Asher Wilson has never felt like he belonged anywhere. He's never felt loved unconditionally, truly wanted, nor needed. He has no idea what to do with his life, nor where to go when the last of his family abandons him. In a last ditch effort to find guidance of some kind, Asher finds himself in an old abandoned church in the middle of the woods...but he's not alone.
Elijah Crawford finds refuge in the same abandoned church, riddled with guilt for the acts of bloodshed he has been forced into for the last decade. Not by someone, but by something. A dark urge within himself to see how people cut and ooze. He doesn't want to kill, he just wants to watch the blood drip, feel it under his hands, taste it in his mouth... In a decade he has yet to find a willing participate.
Until now.
One desperate to feel desired; the other aching for a subject to worship.

I'm a 29 year old erotic romance Indie Author residing in Michigan, which is also where I like to set most of my stories. I adore alternative fashion and vegging out to early 2000's pop-rock. When I'm not passionately plotting, drafting, or editing, I'm usually playing games, making covers or watching cheesy romantic dramas.
*I write books under the pen names, Dae Storm, D.M Winters and Darling Day. AKA D, D & D. I am however phasing out D.M. Winters.
How I rate the books I read:
I'm rarely unhappy with a book and very rarely rate books under 4 stars. I'm very easy to please.
If I DNF a book due to personal preference, I will NOT rate it at all. I only rate DNF's that were not finished due to serious editing/grammatical issues and/or prejudice content.
This is how I rate things:
1 Star: I had to DNF due to serious editing and/or prejudice issues.
2 Stars: I finished the book but did not like it due to serious editing and/or prejudice issues, but it had some redeeming qualities.
3 Stars: It was a solid read, but didn't draw me in as much as I'd have preferred. OR I enjoyed the concept and story but there was serious editing issues of some kind that pulled me from enjoying it as much as I might have otherwise.
4 Stars: I really really liked the book, and would likely read again, but only after finishing up my TBR.
5 Stars: I LOVED this book and will be reading it again, probably soon. Probably already rereading it.
The majority of my ratings are 4 or 5 stars, because as stated previously, I know what I like to read and am easy to please.
The premise for this novella was just so for me. A lovely man that has no one in his corner and wants someone to worship him and a man that is compelled to torture and making people bleed that is looking for someone to play with is just everything my dreams as made off and let me tell you it played off because this was just so fun.
This was such a fun and interesting premise. Someone who just absolutely wants to be worshipped and desired meets someone who never finds someone who will let him worship the way he wants. It's short and super steamy and just such a fun addition to this collection
