Luke’s bedroom preferences were leaked to the world thanks to Brinley, his sister, (read book 4 for this story) so he can’t trust anyone and goes to online sites where he feels safe. When he realizes Eden is the girl he’s been watching, he bids to win her prize to protect her.

This “meet cute” is unconventional when they already know each other, but when her overprotective brothers catch wind of what she’s doing and show up to the hotel, Luke thinks quick and says they’re dating. A 5 rule contract and cheers over whiskey has Eden and Luke fake dating to repair his PR Image and get her brothers off her back about moving home.

Brinley (Eden’s bestie and Luke’s sister) is quick to lie for them but then tells Eden her brother would never be good enough or really like her - like rude much? Then makes her promise to abort mission is she develops feelings for Luke.

The two developed real feelings but never had a real conversation until it was almost too late. They both allowed their friend’s opinions to take over their own thoughts it seemed. With Eden planning Brinley’s wedding, the secrets kept piling up and they were bound to come out.

I think that Eden and Luke were a great couple together. They brought out the good in each other and had more in common that they thought with their life goals and wanting to fulfill their dreams.

I would’ve rate this book higher if not for Brinley’s hypocritical ways the entire book. Also I wish Eden defended Luke to her (or anyone) like he did for Eden when her brothers were still trying to control her life. Luke really put himself out there the entire book and never got the same in return even from his own friends.

Filthy Twisted Devil was my first book by this author. I enjoyed the writing style and really liked the plot of this book. Luke and Eden are a cute couple. They have sparks but also a genuine level of admiration for the other and a bit of history as Luke is the brother to Eden's best friend. This book was centered around the building emotional connection and potential emotional fallout of their fake relationship becoming real. There's still spice and heat but it's more slow burn and allows the characters to build meaningful connections beyond lust. This is a standalone though the other side characters have had books in the series and that history may have been helpful to know. I didnt love Luke's sister but maybe i would have a different opinion if I had read her book first. Regardless thos book kept me intrigued to the very end.

Luke was amazing in this. I loved that he bid for her to keep her integrity once he realized who she was. Eden was angry at first, which I could understand. But come on, she’d been attracted to him as well for ash those years. Her brothers best friend. And when her brothers stepped in, trying to sabotage this just like they’ve done tot every relationship she’d ever tried to have, Luke stepped in and said they were dating. I absolutely love a great fake dating romance. And Luke and Eden were awesome. I love how the kisses and touches start to feel like more, that the guard comes down and the true feelings finally come out. I found this to be devour worthy. And I ate this up.

It’s the last book in this series and I can’t believe I’ve read them all 😅

This time around, we have fake dating that eventually turns into not-so-fake dating.

I kinda wish we got more of Eden’s cam girl life. It felt like it ended as soon as it began for it to be such a huge part of her character description.

Brinley was such a hypocrite and that got on my nerves.

Also, Luke is known for being a BDSM guy and we didn’t get much of that either 😭 I was expecting mind-blowing-spice but it was okay. It didn’t necessarily take away from the story so I still enjoyed it.

I loved seeing him stand up to her brothers in her defence even though no-one did that for him.

Eden and Luke are such an adorable, if reluctant, couple. Though they started off in a fake dating situation, it was very clear it wouldn't remain fake for long. Their chemistry is slow burn with serious intensity. I love that Luke completely redeemed himself from the obnoxious teenager he was in Brinley's story, showed his clear growth and how much he loved Eden, even if neither of them said it until very late. Really the only thing I didn't like in Filthy Twisted Devil is Brinley, which surprised me considering how much I liked her in her own story. She is a complete hypocrite here, and it honestly bummed me out enough to downgrade to 4 stars, when it easily could have been 5 if Brinley wasn't such a bitch. Though I'm sad this amazing series has come to an end, Lena decided to go out with the best couple by far. I'm going to miss the women and men in the House of Cards crew!

Filthy Twisted Devil was such a satisfying way to close out the House of Cards series. I have loved this group, their friendships, the women who somehow matched these confirmed bachelors perfectly, and all of the chaos that came with watching these men fall one by one. I am definitely sad to say goodbye, but Luke and Eden gave this series exactly the kind of ending I was hoping for. 🖤♠️

Eden has been trying to build her event-planning business and make it on her own, but when things become financially desperate, she makes a decision she never expects to connect her directly to Luke.

