I don’t believe in commitment.

I believe in freedom. Fun. The next flight, the next party, the next gorgeous woman who doesn’t ask for forever.

So, when my father drops his favorite ultimatum—get married, have a child, and prove I’m worthy of the Westwood empire—I handle it my way.

With an ad in the paper.

I expect a gold-digger or a lunatic.

What I get is… her.

Curvy. Stunning. Fierce.

The one woman who slipped through my fingers—and left me hungry for more.

She wants stability and a partner who won’t let her down.

I want a signature, a fake wife, and maybe a few stolen nights to remind us both what we lost.

It should be business.

It should be convenient.

But nothing about her is simple.

Her fire matches my recklessness, and her curves undo every ounce of control I pretend to have.

And the kid she’s raising?

He looks at me like I’ve already been his hero for years.

Now I’m playing the part of doting husband in public, kissing her senseless in private, and realizing I might not want to let her go this time.

I built my life on being the playboy of the family.

But falling for my fake wife?

That might be the one game I’ll never walk away from.

This is the third book in the series but can be read as a standalone. I really enjoyed the story, I liked the characters and thought the plot was well developed. I liked seeing Callum’s growth over the course of the story. I was a bit exasperated with Maisie’s reluctance and delays in confessing the truth, but it really helped develop the plot and I liked the way things were resolved.
I received an advance review copy for free, and am leaving this review voluntarily.

Playboy Husband

Wow, being a Westwood, your father’s expectations are getting married, starting a family. Not all the sons are going along with his thinking, and in this day, who really cares what others think, right? Callum , a middle son isn’t ready, yet going through this by running an unconventional ad, yep, Now, can a past hook up from your college years possibly help your situation. This is a fun, easy going, and yet interesting, dramatic story. Love can find you when you least expect it.

(Possible spoilers ahead) So…. H doesn’t find out the kid is his until 80%. 😬 Nobody actually tells him, his small brain actually starts to figure out timelines. And hey, the kid is basically his twin. 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️ (possible spoilers ahead)

This was a decent story but these MCs were painful. h- for engaging in a smexual relationship without telling H the 7 year old kid is his.

H- for just being plain dense not figuring it out sooner. This 7 year old could have had a blinking red sign on him saying “IM YOUR KID” and I don’t think H would’ve picked it up.

Naturally, H was a massive man*hore in college. His POV

“For so many years, I’d been joking about probably having a whole string of children out there I didn’t know about, but now that it was actually happening, the reality was too much to bear.”

There was NOTHING about this H that screamed he wanted to be father of the year. He slept around with everybody. Nobody was safe
h had the hawts for him so they had a ONS in college. She ends up pregnant. She drops out of her Olympic diving chances.

Now 7 years later, H is looking for a wife (for some goofy reason) and h answers his newspaper ad. *hard eye roll*
He doesn’t even recognize her 😂😂😬 *gasp how embarrassing for her*
She huffs and puffs but gives in.

So they embark on this “soon-to-be-married” relationship and he bonds with the kid. They catch feelings. They have smex. They all (the whole family) flies to Scotland to have the wedding. Before H gets there-‘he’s HIT with everything during a barber shop visit when the boy has the same cowlick and birth mark behind his ear. ☹️☹️ He starts adding things up. Lol hahahhahhahhahahha

H and h have the showdown. She had a legit reason for not telling him in college (which he does eventually agree with her about. He would have been crappy to her) BUT there is no legit reason when they reunited.

None of it matters because they quickly make up and get married.

Oh yeah, h told her future SIL about all this and SIL promised she wouldn’t tell anybody. The kid overheard the SIL telling her husband (who was H’s brother) Fantastic! She’s a liar.
So the kid knew it was his dad. 🤐 (great way to break the news to a 7 year old)

Btw- the 7 year old didn’t sound or act like any 7 year old I know. Maybe 15+

This review is for the entire series. Not just this book, I will put the same review on all four books.

