Robert Kirkman

He has also collaborated with Image Comics co-founder Todd McFarlane on the series Haunt. He is one of the five partners of Image Comics, and the only one of the five who was not one of the original co-founders of that publisher.
Robert Kirkman's first comic books were self-published under his own Funk-o-Tron label. Along with childhood friend Tony Moore, Kirkman created Battle Pope which was published in late 2001. Battle Pope ran for over 2 years along with other Funk-o-Tron published books such as InkPunks and Double Take.
In July of 2002, Robert's first work for another company began, with a 4-part SuperPatriot series for Image, along with Battle Pope backup story artist Cory Walker. Robert's creator-owned projects followed shortly thereafter, including Tech Jacket, Invincible and Walking Dead.

Really gorgeous Omnibus. I’m glad I did not buy the soft cover compendiums. This omnibus comes with the Spider-Man crossover comic, and the oversized pages are slick and eye catching.
If you have only seen the series, I highly recommend the comic. The artwork evolves and is better than the TV show’s animation, and I do think the comic is much funnier. I do think the show is an overall improvement to the comic’s story and makes good changes (the comic is very uhh…2000s). But I do think Invincible is the greatest independent comic ever published.

Who would have guessed? It is just as good as compendium 1, just with way better quality and that beautiful oversized format! Now having read the same issues in both tradepaperback and omnibus formats, I can confirm that I prefer the omni’s. I already did, but now I clearly do.
