When Mom’s new fiancé suggests a weekend camping trip to “bond” with his future stepson, neither of them expects just how close they’ll get under the stars. Tension. Curiosity. One shared tent. And secrets that were never supposed to be created.
He wanted a connection—he just didn’t expect this kind.
A forbidden age-gap MM romance between a man trying to bury the past, and the one person who makes him feel alive.
Ella Kit is a writer of LGBTQA+ romance novels who loves giggling and kicking her feet over charming characters, crying happy tears over love declarations, and celebrating those hard-earned happily-ever-afters.
Through her stories, she brings to life heartfelt romances that dive deep into love, growth, and self-discovery.
When Ella isn’t writing, you can find her reading, exploring new adventures, and chatting with readers who adore sweet love stories as much as she does.
So, context: Brad is 38, engaged to Noah’s mother. They go on a camping trip “for bonding,” and apparently Noah’s sassy, bratty behaviour is a massive turn-on—because less than 24 hours after meeting, this happens:
“Before I can think any further, I clasp my hand around his neck, draw him in, and press my lips to the ones I’ve been dying for since we got here.”
Wait… why not let it breathe for a few days? A bit more time to build the tension, to see attraction simmer and evolve, especially since Brad is questioning his sexuality and battling guilt while essentially cheating on his fiancée with her son (yum, but still complicated). Instead, we get kisses and full rubbing in under a day.
That said, the smut is hot af—no complaints there.
I think my main issue with Ella’s books is the disconnect between concept and execution. The tropes and blurbs are chef’s kiss—the aesthetics, the quotes—they lure you in. But the execution? It often feels rushed or unrealistic. Where’s the tension? The slow burn? Insta-lust can work in lighter plots, but here, with the weight of potential drama, it falls flat.
At times, the story felt like a soap opera: very predictable, angst-for-the-sake-of-angst, especially with the baby subplot and the revelation at the end. Jesus, Vee was… a horrid character.
Overall, this was okay. I’m grateful to Ella for the ARC, but this kind of intense trope and relationship really needs more build-up, more tension. The love story here should have felt real, earned, and like it could last—and it didn’t quite reach that.
This was my 3rd ARC read for the year and i swear so far all of my ARC reads have been amazing 🤩 I am not sure what these Authors are eating but wow congratulations Ella Kit you really did a good job!
I love Brad and Noah’s story, definitely insta lust to love and very Spicy 🌶️ 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️ it was a quick read so of you are the type of reader looking dor something with a good forbidden Romance to cleanse your pallet I highly recommend this !!!
Tropes you can expect •MM •Insta love •Mine •Forbidden Romance •Age Gap •Stepdad •Bi-Awakening
This book is pure “oh it’s forbidden? Then it’s even hotter” energy. The camp setting at the beginning, the same tent, the same sleeping bag, the same air between them… The tension presses on your veins from the very first moment. It doesn’t rise slowly — it creeps up on you and then suddenly it’s everywhere.🫠
The attraction between them isn’t some casual “we locked eyes and moved on.” It’s bottled-up desire, denial, guilt, and unbearable physical chemistry all mixed together. And that fear + wanting combination? That’s what destroyed me in the best way. Brad running from himself but not being able to run from Noah… Noah being more aware yet emotionally more exposed… Their dynamic is exactly that “push me away but don’t let me go” vibe. This isn’t sweet romance. This is chaotic. A little forbidden. A little addictive.🥵🥵🥵
When they’re together, they burn. When they’re apart, they fall apart. And those ups and downs make the whole thing intensely fiery🫠 . The tension is high. The chemistry is high. The emotions are messy.🫠🥵
If you love secret relationships, suppressed identity, desire mixed with fear, and couples who keep breaking apart only to crash back into each other… this book lives in that “I know it’s wrong but I can’t let you go” feeling. And let me be honest… the energy between these two? Very spicy. 🔥
I mean talk about a forbidden and messy time this book was! Noah and Brad definitely went on a wild journey, so much push and pull, tension, will they won’t they make it type of vibes and especially with the loops you’re thrown for…WOW! I loved the spice, the light dom vibes, public sex, and overall much spicier and more detailed compared to CMIYC and I was HERE FOR IT! The plot, I liked the pieces- I just wish that it had arranged differently, if that makes sense so that way the forbidden nature could have been top tier!
