Charlotte Hines hadn't moved to South York to find a mate.
It was rare for an omega to be accepted into the prestigious Master's program at South York University. Even rarer for them to be awarded an internship at a publishing house. And sure, the three alphas in the c-suite might make her want to bend over the nearest desk, but that's fine. And maybe she'd had to beg and plead a sympathetic consulate to give her a one-year student visa since she was an unmated omega without any guardians, but she'd figure out how to get an extension on that... right?
Wrong. And, as it turns out, prestigious publishing houses won't employ omegas with expired visas. When Charlotte finds herself suddenly in need of a way to pay her tuition, a chance meeting with a matchmaker winds up with Charlotte being offered to a pack as their sugar baby. No strings attached, no emotional involvement, definitely no falling in love. Should be simple, right? She's just here to finish her degree. Desperate times and all that.
Except that the pack she's being offered to are her old bosses, the three alphas she'd had a crush on for the past year. And to make matters worse, it turns out they really like when she calls them daddy. But these alphas aren't her boyfriends, and they're definitely not her daddy. No strings attached, remember? But Charlotte's heart strings are definitely attached, and if she loses them, she's going to lose a whole lot more than a student visa.

This was a quick read. This had the potential to be a really great book. Unfortunately, it fell a bit flat for me. The main focus felt like it was the smexy scenes. There could’ve been more workplace drama/outside drama. The characters were well written, and I enjoyed the connection they had. I look forward to more developed stories from this author
The FMC Charlotte annoyed me a lot, I don’t know how she can be so smart but so stupid at the same time. She is said to be very intelligent but she’s clueless when it comes to Alphas or social situations in general.
I didn’t connect with any of the characters and the writing was lacking.
Omegas never seem to catch a break in the Omegaverse, and Charlotte is no exception. She’s clawed her way through life without the safety net of family or a mate, building a fragile little world on sheer grit and determination. But when her visa expires, the carefully balanced life she’s constructed collapses in spectacular fashion—job gone, scholarship revoked, and her place at university hanging by a thread. With tuition due and options dwindling, she ends up waitressing in a dive bar, where her co-worker Gwen casually suggests becoming a sugar baby to a pack and letting them foot the bill. Desperation makes strange bedfellows. Charlotte reluctantly agrees, only to discover that her prospective benefactors are none other than Tomas, Silas, and Alex, the powerful trio who own the company where she had worked. They’ve always noticed her. More than that, they’ve been quietly searching for an Omega to complete their pack. So, what begins as a no-strings-attached “arrangement” is, of course, anything but. That said, their first night together felt a little too transactional for my taste. The emotional groundwork was thin, and before Charlotte (or I) could fully catch up, she was being swept into their bed. Yes, she neglected to mention her inexperience, but Silas and Alex’s intensity bordered on rough, and I found myself wishing someone, anyone, would pause long enough to have an actual conversation. The constant miscommunication became frustrating. Charlotte’s uncertainty about where she stood made sense; the Alphas’ reluctance to admit she was their mate and that they wanted her permanently, felt far less forgivable. It was two steps forward, one step back for much of the story, with angst that sometimes felt self-inflicted. Of the three, Alex was my favorite. He was the least intimidating, the most emotionally transparent, and the first to acknowledge what they all clearly felt. Silas was a close second—the caretaker of the pack, indulgent and nurturing, prone to spoiling their partners with gifts and quiet affection. Tomas, the de facto leader, proved more polarizing. His protective streak tipped into overbearing territory, especially when he punished Charlotte after discovering her living and working conditions. Frankly, I couldn’t help but think they should have been more concerned about her struggles from the outset, rather than reacting with dominance after the fact. As for the spice, there’s plenty of it, which isn’t surprising given the premise. Still, there were moments when Charlotte seemed more overwhelmed than empowered, and for someone described as exceptionally intelligent, she often felt uncharacteristically passive in intimate situations. The “Daddy” dynamic, too, felt slightly out of sync with the established Alpha/Omega framework. That said, I did genuinely enjoy the softer elements, particularly the way they purred to soothe her, which added a tender, almost feral sweetness to the bond forming between them. In the end, I believed that Tomas, Silas, and Alex truly cared for Charlotte. Their feelings were never in doubt. But the relentless push-and-pull stretched the story thinner than necessary, padding the emotional arc with conflict that could have been resolved with a few honest conversations. Still, for readers who enjoy angsty, spice-heavy Omegaverse romance with possessive Alphas and a hard-won happily-ever-after, there’s plenty here to sink your teeth into. Three alphas. One omega who thinks she’s temporary. They have other plans.
When omega Charlotte’s one step from losing her visa, her scholarship, and her home, she agrees to a sugar arrangement with three powerful alphas she once interned for. She expects rules and control, maybe a little affection. What she doesn’t expect is to be undone by kindness. They don’t just want her body. They want her trust, her submission, and her scent in every room they own.
Silas is quiet but relentless, grounding her with steady hands and unwavering care. Tomas is fire and force, always first to act and last to let go. And Alex is the calm in the storm, sharp-eyed and smiling as he sees right through her. One by one, they tear down the walls she built to survive.
What starts as a contract turns into something tangled and real. Her heat’s coming, and with it, the risk of being seen, claimed, and kept. She tells herself she’s just temporary, but when she tries to walk, they make it clear she’s not going anywhere.
Charlotte starts out alone and bracing for loss. Her alphas begin as protectors with their own limits. But over time, control gives way to care, fear gives way to connection, and every line between them starts to blur. Their bond stops being about the rules and starts being about need, trust, and love that refuses to let go.
A dark, ultra-steamy, age gap omegaverse romance with possessive alphas, workplace tension, knotting, first heat, nesting, biting, and praise kink, exploring trauma recovery, power exchange, identity, submission, emotional safety, and chosen family. t’s about an omega who’s never had a home, three alphas who refuse to let her go, and a bond that goes deeper than instinct.
The Elevator Pitch: An emotionally raw, high-heat omegaverse where a guarded omega is unraveled by three fiercely devoted alphas. What begins as a transactional arrangement spirals into a bond built on love, power, submission, and unwavering care. It’s dark, intense, and unapologetically intimate, with knotting, nesting, and a love that refuses to let go.
There is no relationship building. We are told that the FMC has a crush on the three alphas, but we don't get much of a look of her life BEFORE it changes. For a supposedly smart woman, the FMC does some really stupid things, such as failing to tell the alphas beforehand that she's a virgin.
I get that the idea of knots is pretty hot, but an older alpha would probably ask before shoving his knot into a woman he thinks is his mate. If there is a reason to justify that, the author should have explained more clearly. "Rut" is mentioned briefly, but there is no context to know if that's why he did it. There is no discussion of her limits, and one of the MMC spanks her and denies her orgasms later. Anyone, and I mean ANYONE, who has even dabbled in BDSM knows how important consent is. Especially in this case when the FMC is newly deflowered and knows next to nothing.
The lack of context seems to be common. There is zero world building. We don't know where the FMC is now or where she is from. Other novels pull this off well enough, but this one simply does not. There are also things written in the book that just make no sense. One example:
She's not offered a menu, but she's used to them ordering for her at this point.
Why is she used to them ordering for her at this point? This is the first dinner date they've had once they start a sexual relationship with her. They did take her to lunch when she worked for them, but I assume they didn't order for her then since the writer didn't specify. Also, why did she randomly call them Daddy? Yes, it's hot, but did she read that somewhere and remembered it because it appealed to her?
The premise of the story had a lot of potential, but the writing failed to deliver.
The start of this book is stressful in the best way. Truly — how many bad things can happen to one person in a single day? Everything the FMC has been working toward, sacrificing for, holding together with sheer grit… flattened without warning. She’s already living right on the edge of poverty, with no family, no support system, and no safety net, and suddenly even that fragile stability is gone. It hits hard.
The male main characters are fantastic. They’re so different from one another, yet they fit together perfectly as a pack. Each brings something unique to the unit, and they all respect the rules, the structure, and the systems that keep them grounded.
Their initial coming‑together moment is genuinely funny — I won’t spoil it, but it fits the Daddy Dom storyline beautifully. And I really appreciated that this is a mild Daddy Dom dynamic. They give her the structure and steadiness someone without a father figure might crave, but it never goes too far. It felt comfortable and balanced.
The back‑and‑forth between them is excellent. The misunderstandings make sense, the emotional beats land, and the interactions between each MMC and the FMC feel perfectly tailored to their personalities. The spice is REAL. Nothing feels forced; it all unfolds in a way that absolutely could happen in any reality.
And as always, the Omegaverse shines for me. The care they take with one another — even in the hardest moments — is exactly why I keep coming back to this genre.
Definitely recommend.