Luke has his own reasons for keeping parts of himself hidden after being judged for things that became public, so when he realizes the anonymous woman he has been watching is actually Eden, his little sister’s best friend, everything changes.

Then three ridiculously overprotective brothers show up, one lie is told, and suddenly Luke and Eden are fake dating.

Because apparently that is the easiest possible solution. 😂

I loved the history between these two. Eden has had feelings for Luke for years, and once they are thrown into this fake relationship, all that buried chemistry starts becoming impossible to ignore. The practiced affection, stolen moments, push and pull, and the constant question of who is going to admit this is real first made their story so much fun.

Luke really surprised me.

He has the confidence, money, power, and reputation that could have made him feel overwhelming, but with Eden he was loving, supportive, protective, and incredibly proud of her. What I appreciated most was that his protectiveness never became about controlling her.

Eden is determined to build something for herself, and Luke lets her.

He supports her.

He encourages her.

He stands beside her.

But he does not take over her life or make her success about what he can provide.

That mattered so much to me.

Eden is strong and independent, but underneath that is someone who has spent so much time believing she has to handle everything alone. Watching her slowly realize that accepting help does not make her weak was one of my favorite parts of her journey.

And Luke is the kind of man who makes it very clear he wants all of her, not some version that other people find more acceptable.

That emotional support gave their romance so much more weight than I expected from the setup.

I also loved watching Luke realize his feelings were real LONG before Eden was ready to believe in them. 😂

He is basically done pretending while she is still reminding him about rules, expiration dates, and why this cannot possibly become permanent.

The chemistry between these two was fantastic, but I actually found the romance more tender than the title and premise might suggest. Luke’s reputation and preferences had me expecting something much more adventurous, while for me the emotional connection, friendship, and support stood out just as much as the physical side.

The family chaos was also one of the best parts.

Eden’s three brothers were absolutely ridiculous in the most entertaining way. Their overprotectiveness could drive anyone crazy, but you could also feel how fiercely they loved her. Add in Brinley, Luke’s friends, the previous House of Cards couples, the men gossiping just as badly as the women, and all of the familiar personalities we have come to love, and this really felt like one last big visit with the entire family.

And yes, there were definitely moments when I wanted Luke and Eden to JUST COMMUNICATE. 😂 So much heartache could have been avoided if these two had simply said what they were actually feeling.

But that frustration never took away from how much I loved watching them find their way to each other.

At its heart, this story was about two people who were tired of being defined by what everyone else thought they should be.

Luke has spent too much time being judged by assumptions.

Eden has spent too much time believing independence means never needing anyone.

Together, they gave each other room to simply be themselves.

That made the fake relationship becoming real feel so much more satisfying.

I also loved getting closure with the larger House of Cards world and seeing familiar faces throughout the story. This series has always had such a strong sense of friendship and found family, and that really shines in the finale.

Filthy Twisted Devil gave me fake dating, best friend’s brother, overprotective family chaos, great chemistry, emotional growth, plenty of laughs, and one last chance to spend time with characters I have grown attached to.

I am not ready to say goodbye to this group, but Luke and Eden were a wonderful way to close the House of Cards chapter. 🖤♠️

I’ve been waiting for Luke and Eden’s story ever since they were first introduced, and honestly, this was the perfect way to close out the House of Cards series. It was emotional, complicated, funny, frustrating in the best way, and packed with some of my favorite romance tropes.

What hooked me immediately was the setup. Eden is struggling to make her event-planning career work and ends up making a desperate decision to keep herself afloat. The last person she expects to become involved is Luke, her best friend’s older brother. Add in a fake relationship, three ridiculously overprotective brothers, years of mutual attraction, and a whole lot of family interference, and you have the recipe for exactly the kind of messy romance I love.

Eden was such an easy character to root for. She's independent, hardworking, and determined to build a life on her own terms, even when circumstances force her into difficult situations. What I appreciated most was her vulnerability beneath all that strength. She spends so much of the book trying to prove she can handle everything alone, and watching her slowly learn that it's okay to let someone stand beside her was incredibly satisfying.