The character development- I would have liked to see a bit more depth, Brad and Noah seem like more complex characters and I wish we got to see more of their layers. For me, all the elements were there and if it had been arranged differently and had spent a bit more time in the depths of the characters this easily would have been 5 ⭐️. Otherwise, I still had a great, messy, drama filled, and forbidden spicy time with this one!!
When Ella announced she was releasing a forbidden, age-gap, secret love, soft dom/sub romance, I knew immediately that I had to read it. All my favorite tropes in one book? Sign me up! 🤩
When Noah is forced to go on a ‘bonding’ camping trip with his soon to be step-dad things get heated real Quick. Brad, engaged to Noah’s mother, finds himself in a tough position when Noah brings out feelings he never knew he could have.❣️
Unable to ignore their connection any longer, they decide to stop hiding from what they feel. But just when they think they’ve figured things out, they return home to a secret that changes everything…
This book was filled with secret hookups, insta lust, ‘ i want to be with you ‘ and heartbreak. 💔 My heart went out to Noah, who just wanted to be loved. And Brad for wanting to choose his own happiness but didn’t know how…
A really good read! 🤍 Check TW , cheating is a big part of the plot. But it’s fiction, and i was here for all of it 🥵🤭
It’s hard to believe this is my first Ella Kit book — and it definitely won’t be my last. This story had several of my favorite tropes: age gap, cheating, bi awakening, and forced proximity, which made it an easy win for me.
Brad and Noah had chemistry from the very beginning, and that camping trip? Whew. The spice absolutely delivered. I especially loved the soft dom/sub dynamic — it added such a compelling layer to their relationship.
The angst and emotional back-and-forth in the middle of the book created a delicious tension that kept me completely hooked. What really stood out, though, was how they made each other feel truly seen. The vulnerability they shared felt genuine and beautifully written. Their connection and the development of the relationship after the camping trip was my favorite part of the story.
I had my suspicions about Noah’s mom and Brad’s best friend early on, so it was incredibly satisfying to watch everything fall into place by the end.
This was an ARC read for me that i was super excited for and it did not disappoint. I absolutely loved it, I completely fell in love with Brad and Noah and ended up binging the book in one night. Ella Kit is such an amazing writer!! This book was absolutely perfect: super spicy, great plot and really satisfying character development. ❤️❤️🥰 Highly recommend!! Easily one of my new favorite recent reads!
"Bonded to You" by Ella Kit is a taboo M/M romance following a man and his fiance's son. There's an age gap, D/S undertones, a spin on the "one bed" trope, and lots of gushy bonding moments.
Noah isn't looking forward to spending the weekend with his mom's fiance, Brad to "bond", but once out in the wilderness they start to discover a connection that neither of them expected.
Ratings: Overall: 5/5 hearts - It's a beautiful romance between two men with plenty of obstacles between them. What's not to love?
Peppers: 5/5 - This is a spicy romance! Roughly 40-50% of this book is spice and I'm not mad about it.
Spice: 5/5 - Fantastic spice that is emotional and fun and forbidden. I loved the little D/S undertones, but then again I'm a sucker for a "good boy".
Plot: 5/5 - At its core, this book is a romance. That's the plot and that's what a reader is picking this book up for.
Some of the twists are expected, but not because they're cliche but because the author does an amazing job of dropping little hints here and there. Which makes those twists feel real and plausible.
The writing is great and it has that "melt into your brain" quality that I like. Where it doesn't even feel like reading so much as just having a story beamed into your brain like star trek. There's no odd sentences or weird word choices to pull you out of the zone, it all just flows so nicely.
