This book was an amazing read. It draws you into the book with the first chapter. KJ provides a lot of insight of the history in this book that helps you understand her world of magic. I never thought I’d like the friends to lovers trope but I was dead wrong. This book was original and beautifully written. I cannot wait to start reading the second!

An easy read. Enjoyed it. Lots of errors, but nothing that destroys the plot. I thought ilthis was a stand alone, but no. There is lots of closure, though.