And then there's Luke.

Luke completely surprised me.

At first, he comes across as the confident businessman who always seems in control, but beneath that image is a man who is exhausted from constantly being judged by assumptions and expectations that don't really reflect who he is. Once the fake dating arrangement starts, it becomes obvious how deeply he cares for Eden. He's protective without being controlling, supportive without trying to take over her life, and fiercely loyal once he decides she's his person.

One of my favorite things about the book was how quickly Luke realizes his feelings are real. There's no endless back-and-forth about whether he loves her. The conflict comes from convincing Eden that she can trust those feelings and believe in them. The yearning, the stolen moments, the fake relationship becoming a little too believable, all of it worked so well.

The chemistry between them was fantastic. Their history added layers to every interaction, and because they'd known each other for years, there was already a foundation of familiarity and comfort underneath the romantic tension. Some of my favorite scenes were actually the quieter ones where they simply supported each other through difficult moments.

The fake dating trope is one of my favorites when done well, and this book absolutely delivered. Watching both of them convince everyone else that the relationship was real while desperately trying to convince themselves it wasn't was incredibly entertaining. Of course, it becomes pretty obvious to everyone except the two people involved.

I also loved the family dynamics throughout the story. Eden's brothers brought equal parts chaos and comedy, while the larger friend group and returning couples from previous books added warmth and nostalgia. One of the biggest strengths of this series has always been the sense of found family, and that shines especially brightly here. Seeing characters from previous books show up and rally around Luke and Eden made this feel like a true series finale.

The emotional side of the story hit surprisingly hard at times. Both Luke and Eden carry insecurities they're trying to hide from the world, and the book does a great job showing how those fears influence the choices they make. Their struggles felt realistic, and their growth felt earned rather than rushed.

Without giving away major spoilers, there were definitely moments where I wanted to shake both of them and force them to communicate. But the emotional payoff made the frustration worthwhile. Their journey felt authentic because healing and trust rarely happen in a straight line.

I also appreciated that beneath all the tension and chemistry, the story stays focused on two people learning to love each other for exactly who they are, rather than who everyone else expects them to be.

And as a final book in the series, it delivered everything I wanted: romance, humor, emotion, familiar faces, satisfying character growth, and a beautiful reminder of why I fell in love with this world in the first place.

Some really great moments but wanderers off course

It’s been a minute since I read the previous book in the series but I know that I was feeling like each one was getting less good. Like the characters were getting flatter and less interesting as time went on and it seemed like the Big critical obstacle to their relationship just suddenly disappears without any real resolution and everything is tied up with a bow. That’s kind of what happens here too, except I would say it was messier.

Before going into detail about concerns, let’s talk about the good. There are some straight up lovely moments, some great banter, great writing in general. Spicy scenes are top-notch, that has never seemed to be a problem for this author. And that absolutely matters and it’s hard to pull off when you’re writing book after book. Most of the time the book is engaging though it gets a little bit less so each book and I really had a hard time staying engaged the last several chapters of this one.

But when I say it’s messy what I really mean is the plot line and the choices. Each of these books kind of matches a popular romance trope which is to be expected. This one is the fake dating, forced proximity trope. It actually kind of recycles tropes from previous books with a secret relationship like Brinley had, the forced proximity and domination Cat and Pippa experienced, and the “help me get out of my busy brain by dominating me” vibes that Cat already had. But as far as the fake dating forced proximity, it’s like the author couldn’t decide if they wanted it to be fake dating and pretend that we like each other or pretend that we don’t like each other in front of our friends when we’re actually secretly together. It’s just constantly back-and-forth between the two in a way that loses focus and is kind of exhausting.

Also, the point of forced proximity is typically a slow burn. A period of time where they don’t think they’re interested in each other, then they don’t want to believe that they are, and then eventually they can’t fight it anymore. The timeline on this just doesn’t work. They jump straight to getting physical when they don’t have to way too soon for the whole slow burn concept. Then we drag in the middle where nothing really happens and that continues while we go back-and-forth trying to figure out whether we’re faking a relationship or faking not having a relationship. But I feel like this would i’ve been much more effective if we had saved the real moments and the moments where they actually given to touching each other till much later in the book.