And my final little addition under plot would be my love of the characters. They just felt REAL. They were messy in a human way instead of a manufactured "for the plot" way.

*I did receive an ARC of this book. However, this review is 100% honest and voluntary*

Felt so lucky to be chosen for this ARC by the wonderful Ella Kit! This story of Noah and Brad had me hooked from the start. The pacing of the writing is perfection and Kit does not leave to waiting long for exactly what you are craving on the next page. The forbidden love story between these two men (age gap) is one that is undeniably perfect. Noah, a young man set in his stubborn ways driven by fear of the past and Brad, a man troubled by his desire to love you he truly wants to but feeling abandoned. These two take you on a roller coaster that has the ending you truly desire.
Kit writes her spice with such class, fun and beauty. Her spice is filled with love as well as playfulness and is just the perfect balance for the romance that it is driven by.
*spoiler* If I could give this 4.5 stars I would! The only part that kept this from 5 stars for me were a few moments with Brad where I wanted to yell at him.
Brad continuing to say that Noah was “running” from him became frustrating after a little while because I felt that Noah was respecting himself because Brad wasn’t taking the steps he needed to follow through on his word. Although a difficult position for Brad, being a father and engaged, I gained respect for Noah when he walked away after a few times because he was in a position that was asking a lot of him….stay and wait while he watches the man he loves be engaged to his mother and the father of her newborn.
In the end, they found their way but boy did I want to shake them at times!!!
This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.
So let’s be honest. I only went into this book because it was forbidden romance written by Ella Kit. When I opened the book and read the warnings I started to get slightly concerned. It contained a couple things that normally give me icks in books. However, I knew I had to give it a shot and boy was it worth it. I laughed, I cried (happy tears), I just felt and that’s what I look for with a good book. Feeling. Books that make me feel the emotions the characters are feeling. Ella’s writing does just that.
Noah, my sweet, closed off baby. I loved him so much. I couldn’t stand him at first but once he opened up and you got to know more about him he pulled all the heart strings. I loved the way he wore his heart on his sleeve once he let his walls down. He had so much love to give and when he found the right person it was clear he would be the best partner and version of himself he could be. (Also his relationship with Paislee, TOO CUTE)
Brad was utter perfection from the jump. That man could do no wrong in my eyes. I love the way he cared, the way he worked so hard to break down Noah’s walls, and the way he tried to do the right thing even when it was killing him. He was so good for Noah and vice versa. He worked so hard to provide for his family and be the best version of himself.
The development of a relationship between these two was heartbreaking but oh so worth it. They turned into such a strong and loving pair. I can’t even put into words how much they mean to me. Love them endlessly.
Ella...girl I'm mad it took me this long to find you!!!!!!
Listen. Forbidden? Age gap? Forced proximity in the woods with only one tent and a whole lot of tension? I was locked in!!!!
This story takes that “bonding trip” setup and sets it on fire. hehe What starts as awkward step-family territory turns into something intense and filthy. The chemistry between Noah and Brad is immediate, but it’s not just heat for the sake of heat. It’s longing. It’s confusion. It’s two people circling something they absolutely should not touch… and touching it anyway.
And Noah? That boy has my whole heart. Under the attitude of a bad boy is someone who just wants to be chosen. You feel his fear of being left. You feel how badly he wants to be seen. Every time he pushed, it felt like a test. Every time Brad softened, it felt like a crack in a dam.
The soft D/s undertones added such a delicious layer to their dynamic. It wasn’t overpowering, just enough to show how they balanced each other. The spice absolutely delivered, but what really got me was the vulnerability. When they finally stop fighting what’s between them, it feels earned.
My only reason for not giving a full five stars is that there were moments I wanted just a little more emotional unpacking near the end. MAKE ME CRY!!!!!!!!!!!! But overall I devoured this book. It’s messy, tender, taboo, and surprisingly heartfelt.
*I received this arc from the author, all thoughts are my own*
I absolutely devoured this book. I loved every second of it. This was my first book by Ella and I now need to go back and read her other books because as emotional this was, th happily ever after was everything for me.
