriage turned into something that was clearly meant to be from the beginning.
Their story unfolds slowly but beautifully. With every shared moment, every glance, their chemistry becomes impossible to ignore. Everyone around them can see it—except for them. The tension, the spark, the electric pull between them literally radiates through the pages. I felt it in my veins. And the banter! The sass, the comebacks, the arguments—they had me obsessively flipping pages like a lovesick fool.
One of my favorite things was Mahika finding genuine friendship among Vikram’s friends. That warmth, that sense of belonging—it was beautiful, and I’ve loved this friend group since the first book. They make me believe in friendship all over again.
Now, what slightly irked me was Vikram’s controlling side—but weirdly, it also made sense. He’s detached from almost everyone in his life except his close circle, and his love for Mahika comes out raw, unfiltered, sometimes possessive—but always real.
And the spice? Let’s just say, I could taste it. It was that hot. 🔥
But my most favorite part—the one that made my heart stop—was Vikram’s confession. My God. It wasn’t grand or showy, no fancy proposals or over-the-top drama. It was pure. Honest. Straight from the heart. The kind of confession that makes you feel every word in your bones. If that’s what love looks like, I’ll pray for a confession like that once in my lifetime.
Vikram khurana—an arrogant asshole with a heart that bleeds only for one woman. And Mahika—his perfect match in fire and soul. Era Mable truly gave us a masterpiece with this one
When the two flames meet, neither gets dim in the presence of other; instead they get entangled, merging to form a bigger combustion. That's how the story of Mahika and vikram unfolds in entangled vows.
We meet Mahika Jaykar, Girl next door with a love for writing romance, Momos and her pet Rabbit bungee. She's not your weak fragile fmc, she comes with a fiery attitude and sassy sharp tongue that's enough to make men run sideways. Then comes Vikram Khurana, The hot- broody-husband material Alpha- male with a taste for fitness and finesse; Grisly as Mahika calls him. Both cannot help but bite the other when in vicinity of the other Yet ends up binding in a marriage due to a clause in the Will of their dead fathers. If they don't, they suffer the consequences and lose the Empire that their fathers builded together. They agree on a 1 year temporary marriage of farce just to fulfill that clause.
Old flames die hard ; especially when your first love becomes your temporary spouse. Will mahika and Vikram burn each other out... Or end up forging something far more deeper and substantial which was definitely not in their plans?
I cannot stop fangirling!! This book was one of my most anticipated releases and it did NOT disappoint. It exceeded my expectations in contrast. The plot, the characters, the BANTER. Gosh don't ask, the banter is literally to die for on top of that Sizzling- CHEMISTRY. I swear I was literally grinning ear to ear while reading them. Then comes the plot twist. I did NOT see that coming 🙂👏too good.
There are other characters that add more to the story - Ishika and mohit,Suraj that brings friendship and fun commentary- giving it a lighter tone. Brothers relationship and it's complexities were portrait well as well as internal conflict of heart and feelings.
Overall it contains everything that a romance reader dreams - cut throat chemistry, lovable characters, messy feelings, friendships, healing from family issues, major plot twist and a love story that will stay with you even after you are long done reading it.
I don't have words. Mic drop. Just go for it. Blindly go for it because it doesn't even need second guessing. GO. it's WORTH your feelings and time.
A fan since her debut, I so wait for Era’s magical, dreamy stories filled with sassy, fiery FL, irresistible, sexy heroes, friendships and brotherhood that make you go aww, and spice that makes your dil go dhak dhak. And this gem… it has it all n more.
Vikram & Mahika, childhood frenemies, are forced to get married thanks to a certain clause in both their dad’s wills. Stay married for a year or lose their inheritance. Neither of them is ready to give up their legacy, so they’re tied in a marriage they didn’t bargain for. What follows is a hot, hilarious n dangerous ride of banters, paybacks, possessiveness & mystery.
Vikram is all that I love in a ML. Out-and-out alpha, he’s a juicy mix of arrogance, hotness, broodiness, with a possessive streak a mile long. Addicted to his green smoothie, he’s complex, layered, and has hidden issues, but that just adds to his persona, someone you can’t help but get the hots for 😉. He’s secretly loved Mahi since childhood, and now that she’s his wifey, their married-life shenanigans begin, which are so adorable n steamy. They bicker like toddlers, engage in name-calling (Grizzly and Momo), n their push-and-pull is next level. Then old feelings resurface, there’s swoon-worthy wooing, and Vikram’s full-on herogiri as he protects Mahi from imminent threats, complete with 👊👊.
