Scars bind. Love heals. Blood makes family.

I used to think survival was enough. I was wrong.

We’re still hunting for my sister, still tearing down the empire built on stolen lives. Every step brings danger, every victory comes at a cost.

The men who saved me—my protectors, my lovers, my family—have shown me what it means to be cherished, to be wanted, to be loved. I’ve saved them as much as they’ve saved me, and I know one they will always come for me.

Now the past, the darkness, and the fight for justice demand everything we are.

I’ve found my courage. I’ve found my fire. I dare the world to take them from me.

Don’t miss the epic conclusion of the Blood Brothers saga. Everything is on the line, winner take all.

*Please note this is a reverse harem and the author suggests you always read the foreword in her books. Contains some dark elements including trauma in the present day and the past, as well as mature situations, and is definitely intended for 18+ This is book FIVE of FIVE total.

I love books. Not just a little bit, but a lot. Books were my best friends when I was growing up. Books didn’t care if I was new to a town or to a class. They were always there, my trustiest of companions. Until they turned on me and said I had to write them.

I can tell you that my own personal happily ever after included writing books. I’ve always said that an HEA is a work in progress. It’s true in my marriage, my friendships, and in my career. I am constantly nurturing my muse as we dive into new tales, new tropes, new characters and more.

After seventeen years back in Texas, we relocated to the Pacific Northwest in search of seasons, new experiences, and new geography. I can’t wait to discover what life (and my muse) have in store for me.

Maybe writing was always my destiny and romance my fate. After all, my grandmother wasn’t a fan of picture books and used to read me her Harlequin Romance novels.

Friends to lovers, enemies to lovers, friends to enemies to lovers, you name it, I love them and love to write them. I started with Earth Witches Aren’t Easy, the first in the Chance Monroe trilogy, but my characters and I have traveled a long way since I created that urban fantasy world.

One of the series I hear my readers recommend the most is the Untouchable series followed in quick succession by the Vandals, and that just delights me. No lie, whenever one of my readers brings up my wolves, I do a little a fist pump.

I’m active on social media, and I love hearing from readers. Feel free to tag me with a question about any of my books, or just say hi!

This rating grates on me.

I liked everything that happened. But I couldn’t help but feel like it was unfinished.
They have spent over a year searching for Amorrette, and all five books that was Grace’s main focus. Even when they were doing other stuff it was always brought up and on her mind.
Of course it was!
And the guys put in so much work. And yes they helped a lot of people, and took down a lot of bad guys.
But nothing they did really contributed to finding Amorrette.
A guy just showed up out of nowhere and reached out to people from Grace’s old life in case she had contact with them.
And then two pages later we read about how the sisters had talked on the phone, and we see them meet up in less than half a page or something.

It was honestly really disappointing. The build up delivered 10/10. But the end result was like a ballon with a hole in it. It just sank back down to earth.

And I swear Alphabet was suspicious of Rachel two pages before it seemed like she was a key player in getting Grace back into modelling. And she was the one who delivered that message about her sister as well. What happened to those suspicions??

What happened with O’Rourke? Still don’t know if I’m spelling it right, but I was waiting for him to show up in this book. I really liked his character and felt like he had the potential for a really good character arc.
He was close with the guys once upon a time, and had become enemies. And he had an interest in Gracie. I just felt like there was potential there, but he was never even mentioned in this book, let alone made an appearance.

I still think there should be more pages. Some of the previous books were shorter than this. But it still wasn’t long enough. Additions like the side mission with the trafficked kids is great, but when it takes the focus away from the real mission, and the books are relatively short, it all just clashes.
Especially when we are reading a book about multiple relationships who all need to be explored and connections needs to be formed.
Maybe if the books had been longer or the series had been longer the end wouldn’t have felt so rushed, and important pieces of the plot and story wouldn’t have been dropped.

We didn’t even find out why traffickers suddenly stopped coming after her.
Yes, they killed important players that had come for her. But one of the last things we heard from someone as they were deep in the trafficking world was that everyone was looking for Grace because she had gone missing.
And when she mentioned getting back into modeling this was on of their major concerns. But after she met Amorrette and we only saw them hug we are suddenly rushed into an epilogue where she is back into modeling.
It made no sense and got no explanation.