The two main characters also just aren’t really interesting. We’ve only just met Eden and she’s OK but I have to say that I don’t think the original premise fits with her character. And Luke has been here since the beginning of the series yet has zero personality. That seems hard to believe considering we’ve had more time to get to know him than anyone. I do like Eden, which is a nice change because Brinley may be even less likable in this book than she has been in past books. But Luke and Bo are both just kind of boring and flat and could honestly basically be the same person.

So overall still four stars because of the actual prose and dialogue, etc. but can’t give it five stars because of the flatness of the characters and the lack of direction in the plot. But I have to say I will miss this cast of characters as I have stuck with them through all five books. And while I obviously have thoughts about the writing itself, I appreciate the author and the work she has put into building out this world. I would still recommend the series to anyone looking for light kind of fluffy romance with good banter, especially in the first couple books.

The House of Cards series comes to an end with Luke’s story in Filthy Twisted Devil, and I have to admit, after the previous book, I wasn’t exactly looking forward to it. Luke had left a pretty bad impression on me, so I was curious to see how the author was going to turn things around…... pretty successfully turns out.

After the fallout from his particular preferences being revealed, Luke has become a lot more hesitant when it comes to women and has retreated into the anonymity of watching cam girls. One girl in particular catches his attention, until he realises she’s actually Eden, his sister’s best friend. Eden had moved to the city to try and get her business off the ground, but although she’s struggling financially, she’s determined to make it on her own, refusing to accept any help, but when things get really desperate, she takes a drastic step that brings her into Luke’s orbit. Throw in three seriously overprotective brothers leading to a fake relationship and two people who really need to learn how to communicate, and you have the basic setup for the story.

I genuinely didn’t expect Luke to win me over, but he did. In fact, I went from disliking him to feeling quite sorry for him. He’s always been there for his friends, but when he needs someone in his corner, that support doesn’t seem to be quite as forthcoming. His reputation and business have also taken a hit again because of the fallout from his sister’s actions, so the fake relationship with Eden actually gives him something to gain as well. For Eden, it’s about getting her brothers off her back while she concentrates on making her business work. On paper, the arrangement makes sense for both of them, but of course, pretending to date only works for so long before feelings and chemistry start getting in the way. I liked Luke and Eden together. Their chemistry was there, but what worked best for me was watching their relationship develop into something based on genuine friendship as well as attraction. Eden’s biggest hurdle was learning that accepting help doesn’t make her weak, and I liked that this was something she had to work through and realise for herself rather than having it magically fixed for her. Also, considering Luke’s preferences, I was expecting the spice to be a little more… adventurous, so that side of their romance was probably less than I expected.

Another particular highlight for me was Eden’s brothers. Their overprotective antics added another entertaining element to the story, and I’m definitely keen to see seeing where their stories go. Overall, this was a satisfying conclusion to the House of Cards series, and Luke’s story definitely left me a much better impression of him than I expected.

Eden has the drive and ambition, and she won't let anything stand in her way, including her three overly protective brothers. She was such a complex heroine, confident and smart, a little small town and a little big city, and I loved that she could be so strong and independent while also being willing to be soft and submissive with Luke. That contrast was so hot.

Luke is your consummate bachelor who's more focused on building his whiskey business, Twisted Devil, than settling down. But after an article about his sex proclivities puts off some of his business associates, he offers Eden a little arrangement. She helps improve his image, and he gets her brothers off her back. Win win, right? Until he starts to see exactly what he's got in Eden and realizes how much he wants to keep her. He was so used to being in control, and watching him fall first and fall harder as he realized just how much he wanted Eden was so satisfying.

They really were the perfect match. Both dedicated and work-focused, I loved watching their arrangement slowly turn into something neither of them expected. But with Luke's sister so opposed to them being together, they struggled to fully accept what was growing between them. It was hard watching them fight their feelings when all they wanted was to let go and embrace this beautiful thing they were building.

I was absolutely anticipating Luke's book, but I don't think I was prepared for just how much I was going to love this man. The way he supported and cared for Eden, and how utterly in awe of her he was, it was just perfection. And quickly, can I just say that Eden's brothers were an absolute highlight for me? I think the way they were integrated into this book was really well done. Since their series is next up, and I'm foaming at the mouth for more of them, I loved getting to see more of their personalities and relationships. I couldn't have asked for a better ending to this series.