MANY SPOILERS AHEAD

One year husband was the first and honestly my favourite. I ADORED Sterling and Laney. She was such a cool FMC, feisty, not a push over.
And he started off aloof and became a Golden retriever / Dobermann husband for her.
Sterling was also the one who wasn’t a huge playboy before Laney, which I loved.

Bad boy husband was my least favourite. He couldn’t communicate for sh*t and continued to be a man wh*re because he couldn’t tell her he loved her. He was just a coward.
Fortunately it worked out and I liked Sadie and them together in the later books.
But it’s no wonder she didn’t trust him given her experience with him and his reputation.

Playboy husband was my third favourite. I LOVED Maisie and Brody, they were super cool. She was a badass mum and really smart, I loved that.
I think her keeping it from Callum that he was Brody’s dad for so long though was cruel.
I do understand why she did it, but I’m not sure I could have been as forgiving as Callum. Although he did treat her terribly when he found out, but I could understand his reaction.
He did really step up as Brody’s dad. He redeemed himself throughout the whole book. But again was a playbook and it’s no wonder she didn’t think he liked her given he DIDN’T COMMUNICATE, but neither did she.

Holiday husband was honestly a close second or even tied for favourite. Harrison was so emotionally mature and such a sweet guy and so supportive of Aurelia even before they got together.
Aurelia was a badass and so smart. I was annoyed with her near the end but it was understandable.
I’m sad I didn’t get to see a little snippet of them in New York.

Obviously the next series is going to be with Chicago Westwoods (the cousins) and the only sister Charlotte being the FMC with Trent, Sadie’s brother.
Trent is a manwh*re as well, so I don’t know if I will love this one, but we’ll see.

OMGosh!!! Heart beware!! This is the third book of the series and each one is a must read and they keep getting better and better. Callum and his brothers have a wonderful, filthy rich, big family even though dear ole dad insists that they get married when they reach their mid twenties (or soon there after) in order to get their inheritance and part of the family business. It's Callum's turn and he's not too surprised that the time has come. So he puts an ad in the paper thinking he will make it a business transaction which will be good for both parties.
Maisie is a single mom to Brody and knows the time has come that she needs to find a partner and father figure for him. Yep, you guessed it. She answers the ad in the paper and they arrange to meet up. When Maisie gets to the seedy bar that Callum has picked and sees him, she almost runs out. It's the playboy from college that she had a one night affair with which ended her dream of being an Olympic diver because she got pregnant. But Callum doesn't remember her and she never told him.
This story is is full of ups and downs and will have you so emotionally invested in if they will have a happy ending that you won't even consider putting it down. You will cheer them on, cry for and with them and want to knock common sense in them when that needs to happen. This is a GREAT read and Ali has done it again. I can't wait to see what happens to the last brother standing!!

Callum coming from a very wealthy family was told that he had to be married in order to inherit the family business. He had been so tired of dating as well as his family fixing him up that he placed an ad in an unknown newspaper for a wife - contract only. After several days he received a reply and meet up with Maisie.

When Maisie entered the dive bar (all dressed up) she was a bit disappointed. Upon walking up to the table she realized she knew him - a one night stand from her college days who was known as a playboy. He did not remember her at all. After some conversation Maisie left and Callum followed her.

With all the events that took place, Maisie had wanted to tell Callum he was the father of her six year old boy named Brody. And, with all the planning Maisie was never able to tell him as their was one interruption after another.

Finally Callum decided the proper thing to do was to go the Maisie's home town and seek her father's approval for marriage which he had received.

Callum's brother thought rather that a courthouse wedding that he would fly everyone to Scotland to his castle for the wedding. in their private jet's.

With a couple of days left before the wedding Maisie had no choice but to tell Callum the truth. This did not go over well and Maisie stormed out. Her reasons were genuine but Callum was shocked.