And in that scene. Was she modelling or was she on a mission? She was up on a stage and cameras were flashing, and she was taking her dress off or something. But then the «target» walked in and they suddenly had a mission to do??
But one of their other major concerns when she wanted to go back to her job was how THEIR job required them to be ghosts.
So she couldn’t step into the light without them, but they couldn’t do it if they wanted to keep doing what they were doing.

All of these issues were something they were discussing in the last ten percent of the book. It was all so rushed, and done without any explanation.

And that guy from the cliffhanger in the book prior to this. The one who raped her. He could have easily been used to solve some of these problems. He could have been someone important. And dealing with him could have removed some of the threats to her.
But instead he turned out to be a nobody, who practically knew nothing. And had only pretended to be big and scary when he had Grace after she was first kidnapped and trafficked.
It was such a waste.

And by the way. There is a bonus scene where we get to see Amorette and Grace together. Which I only found out about because I was reading it on kindle and not an actual book. But what do you mean it’s not just in the book?? Why do I have to go out of my way to get a bonus scene of the sisters reuniting after I have spent five books waiting for this to happen?
This book wasn’t all that long, the pages would not have made that much of a detrimental of a difference.
We didn’t even really get any answers about what had happened to Amorette in that bonus scene.

I couldn’t give a lower rating than this cause I can still see myself read this book and the whole series multiple times.
I really do love the story. And I love Grace and all the guys. Bones is definitely my favourite though!
I loved seeing how their relationship developed and it was such a contrast to book one.
And I loved how Grace was involved in their missions for real now. But that she wasn’t suddenly an expert operating on their level. But they actively worked around it, and we saw her struggle but strive to be helpful.

Overall I love the series, but I was disappointed by the end.

I may have reread the entire series immediately after I read this book. And unfortunately I stand by everything I said after the first time.

4.4 stars.
I really enjoyed this series as a whole.
But this book, and the end in general, kinda of just fizzled out into its resolution. Maybe because Blake Blessing wrote the other twin’s series first and Heather didn’t want overlap at the end?…I don’t know, I’m thinking about reading Amorette’s story but haven’t made up my mind about it.🤷🏻‍♀️

what a conclusion!

The story was a bit slow, picked back up towards the end. In all honesty, the entire series overall is a solid 4 stars with more story than spice. When there is spice, it’s spicy
I loved Grace from the beginning and building the relationships with these men was really fun. The banter, the easiness.

This was my most anticipated read of the year and it came in RIGHT on time! Dare picks up exactly where Oath left off and the action keeps you guessing and along for the ride for the rest of the book. Grace's overall character growth is INCREDIBLE and I love the duality of her personality (from her most savage to her most fragile). The men are ALL top notch and I loved them each so much for their different qualities. Their individual strengths and weaknesses made them each so real and relatable and I definitely struggled to pick a favorite. They also have the absolute perfect amount of brotherly banter between them that keeps you laughing and "Aweeeeee-ing". Speaking of the "Awe" factor, I would be completely remiss if I didn't give special attention to the bestest protection pup ever- Goblin. I mean seriously- we all should be so fortunate as to have a Goblin in our lives.

This group is the epitome of "Found Family" and shows the strength that can be built when you find the right people. Also, lets just put it out there, the SPICE was spicin’🥵

An end to another amazing series by Heather Long. Grace has found her place in the world, and it is with Alphabet, Voodoo, Lunchbox, Bones, and Goblin. In the search for her sister Ammorette, they saved many others and grew closer to each other. I think this was a perfect and somewhat realistic ending. Yes, this is fiction, and the characters did everything they could, but they were not invincible. Their search took a lot of time, pain, and effort, and they still didn't get exactly what they wanted. During their journey, Grace became stronger mentally and physically. She was also slowly able to heal from everything she had been through with the help of the guys. And the guys found what had been missing from their lives- her. They weren't just a team anymore they were a family.