Mahika is all saas and fire, with a mischievous side to her. Craving the freedom she’s been denied since long, this wedding is her only chance to break free and start on her own. She hates Vikram, her childhood crush, ever since he unknowingly broke her heart on her 18th bday. Determined to stay immune to him, she troubles him aplenty (Her pranks 😱 She’s a 😈), but slowly, one bed plays cupid, the lines blur, and she falls for her impossible husband.
There is a thriller angle too, but no spoilers 🤐.
There’re lots of adorable people that makes this story shine. The mood spoiler 🐰, Bungee, Mohit Mahi’s brother, Ishika Mahi’s bestie, and the best of all, the entire Oberoi clan plus Arjun and Ira. They’re like sprinkles on your fav ice cream, cherry on top.
If alpha heroes, sizzling chemistry, and romantic thrillers are your jam, go read this.
“Entangled Vows” really touched my heart. I liked how it showed love, pain, and healing in such a real way. It’s not just about romance, it’s about two people learning to understand each other again after years of distance and misunderstandings. Vikram and Mahika are complete opposites who are forced to get married because of a will, and at first, they can’t stand each other. But as the story moves forward, you can see how slowly their feelings start to change.
Vikram is a man who hides his emotions behind a serious face. He looks cold, but deep down, he’s full of love and care. He has loved Mahika since childhood but never got a chance to show it. You can see his growth in how he learns to open up, let go of control, and express what he feels. I really liked how his love wasn’t loud but steady and protective.
Mahika, on the other hand, is fierce, independent, and full of life. She’s a writer who has built her own world with hard work. At the start, she keeps a wall around herself and tries not to let Vikram in because of her past hurt. But slowly, she begins to see the man he really is. I loved watching how she went from hating him to trusting him again. Her change felt real and emotional.
Their journey together is full of tension, fights, and moments that melt your heart. They argue, tease, and push each other’s buttons, but underneath all that, there’s deep love. Their bond grows naturally, and that’s what makes it special. Every time they’re together, you can feel the pull between them.
The writing kept me hooked from start to finish. It never felt slow or overdone. The emotions were clear and easy to connect with. Some scenes made me smile, some made me emotional, and some just stayed in my mind for long. It’s one of those stories that makes you believe in second chances and love that heals.
Tropes: • Marriage of convenience • Enemies to lovers • Childhood love • Forced marriage • Protective hero • Strong heroine • Healing and second chances
This book throws two people who can't stand each other into a marriage neither one wants. Vikram is a billionaire who believes feelings are a weakness. Mahika is a woman building her own life and has no time for his arrogance. Thanks to a strange condition in a will, they're forced to get married. It's less of a romance and more of a battlefield from day one.
The best part of this story is the electric tension between them. Every conversation is a fight, and every look is a challenge. You can feel the hate simmering, but underneath it, there's a powerful attraction they both try to ignore. Watching their relationship shift from pure loathing to something much more complicated is completely engaging. You keep waiting for one of them to finally break.
Just as they start to figure things out, the story throws in real danger. It turns out their business deal has made Mahika a target. The book suddenly becomes more than just a romance; it's a fight for their safety. This twist makes their journey together even more urgent and high-stakes.
The characters are what make it all work. Vikram isn't just a cold businessman; you see the cracks in his armor as he starts to care. Mahika is strong and won't back down, which makes her a perfect match for him. Their growth from enemies to partners feels earned.
If you're looking for a story with intense chemistry, constant bickering that turns into passion, and a bit of danger mixed in, this is a great pick. It’s a fast, fun, and addictive read that keeps you hooked until the very last page, wondering if these two will ever let their guards down long enough to find something real.
I don’t even know where to begin because Entangled Vows had me smiling, swooning, and occasionally wanting to shake both Mahika and Vikram for being such stubborn idiots in love. 😅
Vikram Khurana is your classic brooding billionaire: calm, composed, and frustratingly controlled. Mahika Jaykar is fire wrapped in sass, a woman who knows exactly what she wants… until fate (and a very dramatic will clause!) forces her to marry the man she swore to avoid. What follows is pure chaos, full of banter, ego clashes, and an undeniable tension that practically jumps off the page.