An emotional story that will capture your attention right at the beginning. Prepare to lose a little sleep because you won't be able to put it down. Callum and Maisie each had a secret crush on each other in college and had a one night stand where she left the next morning before he woke. She was on the college diving team and an aspiring Olympic contestant until she abruptly left college. Years later she runs into Callum after she answers an ad for a businessman wanting a wife. He was a member of the wealthy Westwood clan and needed a wife to cement his inheritance. What happens when she realizes the person who placed the ad is Callum? What happens when he doesn't recognize her? Who is the father of her son, Brody? I was very angry at her for taking so long to tell Callum the truth about his son. A great story that is heartbreaking at times and heartwarming at others. Callum was a great character and it was inspiring to watch his transformation from a college playboy to a loving father and husband. The story line keeps your interest and the characters are likable. A great read that you will enjoy. I read a free arc via the author and voluntarily chose to review it.

Callum's story completely swept me off my feet! By book three in this series, you'd think the magic might slow down—but Ali Parker proves once again that each brother brings something new, and Playboy Husband just might be my favorite yet. Callum is all charm, arrogance, and unexpected depth, especially when faced with a reality he never saw coming—fatherhood and a second chance at love, all wrapped up in the woman he doesn’t even remember from his past.

Maisie is the kind of heroine you root for from page one—strong, independent, and doing everything she can for her son. The tension when she realizes who Callum really is? So good. You can feel the push and pull between them with every page. Their chemistry is undeniable, but it’s the emotional layers—regret, forgiveness, rediscovered love—that make this story unforgettable.

There were moments that made me laugh, sigh, and even tear up a little. I was hooked from the first meeting in that dive bar to the very last page. Ali Parker writes characters that feel real—flawed, passionate, and worth investing in. And now I need the next book to find out what’s in store for the final brother!

I received an ARC of this book and am sharing my honest opinion.

Callum has been a playboy all his life and has never had a steady girlfriend but in order to stay in the family business he has to settle down. When Callum’s dad tells him it’s time to find a wife or else well he puts an ad in the wanted section of the newspaper. Maisie is a single mom who has moved to San Fransico because of a job and it will allow her to provide a better life for her 7-year-old son. When she sees the ad in the paper, she thinks this would be a way to make sure her son has a stable future. When Callum and Maisie meet, he doesn’t recognize her. She finally tells him who she is but what he doesn’t know he is Brody’s father. How will this story unfold well just read it and find out.
Ali delivers a wonderful second chance romance with all the feels. I really loved Callum and Maisie’s story and sweet Brody is a great addition. This is a must read. I received an arc copy of this book and I am freely leaving my review.

This is the latest book in this series about the Westwood family. This is Callum’s story, he, like his older brothers, has now been given the ultimatum by his father to get married. His life so far since leaving college still Involves ice hockey, and chasing women whenever possible. His approach to his dad’s ultimatum is to put an ad in a more obscure newspaper, to his surprise he gets two responses, and arranges to meet the responders, but gets stood up for the first one, so isn’t holding out much hope for the second meet-up.
Maisie is a single mum to seven year old Brody, she is aware that he is rapidly growing up and needs a male influence. She got pregnant at college and left soon after and didn’t tell anyone, not even the boy involved, that she was pregnant.
How will things progress when Callum and Maisie meet, will she agree to his proposition and what effect would that have on her life? A thoroughly enjoyable read, which I received as an ARC.

Callum and Maisie a perfect mix of humor, steam, angst and secrets! He never wants to get married, have kids, but his father insists on it. Same as his two older brothers he needs to find a wife. It's suppose to be a business arrangement, so he's all good, he thinks. He puts an ad in the business newspaper, thinking that will cut out all the gold diggers he's tried to avoid his whole life. Then along comes Maisie to answer his ad, he hasn't seen her in 8 years. They had a one night stand in college, one of many he had, the college playboy! His best friend reminds him, he actually had a crush on her, she was an Olympic hopeful for diving. Then she just disappeared from the college and he'd never seen or heard from her again until she walked into the bar in answer to his marriage ad. Thank you Ali for an sweet and angsty romance I totally love!