Absolutely loved the ending to this series. It tied up most of the lose ends but left room for future stories. Love the surprise character in this book. So many ups and downs as the search for Ammorette. Lots of laughs, some spicy scenes and a few tears as this journey winds to a close .

What I really liked about this series was all the operations. I enjoy reading about characters out in the field, taking down bad guys and saving innocents, and the author did a fantastic job with this aspect.

The relationships were sweet, but even five books in, I really knew very little about these guys, aside from things that could be summarized in one sentence each. I also felt robbed out of a true reunion scene between Grace and her twin. I shouldn't have to seek out a bonus content to read something that belonged on the page.

Honestly this series probably could have been three books and had the same impact. I was also a bit bummed that the whole series was working towards one goal and the resolution was very short.

The Blood Brothers series had so much potential, and honestly, the first books completely hooked me. The tension, the mystery surrounding Am, the protectiveness of the guys, the emotional pull between Grace and the men — all of it kept me invested all the way through.

But by the end, it felt like the series abandoned the very story it spent five books building.

The biggest issue for me was Am. The ENTIRE series revolved around finding her. That was the emotional core of everything — Grace’s trauma, the danger, the motivation behind the guys risking everything. Yet when the reunion finally happens, it’s barely given any page time. After all that buildup, it felt rushed and emotionally hollow instead of cathartic.

There were also so many plot threads introduced that either never received proper closure or felt completely underdeveloped. Bones being tortured and held captive should have had lasting emotional impact and consequences, but it felt brushed aside. O’Rourke had the potential for an incredible character arc and instead just… faded out. The mysterious organization, the thumb drive, the pregnancy, the bank robbery — so many things either lacked explanation or felt disconnected from the actual story.

By the end, the worldbuilding also stopped making sense to me. The guys are supposed to remain ghosts, but somehow they’re openly functioning as Grace’s full-time security while she returns to modeling? After everything the story established about danger, secrecy, trafficking, and protecting her identity, that decision felt unbelievable and contradictory.

I also wish we had gotten more depth about the guys themselves. Where did all the money and endless resources come from? What were their real backgrounds? What happened to Grace’s family? So many important details felt either glossed over or ignored entirely.

What frustrates me most is that the series had all the pieces to be incredible. The emotional tension and mystery in the earlier books were genuinely addictive. But the ending felt rushed, unfinished, and more focused on wrapping things up quickly than delivering the emotional payoff the story had earned.

I'm really conflicted over what rating to give this. If I was basing my rating on my love of the characters and their relationship it would be 5 stars. No question. The author did an amazing job and created truly memorable characters. I liked her individual connection to each of the guys. 50 stars for that aspect.

But after that it gets tricky when it comes to the disappointing way the author chose to write the final few chapters. There was SO much build up to Grace finding Amorette. That had been the main focus. The goal that they were all working towards. I felt robbed by the complete lack of sharing their first contact. The author just nonchalantly say they had a phone call. What?! Well what did they say, how did they feel? THIS was their first time speaking in over a year. I don't want some 1 sentence throw away line that they had a phone call. No emotional payoff after 4 books of Grace searching for her sister. The readers deserved that moment.

Then the scene where they meet. It was an extremely brief scene considering this was the culmination of her year long search. I was extremely disappointed again. It was anti climatic on so may levels.

Also, ironically after 5 books, it turns out NOTHING they did led to her finding her sister. Matias, clever Matias, single handedly brought it about.

We also never learned why Grace was taken??? And by who? Was it the same people who took her sister? That seems like an important plot point to leave unanswered.

The ending spoiled the book for me. It seemed rushed and not well thought out.

Overall I loved the series. Heather Long is a good writer and she created a lovely relationship between the four. I just wish she had written the ending differently

if it was possibly I would give this 3.5 stars.

So, it looks like my pacing prediction, whilst not completely accurate, was still a thing. This book started out great and kept going great! There was great action and we actually starting seeing some progress with what they were doing. Then, things just fizzled out at the end and then the ending was just tacked on there, like she needed the happy ending so there it is.

