💌 Author’s This story is a slow-burn, forbidden workplace reverse harem—emotional, sensual, and full of tension before the heat. If you love strong heroines and protective men, you’ll feel right at home.
What a book!! I absolutely loved Hannah Ryder’s writing style and I was immediately invested in Jo’s story. This book is a why choose romance, which is a favourite trope of mine. The author did a great job with this one! I absolutely loved the dynamic between the FMC & 3x MMC’s. There is always that bit of competitiveness & tension between the MMC’s in the initial stages of the book, and the author did a great job balancing this part. They all fit with Jo in their own ways & it flowed so well together.
I can tell these books will be those comfort reads for me. The ones you reach for when you’re in a certain mood, and you know they’ll hit the spot! This is my first taste of Hannah Ryder & it’s safe to say I’ll definitely be back for more!
Knocked Up by the Bosses by Hannah Ryder is a sizzling sow-burn romance that delivers a perfect blend of emotional depth and tension. After a reckless, unforgettable hookup in an airplane bathroom, Jo ‘s life takes an unexpected turn when she discovers that the mysterious man, Colton , is now her new boss. The plot thickens with the addition of his two equally attractive and intense “brothers”, Marco and Chuck, creating a captivating reverse harem dynamic.
The chemistry and tension between the characters builds beautifully, making the eventual spicy scenes all the more satisfying.
When Jo discovers she’s pregnant, everything becomes complicated, bringing a whirlwind of drama, emotion, and tangled relationships. As feelings grow stronger, who will step up when it matters most?
Jo is a young woman focused on her career who uproots her entire life to move across the country for an amazing job. On the plane flying to it she meets a handsome older man ,flirts then has anonymous sex with him in the bathroom enjoying the thrilling experience. No names exchanged. Imagine her shock when she gets to her new jobs orientation and the ceo walks in and it’s the Man U just had sex with on the plane. He’s shocked to and u decide to pretend it never happened. Then u are on a work trip and get stranded with him and his 2 friends all owners of the company and u end up having sex with them to. And for some reason u keep doing it without protection. Which of course leads to a pregnancy and no idea who daddy is. Plus the dynamics of each man is very different they each are dealing with their own insecurities, traumas and pasts but each wants u despite knowing the others are also having u. None know who the baby daddy is but what happens if they don’t worry about that? What happens if they all just continue like they have been taking care of Jo and loving on her? Does it really matter who fathered the baby? They’re best friends and in each others lives already can they convince Jo life would be better with them all together making a family? Can Jo make a choice if the men demand it? Spicy, controversial, uncertain, vulnerable, yet fun, loving, caring, supportive all 4 navigate their way thru the minefield of wanting the same woman someone who works for them.

I seem to be in the minority here, but this book just didn’t land for me. Mild spoilers ahead.
First, the surprise baby-daddy plot really threw me. If you have unprotected sex, pregnancy is a possibility — that’s just life. Having forty-something characters act genuinely shocked felt unrealistic, especially when no one ever mentions protection in the first place.
Second, Jo constantly worries about how sleeping with her boss could affect her career or reputation… yet she never actually stops anything. The first time, fine — she didn’t know. But afterwards? She’s fully aware and keeps going anyway. It made her internal conflict feel inconsistent and a bit forced.
Third, and probably the biggest issue for me, the characters simply don’t communicate. They avoid each other for most of the book, and then suddenly they’re living together, exchanging I-love-yous, and jumping into group activities with zero buildup. There’s no real emotional foundation, no conversations, not even basic updates — she doesn’t tell two of them about the pregnancy at all, and somehow everyone acts like that’s perfectly fine.
Overall, the story felt like a series of spicy scenes threaded together by a very indecisive narrative. The heroine can’t seem to settle on what she wants, then acts shocked when people react to her actions instead of her unspoken intentions. The spice was probably the strongest part — hot, but not particularly heartfelt.
From a steamy mile-high encounter to an unexpected workplace reunion, Knocked Up by the Bosses by Hannah Ryder delivers a sizzling, emotional rollercoaster of a romance. Jo’s journey begins on a flight to Colorado, where a spontaneous spark with a handsome stranger named Colton turns into something much more complicated, He’s her new boss. And he’s not the only one interested. His two best friends and business partners are equally drawn to Jo, creating a deliciously tense and passionate “why choose” dynamic.
Ryder masterfully balances the chemistry between Jo and each of the three men, allowing emotional depth and physical connection to flourish with all of them. Their relationships evolve naturally, even as competitiveness and tension simmer beneath the surface. A business trip to Hawaii turns into an unexpected bonding experience, and when Jo discovers she’s pregnant, with no clear idea who the father is, the story takes a heartfelt turn. All three men step up, choosing love and family over uncertainty.
This book is packed with drama, heat, and heart. Jo’s character is strong, career-driven, and refreshingly real, and her journey from New York to Colorado is filled with growth, surprises, and ultimately, happiness. Hannah Ryder’s writing is captivating and addictive.
I am grateful for the opportunities to read all of these amazing books by Hannah.
A great read with a slow-build RH romance, 3 gorgeous men she can't stay away from, forced proximity, becoming family, twists, sweet and spicy romance and love. I loved the character development, strong friendship and the support they all give each other in this, a wonderful heartwarming read.

