Can they learn to trust again??
Clayton has just been dumped by the two people that he saw forever with. And he’s really struggling to get over it so he decides to buy a yacht and have a break and hope that he can get over his broken heart. But on his way to the marina, he hears gunshots. And then a very attractive man runs out hand him a baby and tells him to take her to the Marina where the owners would look after her. And before Clayton can do anything, the guy runs off again as more gunshots can be heard. It takes him about half an hour to get to the marina and by then he’s already fallen in love with a little princess on his lap.
Vaughan would do anything to keep his daughter safe. His wife had been murdered and now they were after Vaughan and Mabel. He thought he was safe in the marina but when he went into town, he saw the guys that were after him and the gunfire started. As a car was coming by Vaughan thought the only thing he could do was trust a stranger to take his daughter to the marina. Vaughan was seriously scared. Some days later he came face-to-face with the stranger again. He learned that his name was Clayton.
As a thank you Vaughan cooked dinner for Clayton on his new yacht super yacht this thing was huge. The kitchen was a chefs dream and it was such a shame because Clayton couldn’t cook he was living on takeout but as these two men spend more time together the attraction is undeniable but could Vaughan trust Clayton with the truth about the people that were after him and why??
This was a good read. I really enjoyed that Clayton and Vaughn didn’t jump in to anything that they took accountability for Mabel and learning to get to know each other. I really enjoyed this Read.

Short story - took me about 1.5 hours to read - but it's full of emotions and intrigue.
Both Clayton and Vaughn are fully developed and likeable characters, and the relationship building between them felt genuine. They are both dealing with heartbreak, but for different reasons and are surprised by the early trust they have with one another. It's not complete trust right away, but it really doesn't take long for that to happen, as well as for them to fall in love and find their HEA.
Vaughn is on the run from a determined and very bad guy, but once he reveals all to Clayton, he gets unexpected help and a quick resolution. For me, I would have like a little more intrigue and maybe a confrontation before the speedy conclusion, but overall, I did enjoy this book.

I received an ARC from Booksprout, this review is my honest opinion.

Clayton & Vaughn

I don't recall much of Clayton's story in the other two books in the series, but I did remember about Melinda being his match from the app that brought Robbie and Dunlop together. I'm disappointed with how his story flows, but he deserved a proper partner that matched his energy and he finds that in Vaughn. I really loved the instant connection Clayton makes with baby Mabel, as short as this book is, because it's nice to see something give him that genuine smile and feeling far more settled. All of the Palmers have had some reason or another to desire that real love. I'm glad there wasn't much follow-up to the part of the story as far as any violence or anything, but I hate that the violence exists in the past at all, especially since it taints Vaughn's happy memories of his best friend.

Movers was an interesting addition to the Upper Echelons series. While I can't say it tops the other two of the series, it was still a very enjoyable read and I loved finishing off the brothers' stories. Now I'm very excited to see how Daddy Palmer's story turns out in the next book.

I received an authorized copy of this book and am volunteering my honest review.

This is book 3 in the series and can be read as a standalone but why not enjoy them all. Clayton is on his way to the marina to get away from being broken up with. On his way, he hears gunshots and stops. He sees someone running through the sugar canes holding a baby. Tasked with taking care of her and bringing her to someplace safe, he runs off. Fast forward a month a Vaughn is with Leo and Rove and taking care of his daughter. He meets Clayton and thanks him for taking care of Mabel. This is a quick read of how they got together and how Vaughn eventually opened up to Clayton with what happened. Great read and cannot wait for the next book.
