PROFESSIONAL SIN (#2) is an erotic romance of 19,000 words. Contains sexy billionaire bosses and office romance.
The skills that keep Lindsay alive are turning into liabilities. She needs to keep covering her tracks, which leads to lying to her bosses in order to hide her true identity.
Hawthorne, Romeo and Slade are powerful men who have zero tolerance for what they perceive as disrespect. They spell it out clearly: no more lies. As much as Lindsay wants to walk away, she knows the three men give her something no one else can.
When someone from her previous life recognizes her, her bosses demand to know who she really is and what she’s running from.
Is a half-truth a truth? Or is it just another lie?
This BDSM romance contains dominance and submission and many other delights. For adults only. Romantic suspense.
If Cleo isn't writing (or reading!) erotica, she's probably sitting on her balcony, watching the wind blow through the trees. She loves snowstorms, horses, and piña coladas. If she won the lottery, she would hire an assistant to take care of the technical side of e-publishing so that she could write all day.
Some random facts about Cleo: 1. Thinks life's too short to forgo HEAs and HFNs. 2. Sprained an ankle joining the mile-high club. (Never again!) 3. Favorite writers include Cormac McCarthy, Junot Diaz and Rachel Caine. 4. Gets weak-kneed for bookish guys who know how to fix things with their hands. *swoons*
In the second book of the series Lindsay is keep working in Romeo’s company trying to prove herself as a valuable employee and trying at the same time to cover her tracks and her lies about her previous life. A man from her previous life appears and she is scared since her identity is almost revealed.
Of course the three Alpha males are not fooled by her lies.
Especially Hawthorne does not trust her one bit. The quarrels of the two of them are intense and somewhat funny. Lindsay is one sassy girl!
The chemistry between the four of them is over the top, their sexual plays are very rough and passionate and I am not really sure how Lindsay can keep up with the three of them.
Ok, let me just say this would be better if it were sold as a novel and not short stories. We still need some character development, and need to learn he rest of Linsey's secrets. And now I think Hawthorn has a soft side and we just might see more of it coming up.
Professional Sin was a quick easy read. "Lindsey" is still annoying with all her lies. Hawthorne is still an ass hole even though he has his sweet side like when he gave Lindsey the kitten she saved in book one. Romeo and Slade are still sweet. The sex scenes were hot and pretty intense. Overall the book was good, but I wish we could find out what Lindsey is hiding already.

Overview
The skills that keep Lindsay alive are turning into liabilities. She needs to keep covering her tracks, which means lying to her bosses in order to hide her true identity. Hawthorne, Romeo and Slade are powerful men who have zero tolerance for what they perceive as disrespect. They spell it out clearly: no more lies. As much as Lindsay wants to walk away, she knows the three men give her something no one else can. My Thoughts
The story continues with these 4, and if you remember, we last left them when there was an offer out to Lindsay for a better working situation. To Hawthorne's chagrin of course though since he's the one that outwardly seems to have the biggest issue with her. (personally i think that it means that under all the facade - he likes her the most). anyhow, we are now picking up as she's in a different position, working for the guys in a way that will help their business. she's there as an asst officially but instead she's able to watch the room during meetings and help sort out the best angle for their success. She's excelling at this of course and well, i'm sure there's more that's going to come of it.
Throughout this 2nd installment, we are left to wonder what the depth of Lindsay's secrets are, especially since we find her at the bank trying to empty her safety deposit box, all the while looking over her shoulder. and spying someone that is questionable and makes her uncomfortable. I can't wait to see what happens - if it's just a matter of someone looking for her to bring her home, or if she's in 'grave danger'. seeing as how she talks about feeling safe in Slade's arms - i'm guessing it's more the latter.
anyhow, we get some great scening with this story line - there's something hot about a woman who knows her sexuality, and yet is so easily overpowered by 3 men that own theirs. The things that they do to her, all at the same time are graphic, but hot at the same time and i think that we'll see that as hot as it is, the all or nothing may become a problem. who knows though.
So, we are left off wondering if they are going to let her go since she's hiding her secrets, or if they are going to continue down the path. will Hawthorne continue to have issues or will he warm up to her and well, what's the end game? I still don't know what they are all hoping to get out of this, and well, since we don't have a full back story, we don't know what started it in the first place. Oh well. enjoy!
Omg, so we have a half truth so far I think Lindsey is starting to realize that she can trust Romeo and Slade. As for Hawthorn he is still questionable. He is rough and the hardest on her, but he knows her to the core and gives her what she craves.with snide remarks. Hopefully their relationship can improve as time goes on
Very short, but somewhat intriguing. You want to find out what female MC is hiding. My curiosity left me wanting to read the next book in series. Which incidently is frustrating due to having to buy/find the next book, & to finish the story there are 6 books to get.
The mystery of Cleo's past is really starting to get very interesting. A little more of it was revealed in this story but still not enough to really understand what drives her. I'm intrigued to find out more.
Hawthorne, Romeo and Slade are really starting to show more of their characterful traits. While they appeared to act as one single minded group in the first book, they are slowly starting to show individual traits. I'm liking this even more. I would like to know more about their past too. This seems like a very interesting story.
The ending was so cute and so unexpected from Hawthorne. I like surprises.
I am interested to see if they will form a relationship or not... also if she and Hawthrone will ever get along? I'm also wondering if she will tell them her whole story?
I am a bit sad that I have to pay 2.99 Euros for 100 pages ))): I wish I could read through them all in one go but now I have to pace myself.. ):
Cleo knows how to write a hot and erotic book. These three men are any women's fantasy. Even though Romeo and Slade are the ones any woman would want. It's Hawthorne you crave and feel. His power just threw his voice alone could make any woman wet. But, it's his behind the mask (that you know as a reader) feeling of the love he has in his soul for the one woman he can't get enough of. I can't wait for the next book.
To stay away from her past Lindsay has to say and do things that prevent any realness with the people she is 'friends' with, that includes Romeo, Slade and Hawthorne. No matter how much they make her safe, she knows her past will never allow it.
Her past comes to roost and she is recognized and in jeopardy. Can she be open or with more lies and half truths risk her new friendships and put her in danger.
When the rest of the books was for sale, I had to read more of them, just to see if the relationship between Lindsey and the men was getting better. I kind of felt sad for Lindsey. I felt like the men just used her, and didn't give a thing about her feelings. But I was curious and have now read the whole series, and it will evolve into something better with more feelings.
I know this is one of those series that I'll read to the end. I have to know what happens! I would have preferred it to be maybe split into two books - I no sooner get my teeth into it and it's finished and I've got to order the next one.
Lindsay gets a new position with the three, one that keeps her with lots of smexin, but they demand only truth from her. Can she trust them? Quick read, lots of smut and three Alpha males.
