A coronation of clans. A Tier Two breakthrough. And a ruin that should never have been found...
Callum Agrippa and his companions have survived dungeons, intrigue, and deadly trials, but the Central Plains are about to test them in ways no System ever prepared them for. The Rothsbone Horde has swelled to tens of thousands, and every clan, tribe, and banner has gathered for a once-in-a-generation coronation. Politics run hotter than the autumn fires, and one wrong move could mean exile... or execution.
At the same time, Callum faces his long-delayed Tier Two ascension, unlocking new abilities tied to Void, Time, and Space. Forgotten ruins whisper secrets of ancient Systems, scriptshells, and powers best left buried. Between crafting for the horde, navigating clan rivalries, and uncovering mysteries of the Black Wall, Callum and his friends must balance lighthearted camaraderie with the deadly reality of survival.

R. A. Schmitt is a part time vampire hunter, part time school bus driver. And in his off time a writer. He’s hunted werewolves, printed magical newspapers, explored ancient ruins in search of lost languages, and is still on the eternal quest for the perfect sandwich recipe. When he’s not writing fantasy or LitRPG adventures, you can find him reading, smoking a pipe, or tinkering with new worlds at
It wasn't bad, but it wasn't as good as it should have been. The jarring scene changes are still there but this time there were a lot of stuff that happened that seemed to go nowhere or were included for no reason. This book was way more slice of life and just seemed to meander through the life of the MC. Lastly, the MC became way more naive and is caught and hurt multiple times believing some random person who approaches with free help is going to not be a issue.
OK, I haven’t gotten around to buying this series yet, but I just added the fourth book to the series under my Kindle unlimited. After I read the fourth book, I’m going to buy the whole series because I know this is a series I’ll reread over and over again. I would completely recommend this book to any one who likes books with great characters, wonderful descriptive world and if you’re not careful, you might pick up pipe smoking.
I like the first one best. But my favorite scene from book two was the dungeon ending. But book three showed range. His dreams, the MC. It was my favorite part. But I loved when Olivia fought the girl with the yarn weapon. And the fall festival. I will continue with this series, I want to see whatever is beyond the black wall. And I think this one blended cozy better than the last one by far. Five stars.
I will be honest I did not finish this one. The slice of life is already a bit slow with 35% of the story so far being about tobacco, 5% pipes, 10% food, 10% clothes, and 10% family stuff. But then to have the MC feel like he is regressing, socially, in fights, and just general intelligence, I it just couldn’t take it anymore.
