you know when somehow a book finds you at exactly the right time with the right message for you? this was that book for me ❤️
i truly loved all of Sarah Cowan’s poems in this poetry collection. you get a mix of grief, love, toxicity, and more that just emanates directly from the pages even if you didn’t live those exact moments, her words make you feel like you did and i think it was really beautiful 🥰
this is by a local author and if you haven’t read any poetry before i recommend as an intro to it as a genre :)

A poetry collection that leans into the pain of grief after a major loss. Broken into four parts — embracing change, resilience, self-discovery, and starting anew.
We walk with Sarah through her relatable journey of healing, self-discovery, and learning the meaning of love! It’s not only beautifully written, but has gorgeous illustrations through out that make this another level of immersive in a whole new way! 💚