Brad and Noah had me sucked in from the first page all the way to the end. I knew bratty Noah was going to be a fun and wild time. I love me a good forbidden romance. Brad is with Noah’s mom and I knew it was going to be a whirlwind when one of the tropes was cheating. I’ve read a few books but this is probably one of my favorites, especially to how it was captured.
I really loved the spice scenes as they dirty but they were intimate once you got all in with these two. I absolutely loved the truck scenes an the sneaking around because I swore someone was going to walk in on them.
And can we talk about adorable Paislee because she had everyone wrapped around her little fingers. Even when Noah returned home, she made him smile so much.
The little twist that we find out… I just knew something else was happening… I just knew it!
Also, I just love how the camping trip was what started these two from bonding. They brought out sides of each other that they never knew was there. Without the other, they just felt incomplete and when they were together, it was stunning and beautiful.
I received a copy of this audiobook and this is my honest review.
What happens when an angry, slightly broken boy gets thrown together with a soft hearted man that wants to be needed and understood? They each find their missing half. If only the puzzle went together that easily.
Noah and Brad put me through the emotional ringer! My heart broke for both of them, so many times. Noah's natural reaction to run before people disappoint him and leave. Brad's need to do "the right thing", and protect himself. Communication and patience is not their strong point...well, with words anyway. If all problems could be solved with stolen kisses, hot touches and spicy moments- life would be so much easier.
Throughout their story you watch them grow as people, suffer loss, turn away from the people they need and want the most. One of the biggest themes that hit me was that they had to learn to love themselves before they could love another person. They meant facing some hard truths, and sharing them. Learning to be vulnerable and trust that your person will be there to catch you.
Ella Kit has done it again! She gifted us characters that we want to cheer for and love and a story that instantly pulls us in! I will honestly say I read Bonded To You in one sitting. I couldn't put it down, and I really didn't want to! Please make sure to check the trigger warnings in the front before jumping in.
Brad and Noah were *chefs kiss*! the dynamic between these two was addicting. i love a good forbidden romance book and this one had me wishing i could read faster than i do, because damn was i invested! seriously thought about skipping sleep to finish it last night!! Ella knows how to reel you in and keep you interested until the very end.
at first, stepdaddy Brad seems like he’s just the nice guy trying to get to know his girlfriends son. but in comes Noah, with his bratty attitude and piercings that Brad can’t look away from, and things get complicated. when a camping trip between the two has both of their worlds turning upside down, they decide that maybe *this* could become something more .. until a giant ‘surprise’ is dropped on them when they get back home and that daydream shatters.
this is one of my fave reads so far this year!!
if you’re into the following, check it out!:
🏕️ age gap (16 yrs) 🏕️ forced proximity 👬🏻 🏕️ forbidden love (stepdad-to-be x fiancées son) 🏕️ spicy af 🌶️ 🏕️ “we shouldn’t do this” to “uhh yeah we’re doing this” to “we can’t do this anymore” to “f*ck it WE ARE DOING THIS” 🏕️ JEALOUS MC!! 🏕️ mary jane smokin MC 🍃 🏕️ dom/sub
I was given this Arc to read by Ella. This book starts off spicy 🥵. What meant to be a bonding experience with Noah mom’s fiancé Brad on a camping trip. Noah is a little Brat testing Brads patience in every single way. Brad is trying his best to get to know Noah for the sake of his mom. And boy oh boy did they bond alright. Noah starts off by messing with Bard giving him a lot of shit lol. He sees right through Brad. Brad is a straight up good man, he’s trying his best. But he’s also not living his full truth. Noah starts peeling layers after layers until Brad finally breaks. Brad has an instant connection with Noah that he can’t deny no matter how hard he tries. All he wanted was a true connection with someone. Noah is a loner he feels that everyone leaves him but he also has this connection with Brad. No spoilers this book contains cheating not my the MC’s Noah and Brad are fighting hard to stay away from each other. But the inevitable happens they fall hard for each other. This book is spicy 🥵 This story is raw feelings are hurt but love concurs all. If you ever read Ella’s books you know that she will put you through the wringer. Noah & Brad journey is a total roller coaster ride so strap in and enjoy the ride.