Their dynamic reminded me why I love enemies-to-lovers and forced marriage romances so much. Every argument between them felt charged, every accidental touch electric. The little nicknames, "Grizzly and Momo", added the perfect touch of humour to balance all that heat and intensity. And when those walls finally start to crumble? Let’s just say Vikram’s quiet, protective love made me melt completely.
Era's writing is warm and cinematic! You can almost see the misty hills of Dehradun, feel the undercurrent of desire, and hear their quick, sarcastic exchanges echo through the Khurana mansion. The story also brings in a touch of suspense and family drama, which kept things exciting till the very end.
If you love stories where enemies are forced to share a roof, sparks fly, and the line between hate and love blurs spectacularly, Entangled Vows is your next must-read. It’s emotional, funny, passionate, and absolutely addictive.
I recently finished Entangled Vows by Era, and I must say this book has become one of my favourite reads this year. I was hooked right after reading the dedication. This book made me smile, swoon, and kick my feet here and there. The enemies-to-lovers and marriage of convenience tropes were done so well in this story.
The story follows Mahika, a strong, independent, and hardworking girl. I loved her a lot — she never backed away from problems and cared deeply for her family. And then there’s Vikram, a brooding, charming billionaire — calm, composed, and convinced that feelings are a weakness. Vikram is the kind of male lead everyone wants.
Mahika hates him, but fate had other plans. Because of a clause in her father’s will, they’re tied into a marriage — either they get married or lose their legacy. So, they decide to marry for one year, with no strings attached, and then go their separate ways. To know what happens in their marriage, you’ll have to read the book!
I loved their banter so much. I also loved how Mohit (her brother) always looked out for her, and the friendship between Vikram, Arjun, Adil, and Ishika — everyone needs friends like them. The town details made it feel cozy and real.
Overall, this book has the perfect mix of romance, spice, tension, and banter. The writing style was captivating and easy to fall into.
He calls her Momo, and she calls him Grizzly!
If you love enemies-to-lovers and marriage of convenience stories, this book is perfect for you.
Entangled Vows is a fantastic creative masterpiece where the unique writing style stands out as the short, crisp sentences make the storytelling a great hit making you lucidly grasp the vibe of the scenes and the depth of emotional intensity of the characters. The dialogues are superb creative pennings where the elements of humour and drama are packed in a power punch making it an enjoyable read.
Mahika Jaykar intrigues you with her bold, outspoken attitude along with her compassionate side aspiring for great ambitions. Vikram Khurana stands as the uber cool hero who sticks to do somehow what he wants but his ways of going to extreme lengths for protecting his loved ones are deeply touching.
The Oberoi brothers, Arjun, Ishika, Suraj are super fun characters as friends who goes out all out with teasings but their ways of showing up during troubled times is pure friendship goal. Mohit's role as the elder brother is deeply heartwarming with some humorous twists too.
The book beautifully portrays how flaws and mistakes can be adjusted with love and understanding and this is one of the greatest appeal of the book. Lastly, you can't miss Kiara's cuteness and observations which are totally hilarious
Propaganda i always fall for (and probably will for the rest of my life) : enemies to lovers
I'm always in search of a good Enemies to Lovers, and i think we've found one of our top 5!!!!
Reading Vikram and Mahika was such a rollercoaster, so many emotions written so beautifully, I could actually feel them deep. I love the way how their resentment towards each other slowly turns into finding comfort in each other, the slow-burn is wonderfully written. I love their banter, the way he remembers her coffee preference, the way they both stand up for each other.
The growth of both the characters (personal as well as towards each other) along with the family drama, misunderstandings, fears, insecurities, it's all so so beautifully brought to words, I'm left in awe.
Vikram and Mahika's reconciliation in the end is soft, emotional and deeply satisfying like two souls finding warmth after years of surviving cold.
So if you guys are into a slow-burn, full of angst, Enemies to Lovers, filled with a full blown family drama including will reading and contract marriage, you should definitely definitely give this one a try!!!
