I'm giving Cyan Michaels' Secrets Between Us a solid four stars. This book grabbed me right from the first chapter. The tension revolves entirely around the marriage between Amy and her husband, Craig, and the title is absolutely perfect—their life is built on a foundation of secrets, and I spent the entire time wondering whose lies were worse. I loved the domestic thriller aspect of it. Michaels does a fantastic job of building suspense; every interaction felt layered with hidden meaning, and I found myself constantly trying to piece together what Amy was truly hiding and what Craig might know or be hiding himself. The pacing was fast, making it a proper page-turner. The only reason I didn't give it five stars is that I felt one specific plot thread tied up just a little too quickly in the final act. But overall, if you're looking for a sharp, compelling look into a marriage unraveling under pressure, you definitely need to pick this one up!.
