after finishing Cursed Dreams of the Shadow I heard there was a 2nd book in the works. the moment it became available I ordered it. let me tell you, this one did not disappoint. the details and descriptions put you in the book with all your senses. this is one book you can truly imagine yourself in the story walking side by side with the characters. so many unpredictable twists and turns!

Quinn’s strength doesn’t come from power, it’s her determination, her grief, her relentless need to uncover the truth. And Baxter… his presence lingers long after you close the book. By the end, I was aching for book three.
If you love high stakes fantasy filled with mirrors, secrets, and magic that refuses to play fair, this is your next obsession. The world of Fata was so vivid and beautiful and dangerous all at once. Quinn is the kind of heroine you root for because she’s real, flawed, and fierce. The was writing gorgeous. The twists were mind bending. And the ending left me staring at the wall for five minutes trying to process what had happened. Hopefully book 3 comes out soon!

If you love The Cruel Prince or A Court of Thorns and Roses, trust me, this deserves a spot on your shelf without the romance.

Can’t wait for the third book. I’m usually not into fantasy raids. It is well written love the characters the suspense you always wonder what’s gonna happen next.
