A girl no one can see.
A boy who dares to look.

In a world veiled by shadows, she awakens to a haunting loneliness — invisible to everyone she once loved. Lost in an endless night, the only soul who can see her is a mysterious boy.

When their worlds quietly collide, two fragile hearts find each other amidst the darkness, bound by a longing neither fully understands. Together, they navigate a delicate dance of desire and truth, where love glimmers like a fragile flame fighting the night.

She’s caught between life and death — not gone, but no longer alive. Will their love be enough to uncover the secrets that keep her lost in the dark, or will she vanish forever into the silence?

🌙🖤 Lost in the Dark by Tamara Krpić – ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Yes, it was only 170 pages... and yes, I loved every single second of it. 😭📖✨ I flew through this book because I just couldn't put it down.

I honestly didn't expect the writing to be this good. 🤯💖 It was beautifully written, and for such a short book, everything felt so well done. The length was absolutely perfect, and the writing was just a chef's kiss. 👩‍🍳💋✨

What surprised me the most was that even though it's a shorter book, there was still a mystery woven throughout the story that kept me hooked. 🕵️‍♀️🌙 I didn't feel like I was missing anything, and it never felt rushed.

This is the perfect book if you want the feeling of an entire fantasy series without committing to four huge books. 🏰⚔️📚✨ It gives you so much in such a short amount of time.

I 100% recommend this book! 🌟🤍 And if you can, please support this amazing indie author. 🥹📖💕 They absolutely deserve more readers.

This story has such an intriguing and unique concept, and once the central mystery begins to unfold, it becomes genuinely captivating. The author has a wonderful talent for imagery — there are moments in this book that are so vivid and atmospheric. Some lines in particular were beautifully written :
• “The dust motes caught in it didn’t seem to drift—they hovered, frozen in golden, ethereal light like insects in amber.”
• “The air didn’t just smell like paint—it smelled like relentless effort, like long sleepless nights under buzzing fluorescent lights, like fragile dreams half-formed and smudged away with the heel of the hand.”
• “You are the light that carried me through darkness, the anchor that kept me grounded when the world threatened to pull me apart.”

Moments like these show so much promise and a really strong creative voice.

As a debut, there are naturally areas that could be strengthened, and I’m sharing them because I can see how much potential the story and the author have.

There are times when the writing leans heavily on repeated words or multiple adjectives, which can make certain descriptions feel a bit overwhelming and distracting. Toning those moments down would give the most powerful images more room to shine. The emotional core of the story is strong, but the romance might have benefitted from a little more time spent building chemistry and connection between the characters to make their bond feel fully developed.

There were also a few story details I wished had been explored more — especially the rituals, how they work, as well as the timeline surrounding Victoria’s disappearance. A bit more clarity around those elements (and a couple of moments where character information seemed to conflict) would make the plot feel even more grounded and cohesive.

Overall, this is a debut full of creativity, atmosphere, and heart. With some tightening in the writing and more development in key story areas, I can absolutely see this author growing into a powerful storyteller. The foundation is already there, and it’s clear they have a real gift for vivid, emotional writing

I loved the book! It explores themes of self preservation and themes of deep love! Literally our main male lead takes the girls place in the shadow realm so he could save her, he belives that she can save both of them! I loved this book! Recommend
