this was an excellent story, well written, richly detailed with an amazing complex plot. Rebecca is a young virgin woman living in poverty working hard but barely scraping by while her identical twin sister Jessica gambled, drinks, and lives a life of debauchery. She runs up incredible debts everywhere then begs rebecca for help but she has no money so takes off leaving rebecca at risk. One night filling in for jessica at her job pretending to be her she meets Vitto a cold violent ruthless mafia boss. she ends up giving him her virginity then sneaking away next morning. vitto is desperate to find her because she calms his psycho side but thinks shes jessica so when he finds the real jessica and makes her sign a marriage contract he can't believe the change. jessica bullies rebecca into marrying vitto in her place and again he can't figure out how she's so different again. jessica continues to put rebecca at risk with her selfish uncaring behaviour and rebecca is torn between falling love with vitto and fearing discovery. dangerous events happen rebecca discovers she's pregnant with twins but once more jessica's disgusting behaviour puts her at risk this time it might mean the death of her and her unborn babies. vitto must rush to figure out why it seems like his wife is two very different ppl and to discover where his wife is and save her before its too late esp when he accidentally discovers she's carrying his twins. and betrayal and danger is much closer than anyone knows. someone is out to make sure vitto doesn't survive and also knows the secret that the twins have been changing places and identities and he's out to kill vitto and take rebecca and the babies for his own. jessica finally sees what her behaviour has done to rebecca and that she and her babies might die because of her.

Meh - the insta-love was kinda silly.

She meets him for the first time at a near-robbery scene where she's working and instantly goes back to his place and gives her virginity to a total stranger

And if that isn't enough, he's instantly in love with her and she's the only one that can calm him down even though he's never said more than a couple words to her

And then the best part is when he's like - I will punish you with luxury, wealth and everything you want. Ummm, what?!

And I just another annoying part - there is absolutely no reason for the twin switch either time.
1. There is no explanation given why she wears a wig and colord contacts. like - WTF
2. Then her superficial, gold digger sister doesn't want to marry some super rich dude and makes her sister switch. The wedding would've been a dream come true for Jessica.
3. Then Jessica lies about being pregnant with his kid but that lie never gets brought up again
4. Then he actually calls her Rebecca when he comes out of the warehouse - guessing this is an author typo
5. And how would Rebecca really be that dumb she thinks he fell in love with her sister andthat her sister is pregnant.

This book was just too dumb to be interesting

Switched Bride

When Jessica gets in trouble it is always her twin Rebecca who switches places to get her out of it. However, crossing Vitto does go as as anticipated when he asks for marriage. This complicated weave of events sets in motion more than just love and danger. It was an entertaining read that kept me invested until the end.

Get ready to be trapped reading this romance book the entire day. I found that once I started to dive into the storyline I was hooked. Don't let this book slip past you because it is a very very good read. This is a 5-star read.