He lost important deals for his business, and had women approaching him at every turn, talking about the things they’d read. The one place he felt he didn’t have to pretend was when he watched his cam girl, but when he recognized her birthmark and realized what she was putting up for sale, he knew he had to stop it. He never intended to start anything with Eden, but when he saw her panic at facing her brothers, he spoke without thinking, only to later convince her they could both benefit from their arrangement. She could get her brothers off her back, and he would get a public image rehab to help him get his credibility back. Performing for an audience soon became practicing in dark corners, and before either of them knew it, faking it felt like the realest thing they’d ever had.

I received an early copy of this book from the author and @Theauthor.Agency and absolutely loved it. While Luke and Eden seem like an unlikely pair, we quickly realize that she’d had a crush on her best friend’s older brother for longer than she’d care to admit. My heart broke for both of them having to pretend they weren’t feeling anything, but I so loved how quickly Luke realized he was falling, even when Eden was scared to let go. I have to say, Brinley was definitely not my favourite character in this book. While she thought she was protecting Eden from Luke’s playboy ways, she was being hypocritical telling Eden she couldn’t have an actual relationship with him, even though she hid a relationship with Luke’s best friend for years (and then wonders why they kept it a secret from her). I loved watching Eden find her footing, and how quickly Luke was willing to stand up for her to anyone, but most of all, I loved the way they loved the other unapologetically because of who they are, and not what other people think they should be.

Now I have only read one of the other books in this series and it wasn’t even the 1st one! But this did not stop me from enjoying this book immensely.

Eden is a young woman who has moved across the country from a ranch with 3 controlling brothers, to the big city hoping to make a successful career in event planning. Things haven’t gone quite to plan and she is in a financial predicament; she’s already living in her best friend's apartment for free but she still isn’t earning enough despite becoming a camgirl, so she decides to offer an auction, although this is slightly unusual as the thing for sale is her virginity.

Luke has become very successful as a Whiskey maker and supplier and has a good group of friends but he’s still reeling from an article his (then angry) sister wrote about him and his preferences in the bedroom, this has cost him relationships as women only seem to approach him with one thing in mind, and also business deals. As he doesn’t feel he is in a position to trust being with a woman at the moment, he resorts to watching camgirls and there is one in particular that he enjoys but is still surprised when he is invited to an auction…

When caught at the meet point by his sister (Eden’s best friend) and Eden’s brothers, they quickly say they are in a relationship but had kept things quiet as it was still very new, they then agree to fake date as they both get something out of it. Luke can show companies that he is in a stable and committed relationship and Eden can show she is settled and no longer a camgirl as she is with Luke and they start to leave her alone.
But with spending so much time together, feelings start getting involved and it was so lovely to see them genuinely fall for each other but both worried it was one sided. Luke in particular, I felt agonised the most over it

It was a really lovely story and I also loved the other characters in the friend group, so I’m going to go back and read the others in this series.

And Luke? Absolutely everything I want in a book boyfriend. He is caring, sweet, protective, and isn't afraid to stand up to Eden's brothers when necessary. Plus, that mouth on him? Stick a fork in me, I'm done.

I had such a fun time reading this, and the found family vibes were absolutely perfect. I loved getting to see characters from the previous books interact throughout the story. That has been one of my favorite parts of this entire series, so while I'm sad to see this friend group coming to an end, I'm also ridiculously excited to see where the author takes some of the other characters in the next series.

Now, Brinley. Girl, you tested my patience. As Luke's sister and Eden's best friend, she was the biggest obstacle standing between these two, constantly pushing them apart and sending them back into that frustrating cycle of wanting each other but refusing to act on it. Their attraction was obvious, so watching them go in circles had me yelling at the book more than once. And considering what Brinley did in her own book, can we talk about the hypocrisy? I was definitely holding a grudge until the very end, when her reaction to Eden and Luke finally being together earned her some forgiveness.

Overall, this was such a fun, steamy, chaotic addition to the series. I loved Eden and Luke, adored the found family moments, and I'm definitely not ready to say goodbye to this group just yet.