I was so happy with this book because there was progress! I liked learning more and more with them, and enjoyed how the puzzle was all coming together. It was going so great! Then, it just stopped. They seemingly hit a wall and went back to Montana, and then... nothing else after that. Things took a huuuge step backward, and stayed there.

Then, there is the ending. They didn't discover anything, someone actually came looking for them. All that work they did and all the missions trying to find her sister was really for nothing. Sure, they rescued the kids and women from that last location, but all of the rest was pointless. If they had just sat back and relaxed the whole time, they would have ended up in the same situation. It just invalidates the whole thing for me.

Then, that last scene when they find each other. They cry and hug. The end. That's it, that's all you get. We have all these books from both series of these two women trying to find each other and get back to each other, and you just leave it with a paragraph at the end? It felt like it was thrown on there to give it an end so the author could move on to other things.
This whole series has felt like there wasn't any real directly and there was only one goal. They didn't even achieve the goal of finding her sister, it was handed to them at the end. I feel very let down by the whole thing.

I will not read these again, nor will I recommend them to others.

Wow - what an amazing finish to an absolutely brilliant series! Bravo 👏 Heather long for creating yet another world and characters that I am utterly delighted to have met.

Dare picks right up where we left off and it keeps us on the edge of our seats throughout the book. When we do have moments of lower action, the characters …The characters make up for it with other actions 😍😈🥵🥵!!

“Yeah, that’s it,” I grunted, my thumb finding her c!ït and rubbing in tight, merciless circles. “Let them hear you, Grace. Let them know what I’m doing to you.”

I absolutely adore Grace and the growth she has throughout this series. Honestly, the guys are all my favorites! I Cannot pick just one and I am beyond glad Grace didn’t have to either. Bones, AB, Lunchbox, Voodoo are all so important and each bring their unique qualities to the table. I might have a favorite in Goblin - because he is the best protection pup ever!

What I think makes the best about all of them is the way they all support each other. They do discount their fears, their struggles and they don’t let each other ever think for one second they are alone. They are not just a team, they are family. The way they have lifted Grace up through this series is my absolute love language.

This series will be one I re-read and as they release on audio, listen to it over and over again. I seriously can not wait for you all to enjoy it.

If you have not started it, now is your chance. If you have, check out one of Heather’s other amazing series that tie into this, The Untouchable (where we originally meet Rachel), The 82nd Street Vandals (Doc) and the series that branch from them.

It's time to go on the offensive against the traffickers and time to get some answers regarding Amorette. Grace is not the same girl she was before she was taken, and her men aren't the same men they were before she crashed into their lives. They saved her in more ways than one, and she added meaning to their lives. Now they all have something to fight for.

For me, this final book was the best in the series until the ending. It felt unfinished. The search had been the paramount arc throughout the series, only to lead to a brief reunion. I didn't realize this was a multi-author effort between the sisters (not sure how I missed that), but had I known, I would have been reading the series simultaneously. Maybe it would have made the brevity of their encounter more palatable.

Possible spoilers, so proceed with caution. The lead-up was fantastic, but the mission finale was disappointing. This was a 5-star until it ended, but with the lingering storylines, I deducted a star. Their efforts were valiant and fruitful, but didn't further their search to find Amorette, which was frustrating. We had to settle for a 'wrong time, wrong place ' explanation as to why Grace was kidnapped, and then there was no follow-up as to whether she was still in danger from the traffickers or if, with certain deaths, she was safe again. What about Infanta? What happened to O'Rourke? I think it would have been a better trilogy with a few pieces removed, since there was no resolution.

5⭐️ / 2🌶️

I am screaming! This series was an absolute banger!! I literally devoured all 5 books, all 1,588 pages, in just 8 days. I could not put it down; this series had me completely sat and locked in from the very first page to the very last. The buildup to each MMC’s relationship with Grace is perfectly paced, delivering a moderately slow burn without making you wait until the final pages of the series for the group to finally click together. Balancing a reverse harem where the guys don’t all fall at once is incredibly tricky, and usually, early connections get pushed aside when new bonds emerge. However, this series handles it flawlessly, giving consistent attention and growth to every single relationship throughout the books. Each of the men used their codename for most of the series, which made for quite an amusing time writing my notes. I can’t tell you how many times I giggled jotting down “sex with Lunchbox”!