When he invites her to join him in the bathroom she thinks she'll never see him again and takes the chance. But she's shocked when she gets to the intro meeting at her new company and she recognises her new CEO and boss.
Colton is shocked to see the lady he met on the plane is his new Head of Marketing but tries to keep things business, even if he can't stop thinking about her. His best friends and co-workers can see that something or someone is bothering him. When they plan a business retreat to Hawaii Marco is quick to point out they need their Head of Marketing with them, though Colton can tell he has other things on his mind with the suggestion.
But when a storm means they're all trapped on the island Jo finds herself spending more time than she'd imagined with all three of them, and the four of them need to work out what's going on between them before it becomes am HR disaster.

This book was such a quick and spicy read — I didn’t even realize I’d devoured it in under 12 hours!
Jo’s off to Colorado for a new work adventure when she meets Colton mid-flight… and let’s just say, turbulence wasn’t the only thing heating up in the sky. 👀 She figures she’ll never see him again — wrong! Turns out, Colton is her new boss, and things get very complicated when his two best friends (and business partners) want her too.
We get to see Jo connect with all three men equally — emotionally and physically — and the dynamic totally works. And when a baby enters the picture (yes, it’s in the title!), the sweetest part is that none of them know who the father is — but they all step up. 🍼💞
Such a good reverse harem! It’s sexy, heartfelt, and fast-paced. Definitely picking up more from Hannah Ryder soon!
Hannah Ryder has done it again. This is a scorching hot romance. 2 strangers meeting on a plane from NYC to Denver. They join the mile high club in the bathroom. Then Jo arrives to work for her first day of orientation only to realize that stranger is the CEO of her new job. Tension is thick as neither wants to really talk about what happened on the plane. Then a work business trip takes her, the CEO, COO and their biggest investor to Hawaii. Back weather leaves them stranded there. Jones falls for the COO and then the investor as different times. After being back in Denver for a month, she finds out she's pregnant. But who's the baby daddy is anyone's guess. Luckily she doesn't have to choose because they all want her and form their own family.
Omgggg, what a wild ride… or should I say rides? 👀
Another win for my bookshelf with this one! .. an intense, spicy, and fast paced read that had me needing a minute (or five) ‘cause.. 🥵🔥
I loved how clearly defined each character’s role was and how effortlessly they meshed with Jo 👀 Their dynamic was beautiful, and the chemistry? Absolutely top tier! 🤌🏻 The way they balanced each other out was perfection!!
And let’s not forget .. each of them had their own struggles and layers, adding so much emotional depth to all the heat 🥹
This is exactly what I mean when I say the “why choose” trope is 🤌🏻😏
Can’t wait to add more of Hannah Ryder’s books to my TBR!

ARC Review Knocked up by the Bosses By Hannah Ryder
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 🌶🌶🌶🌶
Ever wonder what would happen when a storm keeps you stranded at a resort in Hawaii with 3 of your hot bosses?
Chuck, Marco, and Colton all have horrible childhood memories but will do anything to make sure their child has the best ones ever. And how else to do that then by having 3 fathers ♥️
I absolutely love Jo she is a strong, capable hard worker and wants the best life for their baby
Jo’s story is one every woman dreams of, but thinks she’ll never live ! 3 men, one fantastic job and a baby … wait a baby ?? Hannah Ryder has given us another scorching , sexually charged read that ends up with a found family of 3 male best friends and Jo, plus baby makes 5 . A very enjoyable story about Jo, who is starting a new life in a new state. John was a foster kid, who has mostly been alone. The characters in the story, have a wonderful chemistry. Colton, Chuck and Marco seem to really care for Jo and look after her. The guys are sexy and the scenes are very steamy. Hannah has a knack for writing interesting, fun stories.

I honestly love this author but I struggled with this one and I am not 100% sure why as I am all for polyamory, age gap and office romance. I mean there was spice, drama and I really liked the FMC character Jo but I don’t know on this one and I have a hard time putting it into words. The pregnancy troupe normally doesn’t bother me but I don’t know with this one. Going to give 4/5 stars because the storyline was still good but it wasn’t a 5 star read for me this time.
She wanted a fresh start and thought what happened on the plane was just the way to do it. What she never thought was that she would see him again. When he see's her he knows he is in trouble. When his friends see him they know something has changed. When the others meet her they know why their friend fell for her. I would love to read more about these characters.

Wasnt a big fan of this lacking emotions and love. Ending was a disappointment could of done so many yrs later. So read the extended version which was crap. It basically was her going into labour and that was it no what they was having ir anything. Not even saying what was said in the meeting or anything. Plus when you state there they are when scanning your saying mire than one but it was just one baby. Little mistakes ruin a story.
this was a spicy office romance. we meet Jo who leaves a crappy boyfriend and new York to find herself in a travel job for marketing. she's having a hard time traveling and gets up graded to first class and met a man who is top tier. turns out that man she met, her one of her HOOOTTTT BOSSES 🥳🥳 all 3 of them men are hot, spicy and more. there's a surprise. read to find out

Jo had a spicy connection with an older gentleman while joining the mile high club. However, their reunion turns into something intoxicating as his brother's could not resist the pull. This reverse harem was most entertaining and enjoyable to read.