This was way, way cuter than I was expecting and I really loved that it starts off with a noble, or at least in Luke’s mind, gesture that gets out of control pretty much the second he does it courtesy of his sister magically appearing with Eden’s three way too controlling brothers in tow. Cue the mutually beneficial fake dating, growing need on multiple levels, and some bonding you didn’t see coming along with a hissy fit you did, and you get a mess of Luke and Eden all twisted up in attraction they’re fighting, feelings they’re denying, and a fine line they’re walking between making Luke’s image looks good and Eden’s brothers behave while trying to keep the peace with Brinley. There’s really a ton going on in this book with babies and weddings and Eden trying to establish a career while Luke is in the thick of his whiskey distillery and her brothers are incessantly checking to make sure he’s treating her right but it works and it actually makes the moments when it’s just them even sweeter and way better. Tons of stuff to love about this read, especially because Luke is way swoonier than you’d expect, I will say Brinley and Luke’s relationship hasn’t been great in years and really blew up in the book before this one so she can seem a little over the top dramatic about Luke and Eden’s relationship, but all around this is a strong, solid, fake dating romance that’s really pleasurable to read.

After how massively pissed Luke was when Beau and Brinley hid their relationship, I couldn't stop laughing as Luke slowly found himself doing basically the exact same thing. You would think he might have learned a lesson or two, but apparently not. The writing was on the wall, and I kept waiting for him to realize that maybe keeping his feelings in the dark wasn't going to end well.

Luke with Eden was absolutely adorable. He was gentle, caring, protective, and so incredibly proud of her. His protectiveness never meant overpowering her. He wanted to show her off, but he also stepped back and let Eden shine completely on her own. The way they supported each other and genuinely respected what the other was building with their career gave their relationship such a great foundation.

I also really appreciated how Luke handled the physical side of their relationship. He easily could have been selfish, especially with how much he wanted her, but instead he found a way to respect Eden and what she needed. That said so much about the kind of man he was.

Getting the other House of Cards couples mixed into their story made this such a fun final book. The guys together are hilarious, the friendships between the women have become something special, and I enjoyed getting those last moments with everyone.

This was such a great way to wrap up the series. I'm sad to say goodbye to this group, but I couldn't have asked for a better feeling when it ended. I received this book as an ARC and am leaving the honest review voluntarily.

This is the 5th and final book in the House of Cards series. It had so many of my favorites tropes - best friend’s brother, fake dating, friends to lovers, secret identity. I felt that this one really delivered on all of those tropes. The best friend’s brother was interesting because there was a similar trope involving the sister and the brother’s best friend. That said, I enjoyed this story. The FMC is all young 20 something’s - trying to figure her stuff out while making it on her own in a big city. The MMC is a bit of a PR disaster but wealthy playboy. When these two team up, they truly make a fun pairing. There is some spice in this one but it is not too much or too spicy.

I also enjoyed the set up this book led to for the next series. I am so curious to learn more about the FMC’s brothers and I am hoping there may be more Luke and Eden in those books since they involve her brothers. This was a good contemporary romance that ticked off the tropes I liked and I would definitely go back and read the rest of the series based off of this book. While I did not feel like I needed to go back and read those backs, I am sure there are some small details in this one that would make more sense if I had read the earlier books. That said, this can absolutely be read as a standalone! Happy reading!

Deliciously Messy and Addictive

Besties... Lena Hunt really said, “Let’s make fake dating everybody’s problem,” and I ate it up. 🤭 Eden and Luke start with one wildly messy situation, a $1.3 million bid, three overprotective brothers, and a relationship that is supposed to be completely pretend. Obviously, those rules never stood a chance.

I loved watching Luke go from protective billionaire to absolutely gone for Eden. That man fell first, fell harder, and kept digging the hole with both hands. Eden was just as fun... independent, ambitious, stubborn, and determined to build her event-planning career while keeping her brothers out of her business. Their banter had me giggling, but the softer moments surprised me most.

The trip to Locke Ranch was where this really hit for me. Between Luke winning over Eden’s family, helping with the barn wedding, and all those “we’re only pretending” moments becoming painfully real, I was hooked. And when their carefully constructed lie finally exploded? Delicious chaos. 🤭

This was spicy, funny, sweet, and just edgy enough, with strong found-family energy. Such a satisfying 'House of Cards' finale!