Just like those budding connections, the spicy scenes ramp up perfectly as the story progresses, balancing the heated moments with high-stakes action side quests. The plot is intensely mission-oriented and the tension of following leads to take out key players in the human trafficking trade kept me hooked. There is an equal amount of quality relationship time and thrilling plot development, making it an incredibly well-rounded read!

**This series interconnects to Bastard Brothers of Carnage by Blake Blessings (missing twin sister is FMC)

Let me just say: Wow! I was SO ready to read this last book in the Blood Brothers series but now that it’s over? I’m going to miss all these characters, so very, very much.

For all that has happened in the first four books, Dare (book 5) ties up the story with more intrigue, suspense, mystery, and a whole lotta love – and it’s all rolled into this last book. I loved how Grace became a very important part of the team. She and “her boys” (Alphabet, Lunchbox, Bones, Voodoo, and even Goblin, the dog) help others who may need it, despite their own goals. And the do it with very little care for their own safety. But. The guys ALWAYS have Grace’s back. Front. Side. You name it. I loved it but so sorry to see it end. I have NO idea how the author comes up with these stories but I’m sure happy she does!

Dare, and the entire series, has been a rollercoaster of a ride. It was gritty and soft at the same time. It may be hard for someone to picture these five people fitting together but they really, really do. And they go thru hell to get there. What Grace (especially) has been through is hard to accept as happening in the world, but it does, and their…journey to get to the end is SO worth reading. I loved this book, and the series, and can only hope there are real people out there who care enough to be there for any of us. Loved it!

Dare by Heather Long was a solid ending to the BLOOD Brothers series, even if it didn’t fully hit the same way the earlier books did for me.

Plot: I still really enjoyed this one because there was plenty of action and chaos to keep things moving, but at times it felt like we were repeating a lot of the same scenes and conversations. Something about the writing also felt different from the rest of the series. There were moments where it genuinely gave “AI generated book” vibes, which pulled me out of the story a little.

Characters: By book five, there really wasn’t much character growth left, but I still loved this entire group 😭 Bones stressed me out a bit because I feel like we didn’t truly get to know him until the end of Oath, and then here he suddenly felt more generic.

AB/Alphabet officially stayed my number one man for the whole series though 🖤 Right next to Goblin, the true MVP and best boy. Lunchbox and Voodoo were definitely tied for second place for me.

Spice: The spice was still good, but I didn’t enjoy it nearly as much as the previous books.

Ending: That ending was STRESSFUL 😭 We technically got answers… kind of? But apparently if I want the real answers, I have to read another connected series by a different author, and I honestly don’t know if I’m ready to commit to that kind of investment right now.

This is the 5th book of the Blood Brothers and its an epic ending!!

To tell you the truth i needed this book...i needed to see Grace becoming herself again and healing and be loved and finding amorette.
I needed to see that scene and having the ending this story had to have.
I needed to see her with bones and lunchbox and alphabet and Voodoo.
I needed to see their realtionship growing and solidifying and them handling everything that came their way and coming out the other side winners even if they were beaten and defeated at times.
I loved this story so much .
The author is known to be able to put together the misfits and write some amazing well written stories filled with action and angst and passion and love and explosives and blood and violence.
She is amazing in taking all the elements of crazy characters and impossible worlds and delivering beautifully structures stories that will drag you through mud and pain and hilarity and suffering and you will get through to the other side laughing and feeling pleased and damn happy you got to read her story and her characters.
Those characters and these stories will become part of your family and your life and you will get so invested in them that you will laugh and cry and scream with them and at them.

