Apart from the cover hint I had no clue what to expect when I got chosen to ARC read Jack My Lantern. But omg I was immediately hooked!

Sexy pumpkin man comes to life - check
Pumpkin spice flavoured c*m - check
Princess treatment by the sexy MMC - check
HEA - check

Was there a lot of plot? No.
Did I still love it? Yes.

And the smut menu (aka trigger warnings) delicious.

It’s super short (sexy) and sweet at 78 pages but I wish it was longer!

Well, this was something. I have to give it four stars simply because I could not stop reading. Definitely a unique plot for a Halloween story.
It's raunchy, it's ridiculous, it gets downright dark. And, is kind of sweet.
The FMC is unashamedly sexual and knows what she wants. It's always great to see female characters not being afraid to embrace their sexuality.
Great short read if you're in the mood for something extra pumpkin spicy!

I love how even tho it's a short novella book you still get a bit of the plot/back story. Saying that if you are a big plot reader...there really isn't much there, but still it's a great erotic read. So please still check it out! You've got Halloween/costumes, cheating crappy ex, a jack-o'-lantern, pumpkin spice, lots of smutty/erotica scenes and you even have murder. What else could be better? Make sure you add this to your Spooky TBR list!!!

Just finished the ARC and 🥵

Read the triggers!!

I signed up because the title had me super curious and it didn’t disappoint. Spicy scenes were HOT. Plot was a little confusing at times (but that also might be because of getting interrupted by my children). If it wasn’t for my little gremlins I would have finished this book in a day and since I didn’t I had to think about it non stop until I could pick it up again!

Definitely going to snag a physical copy when it releases.

I got to be an ARC reader for this one and it's a short, dark, erotic hell of a good time!!!

The FMC has a knob of a boyfriend, and she comes up with a plan to make him jealous that ends up backfiring on her in more ways than one (there is an intended pun there).

The "monster kink" is definitely kinking. If it's an orifice, it's definitely getting filled with sweet pumpkin spice 😂 and honestly, if I had a pumpkin headed scarecrow of a man that looked like that, I'd let him hit it too!!!

The dark part comes from his intentions for an end goal that somehow still ends with a HEA.

I can't really say much as with this being a short read, small details give away a lot, but it was definitely worth the read and I'm not sure I can look at pumpkins the same way I used to!!

This isn’t something I’d normally pick up, but with Halloween creeping closer, I decided to give Jack My Lantern a go, and honestly, I’m glad I did! 🎃

It’s a short, dark, and spicy read that blends magic, Halloween energy, and some very bold monster kink elements. There were a few moments that left me with questions and a bit of “wait, what just happened?”, but overall, it was wild, creative, and perfectly captured that chaotic Halloween vibe.

Such a fun and fast read. It really puts you in the holiday *mood*. Jack was just a pumpkin, or so she thought. Sometimes all you need is a little holiday magic to make your dreams come true. Battery operated toys also help. After a bad breakup we all could use a little revenge fuck. Jack is the perfect match. A bad boy with a protective heart. I will definitely be looking twice at the pumpkins at the patch this year making wishes every time I pass one. The pacing of the book was good. It held my interest and flowed nicely. There were many little surprises along the way. I’m hoping to find my own Jack to spend this spooky season with, and start our very own patch with his seeds. 😂 iykyk. I loved the hint of hallmark magic added in the end. Quick read, so what do you have to lose? Just read it.

I would give this a 3.5 stars overall. It’s a quick read with super smutty Halloween vibes. This book is not deep and has very little plot, but that’s not necessarily a bad thing. It’s the perfect short read when you’re in between books or when you don’t want to have to use your brain too much but still want to enjoy a read. There were a few times where I was sort of confused and was left questioning some things. However, that may just be me and maybe certain things were meant to be left up to interpretation. I wasn’t confused enough to not enjoy the book. I can’t say I absolutely loved or devoured this book, but I certainly didn’t dislike it. It kept me entertained enough and had me giggling a few times. I’d recommend it to anyone who wants to turn their brain off, enjoy a slice of pumpkin pie (😉), and get lost in a pumpkin patch full of spooky season smut!

Idk from where to start ? Cause this book is really really really good. I was eagerly waiting for this one to drop into my
inbox and as soon as it did I didn't waste any time and dive right into it. Oh boy while reading you'll be sweating and panting for air. This is a short erotic halloween novella which will make you swoon. I just loved every bit of this book and devoured it completely. I don't want to say much and spoil it for you guys but all I can say is that you all gonna love it as much as I did 🙈. And the ending was perfect 😍.

This is an unhinged absolutely filthy under 100 pages Halloween themed spicy read and I wasn’t mad at it. I thought the overall idea of how this story was set up actually made a lot of sense and could make a really great full length novel. I could have done without the random murder that happens but a fun read. The smut was what I was expecting based on the trigger warnings and was written short enough to get the point across while still being spicy. This was an enjoyable read and I had an even better time explaining this story to my friend who doesn’t read these types of books 😂

I didn't expect to LOVE this as much as I did. The spicy scenes were 🥵🔥

Just received and read this arc today and I ate it up! This is a well written and so fun to read. A monster romance mixed with Halloween theme and an almost pumpkin king feel i just kept thinking, "what if she turns into a pumpkin queen!" that obviously didnt happen, lol. I am actually not much for pumpkin/pumpkin spice at all but I loved this pumpkin spice! 🎃 Absolutely recommend if you love this sort of read and especially during Halloween season 😉