These two! I loved how much they both tried to deny what was between them and kept failing at it. I do have to wonder: if they had fully talked to one another, could they have saved each other a little heartbreak? Not that it lasted long, but they both thought it had an end date that neither wanted. I also loved how well they knew their friends and who was going to be the one to spill any secrets, and he was the one to do it even though everyone else could see they were truly together by then. I do love how quickly Eden's brothers came around after they were told the truth, after putting Luke through months of distrust and finally having something to distrust him about.

The spice in this was outstanding . The whole series has been great. I was a little put off as the main FMC has the same name as my daughter but I just tried to ignore it 😆😆

Filthy and twisted and I loved every line

Oh good lord this was the perfect way to wrap up this series. I have been completely drawn in to this world from book 1. And this installation was no different. I am utterly obsessed with Luke and Eden. Both together and individually. Eden is a girl I could easily connect with. She does what she needs to do and all I can say is yes queen!! And the way Luke wants to protect her was an immediate swoon from me. These two had amazing chemistry. It was unmatched and had me fanning my face every time they were together. Add in that fake dating but and I was a complete goner for them. Their connection was so real and honest. And I just wanted them to have a freaking conversation about fake not being fake anymore. I found myself shaking my book and yelling at it more than once. But when they finally defined that relationship all bets were off in my obsession with them. These two brought the best out in each other. They supported and understood each other in ways no one else did. And the ending they got felt perfect for them. It’s not what was expected or proper but then again neither are they.

But I just have to say one more thing. And that is that Brinley is a butthead and I wish nothing but bad hair days in her. The way she treated her brother was horrible. He deserved better, from family especially.

This plan goes horribly wrong when Eden’s three protective brothers also show up at the hotel where Eden’s auction rendezvous is set. As a way to cover up her embarrassing situation, she and Luke decide on a plan to fake date for a certain amount of time.

All details surrounding the fake dating scenario work perfectly fine in the beginning until the fake kisses and touches start to linger just a little longer than necessary. They both start to increasingly find excuses to hang out with the other. I fell in love with this story pretty hard. This entire series is fantastic but there was just something about the chemistry between these two characters that grabbed my attention and held me hostage until the end.

I recommend this novel for mature audiences only due to sexual content.

Loved this story
This is book 5 the final in the House of Cards series and features Luke and Eden’s story.
They have history together as she is Luke’s sisters best friend.
Never spending much time together when young Eden crushed on him from afar, with him never knowing how she felt.
This was a fun story that had Eden’s brothers always in her business, especially when she was trying to date.
She gets herself into a bit of bother when she becomes a camgirl but when Luke realises what she has done he comes to her rescue.
Their characters and chemistry were electric and when a fake relationship is agreed upon it benefits them both as long as they don’t fall for each other.
Enjoying their interactions, their friendship group, Eden’s family and her brothers over the top actions plus the steamy scenes really added to the story.
I’m looking forward to reading Eden’s brothers stories in her next series.

The House of Cards series is one of my favorite series. All five books were fantastic. Filthy Twisted Devil is the last in the series. This is about Luke Windsor and Eden Locke. Eden is Brinley’s best friend. She is introduced in Brinley and Beau’s story. Eden is trying to escape her overprotective brothers and attempting to make it on her own. She is an event planner but is having a hard time paying the bills. She joins a Cam Girl website but it is only temporary until she can set herself up financially. She doesn’t want to be indebted to Brinley forever. Luke is the owner of Twisted Devil, a whiskey and Brinley’s brother. Brinley and Luke are still on a bit of shaky ground even though he has accepted his sister’s relationship with his best friend. Eden has been in love with Luke since she was 10. However, he has never given an inkling of interest so Eden buries her feelings. Little does Eden know that Luke is one of the people who has watched her on her cam channel. After putting up a bid to lose her virginity, Luke realizes who the girl behind the camera really is and outbids her potential suitors. Soon a plan of outwitting her brothers ensues and now Luke and Eden are fake dating. Eden can use Luke to get her brothers off her back and Luke can use Eden to improve his image. Soon the lines are blurring between fake and real feelings. Will Brinley accept Eden’s interest in her brother? Will Luke finally find the one and settle down? This was a great end to this series. I am looking forward to Lena Hunt’s next series about Eden’s brothers.

