New heroes. New villains. A new mission. Share in the legend with books based on LEGO's BIONICLE action figures.
The Toa Metru are nearly powerless after their defeat of the Morbuzakh but they cannot rest. Instead they must venture underground to save the city of Metru Nui's Archives. The Archives contain the history of the city, the Matoran and even the Toa. However, a flood has allowed all kinds of creatures that are normally kept in stasis there to escape and now the Toa must battle them to survive.

The Bonkle novel hits its stride with this entry. The squabbles of the Toa Metru come to a head as the Krahka seeks to destroy the team’s unity by assuming their shapes and preying on their trust. That plus close encounters with monsters in the tunnels beneath the city make for a good dungeon crawl narrative.
this is when the Toa Metru truly become a team. The antagonist being a shapeshifter is a really great way to sow division mong the group and leads to some very fun sequences.
The Darkness Blow by Greg Farshtey is a thrilling and exiting novel in which six brave heroes face a formidable and crafty opponent deep underground. Sprinting through tunnels, battling a shapeshifter, and many other exiting adventures await in this exhilarating novel. This is an excellent read and will really get your heart pumping! I recommend this book for boys of any age and I didn't hesitate for a second when rating this masterpiece of a graphic novel. This book deserves 5 stars, no doubt!
Another fine Bionicle tale, with the Toa venturing underground and dealing with the various Rahi and monsters there, all of whom have a creepy, megalomanical feel to them. The writing works for the story’s purposes, but isn’t enthralling or anything.