Go Gracie!!
Honestly the woman is so strong to have gone through all that she has and continue to crusade for those who have suffered like her - especially as it may not give her the answers she needs for her sister 😖
This book starts right in the middle of the action as Grace has to face off with one of the monsters from her capture - it was a truly realistic depiction and showed her fire! This book truly demonstrated the connection between Voodoo, Lunchbox, Alphabet and Bones, as well as their drive to get Grace answers but also help those in need 🥰 There as plenty of drama and tension in this book as they take down those involved, making it easy to read; owner I did find the pacing was very quick in some places and then towards the end really slowed down a tad. But the story keeps you on your toes as you wonder if they will ever get the answers they need 😲 This forces them in a different direction but one that really cements their future as a unit….and they certainly know how to seal the deal 🌶️ Despite the worry there is a worthy HEA!!

Great end to a brilliant series

I’m so sad to be saying goodbye to these characters, they’ve each captured my heart. Grace with her fierce devotion and the way with each new challenge, she’s gains and shows her strength. Bones with his quiet, bossy self being the strength the family unit needs to lean on and he knows when. I love Voodoo’s sense of humour and the way he adores Grace with a passion. Alphabet with his unyeilding determination to go above and beyond to help Grace find her sister but also to keep them all safe. Lunchbox I just love how he just dotes on her. I honestly can’t pick a favourite.
These characters will live rent free in my head and heart. I love this book and getting to see them be the strong family unit I was hoping for. The spice picks up and I was all here for it, hot as fudge. The writing, the twists, the storyline and the characters have been amazing from the very start. I’ve been h00ked from the first page and I’ve been d¥ing for these to get their HEA/HFN. It’s been a phenomenal series and this book was just everything I needed *chef’s kiss*. I’ll definitely be rereading this series often. Loved it!

The ending leaves a lot to be desired!

Ugh...Okay so my first reaction is this could have easily been a trilogy.

Spoilers :

Way too many pointless interrogations. So many pages of descriptive torture for no results.

Why did we have to read about a random guy attacking the FMC in a barn? Just adding more trauma to this poor girl. Unnecessary.

Same with the pointless bank robbery. It had nothing to do with the plot.

We have five books of tracking down her sister and we get 1 page of their reunion!!!!
Where was she!? How is she pregnant? Glad she's alive but what the hell happened!?

It's unclear as to how the guys have so much money. Houses all over the world, and endless access to vehicles and supplies. What is their job exactly and are they still doing it or are they now just her security team?

Fresh eyes need to fix numerous typos throughout all of the books.

Way too slow of a burn. A few good spicy scenes and a little bit of some fun banter, but left wanting more.

On a positive note, there were some heart wrenching scenes and beautiful relationships formed. This plot had so much potential; Disappointed on so many levels.

The ending!

Heather Long created a world that is apart of Blake Blessings series and she did an amazing job! Where Blake’s series starts so too does Heather’s pick up! Know what happened with Amorette and her guys you expect to get right in there with the kidnapping. This series did not disappoint. We see Grace’s story and what she goes through and how her guys come into play. The conclusion to basically both series is was tough on the emotions. You know that it’s coming and you have a guess as to what’s happening but reading it brings the tears on. Grace and her guys learn to adjust and live again. They’ve rescued children and are actively working on taking everyone connected with the kidnappers down. We get to see a glimpse of Rachel as she’s living her best life being an amazing photographer! I can’t wait until she gets her own series!! Heather Long is one of a few authors that I will wait to read one book before the next is out and I will definitely read slowly when I reach the last book!

i have mixed feelings about this book, i dont know if it’s a 3.5 or a solid 4

on one hand, i loved the banter, the action scenes they all had together and the more homebodies version of them all

on the other though… i honestly thought that we would get a way better ending than this. grace wanting to model again after all this shit? just quitting the search for amorette? a 6 page reunion?

i feel like we had such a big lead up for the last book/final chapter for them and this book did not meet the expectations (mine, i should say)

i also wished we got to see more about nico and how the kids were doing cause they were the “hold my beer” part of the book and i’d love to see grace and the guys just knowing more about what happened after but alas we cant always have everything.

overall, i loved this series and books 1-4 are wonderful.
this last one is fun but not as good as the rest…

2/5 series review— man, I wanted to like this. The first 3 books were pretty good—not Heather’s best imo—but good. Then things… went off kilter and never recovered. Book 4 felt like it served nothing to the overall story and then book 5 fell SO flat and again, served very little to the story. There were also some inconsistencies in it from previous books—how her career and online presence was erased but then it wasn’t? And a few other minor things. We meet and learn about SO many characters and organizations… I kept waiting for the pat off. For the mystery board to connect and the pieces all to fall into place… it doesn’t though.