A solid 4/5 for the entire House of Cards series! I had such an amazing time with this series, and the conclusion was honestly perfect for these characters.

Eden was such a great FMC, independent, brave, and hardworking. I loved watching her slowly realize that she doesn’t always have to handle everything alone. Luke was also so good. Protective without being controlling, supportive, loyal, and always there for her. Their chemistry was incredible, especially seeing their fake dating slowly turn into something very real.

I loved the family dynamics too. Eden’s brothers brought so much chaos and comedy, while the friend group and returning couples added warmth and nostalgia. Except Brinley. I absolutely despised her.

As the final book, it delivered everything I wanted: romance, humor, emotion, character growth, and a satisfying conclusion. I’m sad to say goodbye to this world, but excited for the new series!

I loved this just like I’ve loved all the others in the series. Fake dating, secret identity, best friends brother- all tropes I love!

I especially love Eden and Luke together. He had a rough go with things recently when his personal bedroom preferences were leaked by his sister, so he is trying to straighten up his reputation. Eden needs her brothers to believe they are dating so they will let the secret cam girl situation that she got herself into go.

Of course fake dating turns into real feelings but neither really owns up to them until it’s almost too late. Luke continuously stood up for Eden throughout the book. I wish Eden had been a bit more sure of him and did the same, but she was terrified of loosing her friendship with Brinley. Which Brinley was a tad annoying with her not wanting Eden to catch feelings for Luke even though she dated Luke’s best friend for years behind his back…

Even though that was annoying I still think this is a 5 star read. It was angsty, funny and super steamy.

I wasn't quite sure what to expect with Filthy Twisted Devil. It was my first Lena Hunt romance AND it is the 5th book in the House of Cards series (for some reason I completely missed that tidbit when I picked it up). However, I cannot and will not say no to a camgirl romance. It is a new favorite of mine and I will gobble it up. I had a blast reading Filthy Twisted Devil. I wasn't expecting it to be a little of a slow burn, but holy cow... Every time Luke and Eden grew closer in their fake relationship, the tension sparked until it eventually combusted. I had so much fun getting to know them and falling for them.

Lena's writing was a lot of fun. Her characters were fantastic. I loved the setting and massive group of friends. I will say that I got a bit lost at times because I didn't know the full backstory of some of the characters. Of course we get a little bit of their individual stories, but I have a feeling I would have really loved to start the series from the beginning, which is something I now plan to do. For my first Lena Hunt book, I was very much entertained.

This is book 5 in the house of cards series and in my opinion my absolute favorite.

I've fallen in love with this series since I first decided to randomly arc read the first book in the series and take a chance on a new author I never read. I will forever be glad I did that spontaneously because I usually never arc read authors I haven't read before due to being afraid, I won't enjoy it.

Lena Hunt really outdid herself with this book because I felt it all. The yearning, the temptation, the push and pull, and the falling.

Eden and Luke were the perfect piece they were each missing in their life. I loved reading how Eden knew from young how head over heels she was for Luke.

Luke had me wanting to shake him but then also wanting to console him all in the same chapter. he will forever be my misunderstood prince and I'm so happy he got his happily ever after.

This friend group will forever stay with me and I'm so sad their story ended. But so excited to read more from this author.

I am addicted to the House of Cards series and this story was perfection. Luke and Eden, the feelings these two hide from each other create the perfect tension and chemistry. Between her overprotective brother’s, their fake dating situation and blurred lines, these two are irresistible.

Luke has been going through it since the article by his sister released all his kinks. He has been finding solace in his camgirl who hides her identity, until one night she bids one night with her to the highest bidder and he recognizes a birthmark on her.

Eden has had big dreams since moving to Toronto but her savings are dwindling fast and job prospects are far and few. She works as a camgirl to make ends meet. She is someone where it is so easy to root for. Her determination and strength to handle things alone are admirable and then in comes Luke.

The emotional side of this story shows the vulnerability and insecurities they both have. The trust they build with each other is beautiful.
