I really, really loved this book. The plot twist was kinda unexpected, but i enjoyed it. I really liked the relationships between Skylar and her friends and her and Nathan. everything was written very well, and I can't wait to read the rest of the series.

2025 has been the year for books of all tropes, cliffhangers and so many "What the heck moments"
I finished this book with a whole day, couldn't put it down once (even freezer bagged my kindle for the shower) so I could continue the book.
10/10 - for plot and just the whole book in general, if you are looking for a book that refreshes the bookworm taste buds this book is definitely worth a pick up, and the fact the author is Aussie let's go with some growth for this small and hopefully down the track for 2026 (plus other years too come) that she herself become big.

THIS IS SUCH A GOOD BOOK AND I SERIOUSLY THINK EVERYONE SHOULD READ IT. As someone who isn’t typically into romantasy books I ABSOLUTELY LOVED THIS the chemistry between the characters is unmatched and has such an amazing story line. You also are able to see the main characters journey through excepting this new power and learning to live with it. I THINK EVERYONE SHOULD READ THIS BECAUSE IT IS THE PERFECT BOOK
The ending of this book was sooo good and hooking actually could not place my book down for the last half of the book so incredibly amazing and everyone should read it