"For some reason, being around Noah has stirred up thoughts inside of me that I've desperately tried to shove down my entire life. Buried. Or so I thought." - Brad🔥
Okay, where do I even begin..? I had such high hopes when I applied to this one and I was just sooo excited when I saw that I got accepted as an ARC-reader! 🤯❤️ And let me tell you.. Reading it didn't make me any less excited because OMG!!! This is so freaking good it should be illegal!!!!😍😍
The love between these two, the gentle but dominant and the sneaking around because of the forbidden side of it.. Jesus.. I'm ALL for it! (And all the spice!!! Don't forget about all that delicious spice🥵) This had everything that a book like this should have and I don't know which of the men I fell for the most🥹❤️
I got a little worried when going from part one to part two in the book (NO SPOILERS!) because that was one hell of a game changer but I just couldn't put this book down😭 It's so beautiful and delicious at the same time and I don't know what to do with myself now that it's done. I'll miss these guys soo much❤️❤️
Love me a good forbidden romance, and this one delivers in every aspect. Emotions, angst, and high-heat moments.
Brad only wanted to meet his new fiancé’s son, and what better than going camping to get to know each other. He did not expect to find Noah interesting and actually spend quality time with him. Noah doesn’t like meeting and connecting with any of his mom's boyfriends, so why is Brad different? Well, he slowly starts opening up and sees Brad in a new light and with interest.
These two had moments filled with tension and banter that went from annoyance to heated frustration. In this short trip, they were able to connect in a way they never imagined, and adding the compromise position of how they are meeting is not something easy to give in to, but this newly developed feeling is something hard to ignore.
There are high and low moments for these characters, and what I like about it is that it handles all topics in an appropriate way. You can feel all the emotional moments they are going through and some choices that can frustrate you, but at the end it makes you understand how the characters were feeling that led to making it in the first place.
The love these two feel for each other can be seen in so many aspects of their relationship. Regardless of the circumstances in which they met and the timing, they were meant for each other.
Love that they, in the process, were also able to find their true identity in themselves and accept it.
So glad that after a tumultuous path they were able to get their HEA.
𝗪𝗛𝗔𝗧 𝗧𝗢 𝗘𝗫𝗣𝗘𝗖𝗧: 🌲Age Gap (16 years) 🏕️ Forbidden Love (Stepfather-to-be x Fiancee’s Son) 🌲Secret Romance 🏕️ Instalust 🌲Soft Dom / Sub Vibes
Bonded to You had me hooked from the first chapter all the way until the end. This was an emotional rollercoaster with twists and turns that kept me from putting it down for more than a few minutes.
The chemistry between Brad and Noah was PALPABLE. And that tension remained throughout the entire book. Their banter was entertaining and sexy with Noah pushing Brad’s buttons and Brad being unable to keep his cool when it comes to Noah’s cheekiness. Brad and Noah’s love ran deep and rang true. They were a perfect match.
I don’t want to spoil any of the major plot lines or give away any important points of conflict, but I have to add, as a parent, the ending just didn’t sit right with me. I don’t think it took away from overall enjoyability or anything.
I thoroughly enjoyed this love story and its angst and pining and all the amazing spice! I can’t wait to read more from this author!
**I received an ARC and this is my honest review.**
What started out as a camp trip to bond with his fiancée's son turned into a weekend that rocked Brad's world in a way he never saw coming. All Brad has ever wanted was a connection. He thought he could have it with his fiancée, however, when he meets Noah, every cell of his being is immediately drawn to him. Noah is chaotic, life has never been the same since his dad died when he was a teenager. He has a volatile relationship with his mother and is just floating through life. Never could he imagine a forced camping experience would result in a want so powerful he can't fathom a life without Brad in it. Trying to return to some sort of normalcy after an unforgettable weekend where hopes, dreams and a plan to be together is turned upside down when a surprise that changes everything waits for them. Even with distance and separation the passion Noah and Brad have for each other is once again ignited and the question remains are they destined to be together or will life tear them apart for good? Another amazing book by Ella!! This book is full of high heat, heart break, emotion and so much tension, you will be captivated from the very first page.
