The Light of Deception

Rate this book
In the enchanting city of Savannah, Georgia, Jan’s life takes an unexpected turn when renowned painter Luke Dupris offers her a chance to escape to Paris. Once a student inspired by his words, she now finds herself in a world brimming with creativity and mystery.
But beneath Luke's charming exterior lies a web of hidden secrets, intertwined with heartbreak and loss. As Jan finds herself captivated by the vibrant streets of Paris, she discovers her haunting connection to Luke's late wife, Eliana. Left alone in Avignon, Jan's heart is drawn to Eddie, a charming performer she met on the plane, but her growing feelings for him clash with her desire to uncover the truth behind Luke's mysterious façade.
As Jan delves deeper into her family's hidden history and confronts the shadows of Montmartre, she must choose between uncovering the truth about Luke or succumbing to the dangerous patterns that could repeat Eliana's tragic fate. Will Jan embrace her artistic journey and find her way back home to Savannah, or will the light of deception consume them all?

Sweet story! I love all the Savannah references and so happy Luke ended up back in Jan’s life.