OMG! I absolutely loved this book ❤️I was literally so hooked just after the reading the dedication itself, it was so good. The chemistry and the tension between the couple was absolutely mind-blowing, and their banters were so hott🔥
Mahika is a fierce, strong and independent woman I loved her character. I genuinely felt so bad for her at the beginning of the book, and I loved how she never backed away from any problems and always protected and cared for her closed ones. I also loved the way she calls him 'Grizzly' it was so cute.
Vikram, OMG! I absolutely love this man. He is absolutely perfect. I loved how he never ran away from any challenges and his responsibilities and always protected his closed ones. Also I loved it whenever he got jealous, it was so fun read. Also the way he calls her ' Momo' just to irritate her it was adorable.
I also loved the friendship bonds in this book between the main characters. I loved how they always stood by each other and helped each other.
Overall I absolutely loved this book. If you love reading enemies to lovers, marriage of convenience, slow burn and ofcourse lotsvof drama then you will love this book.
A book that starts and ends with banter. From the very beginning, I was hooked! There was tension between Mahika and Vikram from the second chapter itself, when the will was being discussed.
I felt sorry for Mahika in the beginning. A young girl who's ambitious, but has to be restricted by the rules set by someone who is not ready to leave her side even during death. But I'm glad that Vikram was an open minded person. He too had things going on from his end. But the dialogues exchanged between the two had me laughing out loud. There were emotional moments as well, like when I hoped Mahika's mother would be supportive towards her.
What I also love about this book is how it values friendship. Both Vikram and Mahika's friend circle are worth it. They are supportive chaps who hold each other during the time of distress. This is the reason why found family is always my favourite trope.
Don't be worried about the number of pages, because the book is fast paced which is why I never knew when I finished this book.
She calls him Grizzly, while he calls her Momo. Why? Read the book to find out! 🤩
Wow! That's how I would like to start this review, it's a cute romance where love came unknowingly to their nest. The marriage that was forced on them, as recorded on the papers, would never have been this beautiful. What a cute little journey of Vikram and Mahika. Loving each other from a distance to being each other's forever is a true adoration.
What worked for me the most is the flow, sequence, and conversations, the dialogues, uff, they're so apt and perfect. Whether it's Vikram and Mahika's bantering, friends pulling legs, boardroom conversation, Mohit and Vikram's verbal fight, or any other scene, the dialogues were just prodigious. The flow was so smooth that I couldn't realize when I finished the entire story. Just a few hours, a single sitting, and I was done. The entire story felt alive, as if it were asking me to be involved in it.
For many, Vikarm might look like a bossy lover, but for me, that's how he shows his love. He is different, yet the most loving one. Totally a gentleman and someone every girl needs.
This book truly won my heart. I won’t lie — it started off a little slow for me, but once it picked up pace, I loved every single bit of it!
Mahika and Vikram are both dealing with the pain of losing their fathers. But things get even more complicated when they’re forced to marry each other to protect their fathers’ legacy. Neither had an easy childhood — both longed for freedom and love — and now they’re bound together, convinced that the other person hates them. It’s the final move in their fathers’ twisted game.
But what they don’t realize is that they were always meant to be. What looked like cruelty from their fathers was, in a strange way, their attempt at love.
This story is about two people finding unexpected love in the middle of chaos, learning to face whatever life throws at them, and protecting each other no matter the odds.
If that sounds like your kind of story, definitely pick this one up!
Tropes: Frenemies to lovers Marraige of convenience Forced proximity Best friend's brother Slow bum Found family Touch her and ☠️
Today I read this book- entangled vows and This Indian romance novel is a MUST-READ, especially if you are crazy fans of steamy romance and contract marriage tropes. Okay so the story goes like this - there is a umm complex relationship between the fmc - Mahika, and her long-time crush (more of childhood crush ) , Vikram, they get married to protect their businesses. Now guys, believe me when I say this, the story is so filled with streamy romance with a twist , they both have such a good chemistry, or I would rather say sizzling chemistry and Tension between them is so fking well written -Damn!!! I totally loved every bit of it. The tension was so intense that it made me hold my breath! The chemistry was sizzling. I could feel the heat from the pages itself.
The banter was cherry on the top. The way Mahika challenged him at each and every step made me fall hopelessly in love with this book. It has soooo much entertainment, from Ishika's funny dialogs to Vikram's brooding and commanding orders, from Mahika's strong headedness to Vikram's inner monologues this book had me in a chokehold.