For plot alone I’m giving this series a 1/5. The only thing that bumped it was the fact I enjoyed the guys… but, tbh, the last 2 books need overhauled for me to recommend this series 😭🙈

Dare is the 5th book and ending to this series at least for now. who knows...Definitely worth the read and a excellent finish to this chapter in their lives for now, hopefully we will see more of them in the future. They never found her sister, but for now Grace can get on with her life with her 4 guys until they get a better lead on her sister. In this book Grace finds her courage to take back her life and to live. She can go back to model and have her happily ever after if thats what she wants and so much more. If you haven't read this series from the beginning, it is so much better to start with Book 1 and read in order. This was definitely worth the wait and should be on your TBR list.
Awesome series.

I can't believe it's over. I loved every second of this series. Gracie and her guy's are just perfection. They're all so yummy and protective of her. The love and Devotion they all show her and eachother is just everything, this is why my favourite guy changes everytime and honestly couldn't pick a favourite, I want them all. I loved the found family feels and im keeping everything crossed this won't be the last we see them or hear about them. Fantastic five star read that I will be shouting from the rooftops about. You will not be disappointed if you love a why choose romance that keeps you on the edge of seat throughout. Loved , loved , loved it and I can't believe im saying goodbye to Gracie , Goblin and the guy's.

Devastating yet exhilarating end to series

The action, healing and building a life after the hell Grace has experienced brings a bittersweet end to this explosives series. Saying goodbye to Bones's stoicism, Voodoo's charm, Alphabet’s sweetness and Lunchbox's humorousness is difficult. Their can do, no one is left behind attitude is addictive.
Heather Long has the uncanny ability to create such vivid characters and explosive stories that leaves you craving more. Dare starts right where we were left off. So be prepared for a roller coaster read. Dare is filled with angst and suspense. But also healing and finding strength. Character growth and chosen family is the driving force. I am obsessed. MVP is Goblin, best boy ever.

Well it's over and I along with a lot of other people are obviously a bit down due to the Amorette reunion, I guess it was always going to be an issue crossing over with another authors series.

I have to say I had a brief glimpse at Amorettes book by Blake Blessing and Grace was barely mentioned, like an afterthought whereas all Grace cared about from book 1 was Amorette, finding her and making sure she is safe. It feels like an almost unrequited love story of it's own.

If you remove all that stuff you have a pretty solid RH romance and it was great to see the team bring down the bad guys and get their happily ever after so to speak. Lots of action and adventure just the way I like it.

Overall a solid series.

This was the perfect conclusion to the series! I absolutely loved the audiobook, and the voice actors with their duet style were wonderful! After that horrible cliffhanger, I loved that Grace showed what a survivor she was. The guys were their to support her through everything. I loved the group dynamic that showed how much each of them was needed and important. While a majority of this book was Grace and the guys tracking down leads to find Amorette, Heather Long made sure to include homey moments that helped highlight what an amazing group they are. And the little easter eggs to other series are always fun to spot! While I'm sad this series is over, I look forward to other snippets of them to be found in her other series.

This was a good series and I really enjoyed the plot of it and the developing storylines but the actual result of finding Amorette fell so flat. It was at the VERY end of the book and we saw them together for a couple of pages.
Also how the guys didn’t find Am it was a randum person who came to them, these guys have been so overachieving in every mission throughout the series so it was a bit meh that they had nothing to do with finding Grace’s sister.
It was a good series minus the ending.
Also I know Am has her own set of books but I don’t have it in me to read another 5 book series just to get a little insight into her side of what happened to her.
