Inferno of Redemption

Rate this book
I thought that being a Salando was dangerous enough, but I was wrong. Being a woman is worse. Having my body objectified and taken advantage of when I knew nothing better is just as bad. But having it happen now and my abilities being underestimated is just pure insanity. But that’s what has happened; we’re tools to everyone besides ourselves. So, when I get the opportunity to right a wrong that happened to me years ago, I can’t help but cause chaos with a smile on my face.

ARC REVIEW

Ohh biiitch this was good!! I wish it was a full book cause guuuurl!! A girl in love with best friends that help her get revenge on the piece of shit who kidnapped and did the worst to when she was younger. Yeah I couldn’t put it down. The plot had me so angry and I just knew that this revenge story was going to be so satisfying to watch unfold and.. IT WAS! I ate it up and loved every minute of it. THE WAAAY I LOVE GIDELLE!! She’s such a tough and lucky bitch. I want to be her when I grow up! I loved that we got some more of Graham! He’s just soo perfect and the best brother I just fucking love him. And Elias and Hogan are literally the definition of if he wanted to he would. These two worship the ground this bitch walks on and honestly as they should cause she’s such a baddie! Not going to lie though, I do love Hogan more 😛

This book deals with a few real heavy topics so
PLEASE PLEASE check the trigger warnings before reading.

This is a spinoff from the Angles duet. No you don’t have to read the first 2 to read this BUUUUT i would, just so you get a little more back story on these characters. If you loved the Angels duet you’re really going to appreciate this! Thank you Alaina for giving me the opportunity to arc read this. Once again, you killed it sis!

Revenge is sweet

Ok we follow Giselle Elias and Graham through a story that is short, sharp, and absolutely not for the faint of heart. Alaina T. Lee leans fully into the darkness here, and the trigger warnings are not optional reading. This book goes there violence, trauma, vengeance and it does so with a gritty honesty that demands you brace yourself before diving in.

Even with its brevity, the story hits hard. It’s a revenge‑and‑redemption arc wrapped in raw emotion, survival instinct, and the fierce determination to reclaim power after devastation. What kept me invested was the sense of being held up by the people who choose you, even when the world is burning around you. Graham and Giselle’s dynamic reflects that: jagged, intense, but anchored in the idea that healing sometimes requires someone willing to stand in the fire with you.

I also appreciated the author’s note at the end. Lee speaks about women’s health in a blunt, unvarnished way that matches the tone of the story gritty, direct, and necessary. It adds weight to the narrative and reminds you that the fiction is rooted in very real issues.

This isn’t a soft story. It isn’t meant to be comforting or easy. But sometimes a dark, unflinching tale is exactly what you need something that acknowledges the ugliness of the world and still carves out a path toward reclaiming yourself.

A tough, gritty, emotionally charged read that lands its punches and its purpose

Thank you Alaina and Book Babe for the e-ARC

"Alaina T. Lee's "Inferno of Redemption" is a wild ride! I honestly didn't know what to expect diving into this book, but let me tell you, I was absolutely HOOKED from the very first page until the very last.

Seriously, heed the trigger warnings for this one. There is a lot going on within these pages, and while it might be intense, I just couldn't bring myself to stop reading (what does that say about me, right?! lol). Lee has a way of grabbing your attention and refusing to let go, no matter how much your heart might be pounding.

One aspect I particularly appreciated was how the author seamlessly wove in a current issue that we are actively facing here in the United States. It added a layer of depth and relevance to the story that made it even more impactful.
And can we talk about Giselle? Her good girl/bad girl personality is top tier! Lee does an incredible job of portraying this duality, making her a complex and utterly fascinating character to follow. You're constantly intrigued by which side of her will emerge next.

Beyond the central plot, the amazing support system among the characters was genuinely sweet and lovable. It provided moments of warmth and connection amidst the intensity, making the characters feel even more real and relatable.

This was my first read from Alaina T. Lee, and let me assure you, it will definitely not be my last. "Inferno of Redemption" is a gripping and thought-provoking book that will grab you by the throat and keep you on the edge of your seat!

First, thank you for letting me be a part of your ARC team, and thanks also to Kala for bringing this gem to my attention. Inferno of Redemption was my first ever dark romance, but it will not be my last!!! Check your trigger wwarnings for sure, but if you're okay with them, get get ready to go on the wildest ride. I read this book in one sitting because it was just that great. It touched on a plethora of struggles that women face daily and not have a voice. Giselle was the perfect FMC because even though she endured so much trauma and her power was taken in her traumatic past, she was hell-bent on getting it all back. She was a "good girl" on paper, but those who really knew her knew that she could flip the script in the blink of an eye. Did I mention that she had 2 men who are best friends??? Elias and Hogan adored her and worshipped the ground that she walked on, but she had some secrets that even they didn't know. The story follows her romance with her two lovers as she sets out to exact her revenge. My only gripe about this story is that I wish it were longer.I was happy to know that it is a spinoff of a series about her brother Graham. Other than that, this story flowed so smoothly. It had plenty of spice, romance, and action. I don't want to give any spoilers, but just know that this is about to become your next favorite. I can't wait to dive head first into her catalog.

Emotional. Gripping. Utterly unforgettable
Inferno of Redemption completely wrecked me in the best way possible. Alaina T. Lee took me on an emotional ride that I honestly wasn’t ready for, but couldn’t pull myself away from. This book is dark, intense, and heartbreakingly beautiful.
The characters felt so real — raw, flawed, and human. You can feel every ounce of their pain, guilt, and desperate need for forgiveness. The chemistry between them isn’t just physical; it’s emotional and soul-deep. It’s the kind of connection that makes you ache right alongside them.
What I loved most was how Lee didn’t shy away from the darkness. She makes you sit in it, feel it, and then slowly shows you the light breaking through. It’s a story about second chances, healing, and learning that redemption doesn’t come easy — but it’s worth fighting for.
I found myself crying, smiling, and holding my breath more times than I can count. By the end, I felt like I’d lived through every fire and every fragile moment of hope right along with the characters.
If you love stories that hurt so good and leave your heart feeling both shattered and whole, Inferno of Redemption is one you won’t forget.
Some stories burn right through you — this was one of them

I received this as an ARC copy and this is my honest review.