The third book in this series of men who have to get married to keep in line with their family’s wishes and claim their inheritance.
When Callum puts an ad in a local newspaper for a wife, Maisie responds but as soon as she realises it is Callum it all goes down hill.
My heart went out to Maisie but she was certainly playing with fire by withholding such vital information from Callum, I could only see heartache once he found on the truth.
From being a playboy during his college years he eventually realised that he and Maisie had been at college at the same time.
It was certainly a journey if guilt and regrets before they got their HEA.
I love the camaraderie between the boys and how they welcome their brothers new partners wholeheartedly.
Another great story in this series.

Absolutely fabulous book from Ali, yet again. In this store 3, the 3rd brother of the series is now expected to follow along his parents wishes and settle down. Callum has been the major playboy of the family and had been for a while. He decides to go old school with his parents' demand to find a wife and places an ad in an obscure magazine. Maisie is desperate for a male father figure for her son, Brody, because single mom life is hard. She answers Callum's ad, only to realize they've met before.
This is an exquisite 'will they or won't they' romance, complete with a few very big surprises. I was absolutely entranced through the book and couldn't wait for the big ending. I'm looking forward to the 4th brother's story and seeing all the boys and their wives together!

Playboy Husband, book three in the Billionaires Inheritance series follows Callum Westwood, Maisie Morgan and her son Brody. Needing a wife in order to get his inheritance, Callum posts an ad in the paper, fully prepared to have some kind of gold digger, or someone of the sort reply, so he’s almost shocked when Maisie, a curvy single mom, and the one he let get away, replies to the ad. While all Callum wants is a signature on a piece of paper, Maisie wants something real, and a role model for her son. What starts off as just a contract, leads to so much more, as Callum now wants what Maisie wants. Can the playboy really settle for one woman? Or will they end up in a disaster that no one can come back from?

Calum has always been a playboy until his father gives him the Westwood talk. In order to get his inheritance he must settle down, marry and have a child. Both of his older brothers have married and their wives are pregnant and he realizes it is now his time. So he places an ad in the papers classifieds for a wife.
Maisie is a second grade teacher and single mom to a six yr old boy named Brody. She answers the ad thinking this might be a way to find someone to be a male influence for her son, as they just moved to town.
Ali has written a fantastic story, I loved it and the series. The Westwoods are a fun family.
Each book can be read as a standalone.
Pick up a copy and start your journey you won't regret it

Welcome to the third story of the Westwood Dynasty. Being the next in line, Callum’s father issues him the same ultimatum as his two older brothers. The difference is that Callum was the wild one of the brothers. Having matured, Callum’s idea of attracting a future wife is unique when he takes out an ad in a technical paper. He figures that someone more down to earth might respond. Enter Maisie. She comes into the story with a son, Brody. His character is so witty and delightful. Brody has such great repartee with everyone he comes in contact with. This is a fast-paced story that will have you deeply invested in the characters and the warm welcoming of the Westwood Family. Can’t wait for the next book in the series.

Pretty good but a bit slow in the beginning. The story is almost 400 pages and I love long reads but I prefer stories that grab me from the first page and get my interest. Overall it’s a good read but I struggled at the start. The story stars Maisie and Callum. Calum is told by his dad it’s time to find a wife period or else. His days of being a playboy are over. Maisie is a single mom who moved to San Fransisco for work. She has a 7-year-old son, Brody, to provide for. She sees an add Callum father places and wants a good life for her son so she decides to check it out. It when they first meet, he doesn’t recognize her. She finally tells him who she is but not that he’s her son’s father.