I can’t even put into words how much I had been waiting for this book — and now that I’ve read it, how much I looooved it!!!
Brad and Noah were incredibly lovable characters, and even though their relationship started on pretty rocky ground, I adored every single minute of it. Their chemistry was insane, especially because of the tension and the contrasts between them.
If I absolutely had to describe them, I’d say that when they were together, they set everything on fire — and when they weren’t, they were the ones burning to ashes.
Their journey to the HEA was anything but easy. There was guilt, secrecy, lies, long, aching yearning for each other… cheating (not between them), and just when I felt like “okay, okay, finally!” Ella stepped in again and said: no, baby, not yet!
While reading this book, I literally experienced every possible emotion. Laughter, tears, anxiety, frustration — truly everything.
Ella, I’m so grateful for this book, for writing it, and for letting me once again be part of your ARC team. I truly hope I’ll be able to follow and support many more of your releases in the future.
I remember when this story was first being crafted on Ella’s patreon and I remember devouring each new chapter as it came out thinking it was just going to be a spicy short story and when it was announced as a full length novel I was so excited and ran to sign up for an arc!
This book is incredible. Yes it’s got flawed characters and some messy situations but that’s how life is.
A quote that really stuck with me is “it’s…saying goodbye to a version of myself that I’ve always known” this quote really hits the nail on the head for me with character development and changing and growing as people. We’re constantly morphing into new versions of ourselves and it’s sometimes scary leaving behind that old version. As a gay man this really hit home because when queer people come out they decide to leave old versions behind and it’s so scary.
Anyway I loved Noah and Brad and this story was not only so deep and meaningful but it was so spicy 🌶️
Thank you Ella for this ARC and I cannot wait for the rest of the world to read it! Out 3/3/26!
I absolutely LOVED this book. From the very first chapter, I was hooked! The tension and chemistry was immediate, and the emotional depth had me fully invested, I could not put this book down! I fully lost sleep so I could keep reading lol, it is a MASTERPIECE! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
The angst? Perfectly done. The spice? Top tier. The forbidden energy? Chef’s kiss.
What really stood out to me was how layered the story felt. It wasn’t just romance it had heart, complexity, and moments that genuinely made me pause and feel everything alongside the characters.m
Ella’s writing is so immersive and addictive. She has this way of building emotion and tension that makes it impossible to look away. This is one of those books I’ll 100% be rereading because it left that much of an impact. If you love high tension, strong chemistry, and a story that keeps you completely invested from start to finish, do not miss this one!
Forbidden love Insta lust Forced proximity Secret romance Age gap Bi-awakening
-In a world full of fakeness and pretending, the minute you find someone who feels real, you’ve got to hold on to them-
Just what I need it! Bonded to you is not only super hot with great spice but also a tender story about awakening and forbidden love ( my fav tropes).. I really enjoyed everything about it and I devoured it in lit one day!
Sometimes I tend to favor an MMC hahah but in this case I really loved them both even tho at times I wanted to just yell at them like dude just talk to each other but all the tension 🥵 it was soo worth it, plus I loved the writing and the character growth so proud of my sweet sassy Noah
*check TW, even tho is not a dark romance it was tropes and topics that can be an issue for some
Thank you Ella for an opportunity to read this arc. This is my honest review
Noah is kinda forced by his mom to go on a camping trip with his soon to be Step dad , Brad. Noah, the chaotic angel he is , forgot his camping gear in hopes of getting out of this thing. Brad is not having it and offers Noah to sleep in his tent and share a sleeping bag.
