It started with a HUNT.
You know the kind, only rich people throw?
The kind where everyone being hunted either ends up dead, or just wishes they were?
This isn’t a romance series. It’s more like erotic horror.
Is it hot and spicy? Yup.
Lots of primal play and very dubious consent.
A rich stalker who claims her? For sure.
Does she want to be claimed by him? That’s a little more tricky to answer and honestly, it’s irrelevant…. She belongs to Maksim now whether she wants to or not…..
Pretty decent story BUT definitely NOT a satisfying conclusion. Book feels unfinished and could use at least a little wrap-up. It’s not really a HFN, but I’m not sure it’s supposed to be.
There’s more books in the series (not currently released) so it would be great to get a bit more satisfying conclusion but after reading book 2 and getting an even worse ending, I think these stories are NOT MEANT TO BE HEA/ HFN.
Just FYI….
They are dark- Russian mafia dark- kidnapped and dub-con level dark. Not a true happy ending dark.
I actually enjoyed this one despite being more of a happy-ending fan. It was all great except I want a bit more conclusion thus the 4⭐️

This is very Hunger Games but the end is very different... Maksim has been obssesed with Haven for a quite a long time, for 13 months he has been watching, learning and waiting. This whole night has been orchestrated so they can finally meet on his ground. So Haven finally admits she wants him.
You get a bit of a view into the others experiences in the game and let's just say Maksim seems to be the most patient out of all of the hunters that participated in the game.

could have been a better plot.
This book could have been amazing. It’s a good quick spicy read but it could have been sooo much more. I would have written the little back story at the beginning to kind of amp up what is to happen. Maybe done a duel point of view.
It was ok if you like quicky spicy stories….There’s now build up for me.

I was enjoying this until about 5% from done. It left things too open. I have a lot of questions. I also haven't decided if I like the MMC. I really dont like how abruptly it ended. I'm not sure if I'll read the second. apparently its been described as full dark no stars, vomit inducing, and just straight abuse and torture and thats not my vibe.

Very quick read. Trigger warnings aren’t messing around. I wish this was longer, there could have been such an amazing story here. I wish the ending wasn’t so abrupt. This was a good read though! I did enjoy it and looking forward to the next instalment

I didn't read the trigger warnings cause I didn't think I would need to. That was a mistake. The noncon was so bad it literally made me emotional. Idk how the next one is about her friend finding her romance when she was raped this entire book. Would not recommend

this was good but it was definitely missing something. i feel like it shouldve been more descriptive and edited because i caught a couple typos with missing quotation marks. other than that, i NEED to know what happened to Elias after they broke off- I DEMAND IT!!
