Eight months after losing her mother and a breakup that shattered her faith in love, journalist Holland Anderson has lost her spark. When an assignment brings her to the struggling beach town of Saltmere, she vows to focus on her writing stories that might save the town. What she doesn’t expect is Atlas Richens—the reclusive boatbuilder next door who wants nothing to do with her…until one impulsive kiss changes everything.
Drawn together by late nights, secret places, and an undeniable pull, Holland and Atlas discover the power to heal wounds they’ve each carried alone. But the closer they get, the more the past refuses to stay buried. Secrets, betrayals, and a legacy Atlas never asked for threaten to tear them apart.
Holland is left with one Can love really be love if the entire foundation was built on lies?
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Oh, Gemini!! was such a sweet surprise — a small-town, slow-burn romance with that perfect mix of heartache and hope. I loved the cozy beach town vibes, the found family moments, and the chemistry between Holland and Atlas (grumpy x sunshine perfection).
There were a few slower moments, but honestly, it fit the story’s mood — quiet, healing, and a little messy in the best way. It’s not a whirlwind romance, but one that unfolds gently, like the tide coming in. By the end, I found myself really rooting for these two and the life they were building in Saltmere.
It’s heartfelt, coastal, and quietly romantic — like a cup of coffee on a foggy morning by the sea.
✨ Tropes: small coastal town • journalist x boatbuilder • grumpy x sunshine • fake dating • found family
ahh this book was too cute!! i loved all the coastal vibes perfectly balanced with elements of grief and moving on. the quotes in this book were so beautiful and i kept rereading them to get them engraved in my brain.
a little less of a slowburn but i still loved atlas and holland’s relationship so much! the way he waits for her and moves at her own pace is so wholesome.
This was such a cute small town romance! It was quite spicy, which wasn’t my personal taste, but the characters were precious + the ending was so satisfying!!