This book is part of an interconnected world — you can read it as a standalone, but I highly recommend starting with the “Angel” series (or circling back after). It gives so much more depth to Giselle and Elias’ family story.

A short, very spicy, and deeply emotional read. This one’s for the women who never got to make choices about their own bodies — and for the ones who refuse to stay silent.

Giselle? An absolute powerhouse. 🔥 Nothing to play with.
Elias and Hogan? Had me kicking my feet, giggling, and fanning myself every other chapter. 😮‍💨

If you’re looking for something bold, raw, and a little bit healing… this one’s it. ❤️‍🔥

Grab this book this one if you like your romance with grit, vengeance, and strong female protagonists reclaiming their power—plus a supportive romance that never erases her autonomy. Be prepared for graphic and intense themes and a shorter form that moves quickly but lands hard.

Giselle is portrayed with real depth. Alongside her brother Graham, she’s endured traumatic childhood events, and the way those experiences shape her present feels both believable and emotionally charged. The two love interests—Eli and Hogan (yes, two!)—are refreshingly supportive rather than controlling.

Themes of trauma, healing, bodily autonomy (“It’s your body, it’s your choice”), and vengeance with a hint of redemption run deep, giving the story real emotional weight. Flashbacks are used effectively to illuminate Giselle’s past and ground her revenge, helping readers understand the roots of her pain and motivation. This is a dark romance gem and leaves you wanting more.

One thing to know about me is that I support women’s rights AND wrongs. This book is no exception.
I love that Giselle was single-minded in her plan for retribution. I loved her brother being loving and supportive without trying to stifle her or pressure her to do differently than she wants to do. I really love that she has found love with not one, but two men who are devoted to her wants, needs and desires.

All that being said: READ THE TRIGGER WARNINGS. As a habit, I rarely do and I was definitely startled (though not entirely put off) when I encountered some of the things I’d clearly been warned about.

If you want a quick read with some spice, some violence, and dare I say, a splash of taboo indulgences, Inferno of Redemption is the read for you!

🖤 traumatic past
🖤 why choose
🖤 revenge

This one was a very short and very spicy read. It was also an emotional read. It was feminine rage. It was for women who don’t get to make choices for their bodies.

Our FMC is strong and resilient. She has a deeply traumatic past. Her choice was taken. She is struggling with being with her men while the world judges her for loving more than one.

Then she gets a chance to right a wrong that happened to her in childhood and her men are supportive and there for her.

If you want a quick spicy read that also has a strong message for women’s rights pick this one up 🖤.

a good quick read with a wild ride!! i’ll have to go and do my due diligence and read the other books in this series. I’ve never done a multiple romance interests book but whew, i might have to get on this boat lol!! Giselle might lowkey be living my dream with Elias and Hogan.

i enjoyed how the author was outspoken about the current issues and how it could impact the FMC. I don’t usually like books where they mention these issues (mainly because i like the escapism books provide) but i enjoyed how they were written and told.

this will not be my last book by Lee, this was a good read!

Thank you Alaina and Book babes for the e-arc!
I really enjoyed this book I wish it was longer so I can spend more time with the characters.I loved Giselles baddie energy, she was nothing to play with!!! Elias and Hogan had me kicking my feet the whole time😂 You could really see the love that they had for Giselle and it was so refreshing.

There are heavy topics so I would highly recommend checking the trigger warnings!

I will definitely be reading more books by Alaina T. Lee. “Inferno of Redemption” is a short and gripping book that I would recommend to my fellow dark romance readers 🙂.

Was lucky enough to be an ARC reader for this book.
Dark romances are my favourite genre and this was defiantly one. After reading the first couple of pages I couldn’t put it down. I really like the développement of the story especially with the main characters. The booked kept you interested and gripped to it. The only thing I would say is that I wish the book was a bit longer. However, looking forward to reading more books from this author.

I would defo recommend reading the trigger warnings before reading it as it does talk about some heavy subjects.

“I’m sleeping with my boyfriend and his best friend. Society doesn’t make that ok for women.”

Thank you to the author for the ARC of Inferno of Redemption! Definitely read the triggers before reading but I promise you won’t regret it! This novella is action packed with a fierce female character named Giselle alongside her two lovers. Monsters from her past suddenly reappear and she does not hesitate to seek revenge. The story is fast paced, touching on dark themes while bringing the heat 🥵

ARC Review: This was not my favorite but I did enjoy the revenge of this. I like how she was taking back her control from what happened to her as a child. However it would be wise to read the other books before this one to have an idea of what is going on. I did feel a little lost on the background of everything. Overall it was great.

I Received an ARC from the author and am voluntarily leaving an honest review.

Was my first time reading a book from this author and no fucking around straight at the gate full force.
Definitely check your trigger warnings as it is heavily history trauma driven and so some might find it too hard and upsetting to read.
The writing style wasn't my cup of tea but still was able to finish in one go

3.75🌟 definitely do not read this if you’re pregnant. This was a hard read purely for that reason. I love dark romance but this one just hit a little too close to home for me personally. I did enjoy the majority of the novella though!

This was my first read from this author. I appreciate receiving this ARC. It was a quick read and I liked the overall theme and message the book portrays.
Personally, don’t think this was the book for me and didn’t align with the writing styles I enjoy, but can see the appeal for others who enjoyed.