I loved all the side characters as well, the entire Friends gang of Vikram, (my first hubby Arjun), Especially Ishika and Mohit. The slow burn was actually BURNING and the angst was so apt. I completed this book in a single sitting, so you can guess how much I loved it. The pacing was perfect and the twists keep you completely engaged.
Uffff, I loved Vikram and Mahika's story. It was so much better than I expected. The enemies to lovers trope with marriage of convenience was so well done in the book.
Vikram Khurana is a hot, dashing, charming billionaire who looks cold, calm and calculating from outside but he is a sottie and a caveman from inside. This guy is very possesive of Mahika in a good way ofcourse 💗. Mahika, she is gorgeous, confident and independent, sassy and a prankster to annoy Vikram😂.
I loved their banter, it was so fun and refreshing to read. Their storyline was well developed with thriller elements in between. I loved their sizzling hot chemistry. It was perfect amount of romance, spice, tension, and suspense. The plot was amazing.
He calls her Momo. She calls him Grizzy. they both hate this name😂.
Overall, I loved the book and enjoyed it a lot especially the banter part and cameo of characters.
The story follows Vikram and Mahika, who are tied together in a contractual marriage. The attraction is so evident, and the slow burn has my heart for all the right reasons. The tension was literally melting me, the push and pull was so strong. The banter between them is so cute and funny, I loved it. I couldn't get enough of their banter, I was literally waiting for their scenes together so that I could enjoy the banter, underlying attraction, and the tension more. The author’s writing is really top-notch. The flow is so smooth that I couldn't stop reading the story until I completed it. I liked how the side characters added so much fun and drama to the story. The crossover of a few characters from the previous book was a great addition. Overall, I just loved loved this book.
I am screaming after reading this book because, OH MY GAWWDDD! The energy, the slow burn, the chemistry, the intensity, everything was to die for. 💋
Vikram Khurana - the broody man who hides a heart full of love behind walls so high and Mahika Jaykar - fiery, stubborn, everything he can’t resist. Their banter, their tension, their denial, their ways to infuriate each other, their realisation… it’s magic. ✨
And can we talk about the nicknames?! Momo & Grizzly 🐻💞 The ending, the emotions, the backstories - basically everything hit right where it should.

Vikram’s carefully curated life takes a chaotic turn with just one phone call. His dreams, his ventures, his entire life in Mumbai come to a halt as he’s summoned back to the world he once left behind, the memories of Dehradun, and most of all, the suffocating weight of expectations as the Khurana heir.
With his brother gone, he’s now responsible not only for their crumbling hospitality empire, but also for a certain firecracker he never wished to be tied to… no, not at all.
Mahira’s free-spirited soul has always been weighed down by the absence of parental love. But being trapped in a sham marriage with her nemesis for at least one year? Definitely not something she’s looking forward to… or so she thinks.
I’ve read quite a few marriage-of-convenience romances before, but none come close to the inflammable banter between these two. Their constant battle over every little thing, their polar-opposite natures, and that shimmering desire they can’t quite hide; it all fuels an electrifying chemistry. The stakes are high for both: a longing for freedom, a fear of vulnerability, and a connection that neither can deny.
Reading Entangled Vows feels like watching a high-stakes, emotionally charged tennis match: both players fiercely holding their ground. It’s passionate, steamy, and deeply emotional, taking the reader on one unforgettable rollercoaster ride.
Entangled Vows by Era Mable is a book full of laughter, love, and healing. The story beautifully blends some of the most loved tropes brother’s best friend, age gap, business-turned-desire, and contract marriage. It’s cute, comforting, and full of emotions that will make you giggle, blush, and feel all the warmth.
What I loved the most was how Vikram didn’t just understand Mahika but also cared deeply for her family. He didn’t just love his woman he worshipped, protected, cherished, and spoilt her in the most wholesome ways. The plot gives you goosebumps one moment and heart-melting smiles the next.
And Mahika? Oh, she’s a walking, talking dragon fierce, bold, and unfiltered. Yet to her husband, she’s his little baby dragon. Her nicknames are so, so cute! I adored how real her struggle for freedom and independence felt. Every girl deserves the kind of love and space she fought for.