Both men actually enjoy each others company and things get really hot and heated 🥵
When they return home , Brad is ready to change his life , but things take a drastic turn once they arrive ! Will both men actually be able to make it work? Or is this the end before if even properly started?!
Ella , you beautiful genius ! You wrote yet another beautiful book full of emotion, heartbreak and second chances and i am obsessed 🩷 couldn’t put it down, the feelings in this one were heavy and real, and the spice ?!! Hot damn they were kinky 🥵🥵
First off this is an ARC review: It ate and left no crumbs. Not a single moment in this book where I wasnt locked in. The dynamics were 🥵
Tropes: Age Gap Dom/sub dynamics Forbidden love Step Dad to be x Fiancees son 😏🤭 One tent 😏 Forced proximity Jealous MMC 😏😏 SPICY 🌶️ 🥵 like omg
Brad & Noah were just perfect. You got bratty Noah all tattooed and pierced hating on his “soon to be step daddy” ready to give him hell on a forced camping trip..then you got Daddy Brad who starts out seeming sweet until the camping trip flips everything upside in his world. Things only get more complicated as they return to their lives outside of camping. Ups and downs hate and love. Also a plot that has you NEEDING the next page. I couldnt stop, at one point in the read I had to pause and it was all I could think about.
You know those books where, if you have to put it down, it never really leaves your mind? You’re thinking about the characters, replaying scenes, and counting the minutes until you can pick it back up again? That was Bonded to You by Ella Kit for me.
This story absolutely sucked me in. Noah and Brad’s connection, their struggles, and the way their relationship unfolds had me completely hooked. I couldn’t get enough of them, and I was fully invested in everything they were going through.
When I reached the end, I was genuinely sad it was over I just wanted more time with these two and their story. That’s always the sign of a great book for me. I loved everything about it and would absolutely recommend it.
I received an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.
“One tent. One sleeping bag. One weekend. One man who is about to be your STEPDAD.” I’m sorry???? EXCUSE ME?????
Bounded to You by Ella Kit really said “let’s ruin your morals and your sleep schedule at the same time.” The tension started immediately. I was reading the first few chapters like 🫣 because you know this is about to get messy. And then it just kept escalating. The forced proximity? Insane. The chemistry? Actually ridiculous. The spice? Oh it was absolutely spicing 🥵 And then out of nowhere it would hit you with soft, vulnerable moments that made everything feel way too real. Noah and Brad had me stressed, blushing, and lowkey emotionally invested when I did NOT plan on being that attached. It’s forbidden. It’s angsty. It’s tender in ways you don’t expect. Basically I went from “this is wild” to “wait… I care about them” real fast If you love messy dynamics, heavy tension, and romance that balances heat with actual feelings…
Bonded To You – Ella Kit ⭐⭐⭐⭐ This book surprised me. I started it while in a reading slump with no real expectations and ended up finishing it in under four hours. The strongest element is the tension. The emotional push-and-pull between the characters drives the story, and the forbidden/forced proximity dynamic keeps the pacing tight. The chemistry is consistent, and the angst feels intentional rather than overdone. The happy ending felt satisfying and necessary after the emotional buildup. Overall, it’s a compelling romance with solid spice and strong emotional momentum. Spice level: 🌶️🌶️🌶️
First time reading Ella Kit books, and just with the first few chapters I'm hooked!! Brad is so unsure and Noah just being sassy I love it!! How the tension becomes a kinda fuck it moment and just go with it! Then the way these two just come together and never want it to stop!
Brad and Noah are forced to bond over weekend camping trip. Noah and Brad are cut off by new from Noah's Mom, Brad's gf/fiance. Can they come back from this with the connection or will it be broken. Find out read Bonded to you.
Is it possible to punch a side character cause please let me at them!!
I really enjoyed this one! I was unashamedly rooting for Brad and Noah from chapter one because their banter and chemistry immediately had me hooked, especially with that ongoing “will they, won’t they” tension throughout the book. I also really loved seeing the contrast in how Brad portrayed himself when he was with Noah versus when he wasn’t. That was written so well.