This is the third book - I loved the first, missed the second, read the third and so far have loved every moment of both the books. You can read as a standalone or as the series. This is the story of the third Westwood son, Callum, and Maisie - a page turner and hard to put down. the story of a single mom realising that her son needs a father figure an a playboy who needs a wife. Callum puts an advert in the wanted section of the newspaper, Maisie figuring she has nothing to lose responds. They both get more than they expected or bargained for... No spoilers, you need to read how the sparks fly - you will not be disappointed.

Maise was supposed to be an Olympic diving champion. Brilliant and driven…until a one night stand derails her plans. Almost 8 years later, she answers a crazy personal ad for a businessman seeking a wife. When she shows up to meet him, the billionaire in question turns out to be Callum, her one night stand and father of her son.

The two of them fit together so perfectly when they weren’t butting heads and letting misunderstandings get in the way. I loved their little family with Brody, and how he so easily accepted Callum’s role in his life on and off the ice.

I can’t wait for the next book in this series and Harrison’s turn to be taken down by an arranged marriage.

This book was an enjoyable read, despite its slow start, it's about the relationship which develops between Msisie and Callum when she answers his advertisement for a wife! She was shocked when they met, as they have a history of sorts, and he's the father of her child. A child born following a one-night stand they had when she was still in college. Should she tell him straight away?

The characters were well developed, but I did think Callum was slow to realise that Brody was his son. I mean, other people noticed that Brody and he had so many similarities.

I read an ARC of this book and am voluntarily writing my review.

Maisie and Callum met in college. He was on the hockey team and she was a competitive swimmer. They spent one night together and that ended up with a secret. Callum's wants all his son's married and it is Callum's turn. He places an ad. Maisie answers the ad. Contracts are signed. There is a 7 year old boy to consider. Ali does it best when she weaves her story with good character and story details. Do Maisie, Brody and Callum get their happy ever after? Guess you need to read it to see.

This is another Ali Parker fantastic second chance, secret baby, marriage demand, and hidden crushes. Maisie and Callum have a history that is eventually revealed in a honest heart wrenching way. Maisie is a single mother to a six year old son, Brody. The way Maisie and Callum reconnect is unique and kept me reading. This story has some very interesting characters, touching moments, and revelations every reader saw coming🤭🤭! This is a very good book.

This Bookfunnel ARC is an excellent story.

This is book 3 in this series, and like the other 2 is a rollercoaster ride. Callum, like his brothers previously has to get married to receive his inheritance. Unlike his brothers he puts an add in the paper, hoping to make the "arranged marriage" a business transaction.
Maisie is a single mother, who had found herself pregnant after a 1 night stand in collage and wants to find a father figure for her son Brody.... as I said, rollercoaster ride. Although this can be read as a standalone, I suggest reading the others.

This s a second chance romance between Maisie and Callum, who had a one night stand in college. These flawed but likeable souls and the unique plot make for an enjoyable read. What starts out as a business arrangement turns into something more. Once they reconnect, it is a bumpy ride with drama and steam, sexual tension and chemistry, family dynamic, twists and turns, plus appealing secondary characters. Seriously entertaining.

This compelling story had me glued to the playboy with commitment issues and the woman looking for stability for her son. Neither expected that when they come face to face with each other it will unleash their past in an emotional reaction when Callum comes face to face with the boy he didn't know he had fathered. It is a great book filled with emotional drama along with two heartwarming characters that I enjoyed connecting with.

Callum is the third brother in the billionaire Westwood family to receive the "get married or lose your inheritance" ultimatum from their father. He takes the practical route and puts an ad in the paper for a wife. Maisie, the woman who answers his ad has slept with him once before, but he does not immediately recognize her since he was such a manwhore in college. This is a great book with a few interesting plot twists that everyone will enjoy.

Playboy Callum father told him he needs a wife or else he placed an ad in newspaper. Maisie a single mother answered his ad. They had a one night stand in college and then she disappeared. Living together and spent so much time together let to feelings starting to grow. Will Callum be able to commit, what will happen when he find out who is the father of Maisie's son. This is a fantastic story one that I couldn't put down until the last page. Definitely a must read.
