Rate this book

This graphic novel tells the story of two women from different generations: Delphine Seyrig and her mother. Through their lives, the book explores women’s freedom, representation, and engagement in societies that often tried to limit their choices.
I discovered Delphine Seyrig beyond her film roles, as a thoughtful and committed woman, deeply aware of how women were perceived and treated. Her mother’s journey is equally moving, especially her desire for independence and travel at a time when such freedom was difficult to claim.
The artwork is simple and expressive, with soft colors that create a reflective and emotional atmosphere.
A meaningful and accessible read, especially for readers interested in women’s history and feminist perspectives.
