First of all why I liked this book, was that it was very easy to read. Author perfectly described historical events to "simple" people to understand. Now I know more things about history. I think if there were such books while I was in school, I could get best marks, because at school I didn't understand anything about history, it was "dark forest" to me. And such books like this made me to understand so many things. I liked that author used these artistic features in writing to describe history, these sentences with feelings...I don't know how to express... these feelings made me shiver, even cry. Now I have huge wish to visit Berlin and famous place in Poland. I want to see and feel everything myself.

In Lithuanian translation edition are colorful pictures in a middle of book, which I really liked to watch and imagine every scenes in my head.

Now after this book I want to read more books about Second World War.

Vista la película, tenía interés en indagar y encontré el libro, que recoge muchos datos y toda la intriga sabiendo lo que va a ocurrir, si no, estaría perdido entre esos lugares y nombres alemanes. No obstante, se hace un poco denso, aunque interesante.

Libro muy interesante sobre la Segunda Guerra Mundial, trata de todas las veces que se intentó asesinar a Hitler, quien siempre corrió con suerte.
También nos hace mención de la Rosa Blanca, un movimiento de resistencia estudiantil, formado por jóvenes universitarios de Munich, varios de ellos fueron asesinados. Su oposición pacífica y su llamado a despertar la conciencia de los alemanes fueron muy significativos.

A veces los libros sobre hechos históricos son un poco pesados. O bastante. Al menos a mí me pasa. No es el caso de este, donde se explica el último (hubo más) intento de conspiración para matar a Hitler que, al contrario de los que se pueda pensar, no se fiaba de los militares porque sabía que algo así podría pasar.

A nice selection of facts about one of the most bold and well organized tries to dethrone Hitler. The author's commentary based on analyzing these facts is not requiring us to agree with someone's position but to build our own.