Charlotte has worked her arse off to get to where she is. She has had to, to keep her scholarship in the Master of Arts programme. But it all hinges on a visa, which is hard to have when she is an unbonded omega with no living family or guardianship. So when she loses her internship with a leading Publication house, she has to scramble for work, as she needs money to live. She needs to try to come up with a solution, as she knows her scholarship will also be lost.
When she takes a job that pays under the counter, she is approached with the chance of making some extra money. Will Charlotte go for it? Charlotte knows she has to bite the bullet if she wants to finish her education and accept this other job. Only to get a very big surprise when she does.
Alex, Silas, and Tomas work together in business and live together as a pack. But when tension starts getting high, they take a friend up on an offer to help ease it, but boy, are they in for a surprise when they see who ends up in front of them.
Charlotte needs to consider the offer that is put to her. Can she do it? But she knows she must if she wants to finish her education. Charlotte has had no one but herself to rely on in years, so she relishes being taken care of by the Alphas. But knowing that it is only a temporary measure weighs heavily on her. Have they ruined her for any other relationship?.

I loved Harley Madison's Sugar Baby series, and this reminded me a lot of that (except there's a HEA). Our FMC Charlotte is a student who is barely getting by. She's an Omega who has never had her heat and doesn't have a scent yet. She's been working in an office, but here visa won't renew since she hasn't got her scent yet. She's working in a Dive bar where she meets Gwen who suggests she join a "sugar daddy" program where Gwen can match her with a pack and she can cover her tuition. Imagine her surprise when she goes to the first meeting and sees Alex, Silas and Tomas. They are the wealthy owners of the office where she's been working. They've been looking for an Omega who is smart, and talented and Charlotte is all of that. She was crushing on them the whole time she worked with them, and turns out the feelings were reciprocated. Of course with an omega and a pack of Alphas the spice is HOT. The story is sweet as they dance around each other and finally realize what everyone's feelings truly are. No 3d act breakups here! I loved that Charlotte was so talented and that her pack really wanted to encourage her growth (beyond just the physical relationship). If you want a sweet and spicy book this is perfect for you.

I really enjoyed this book. I’m generally not one for large age gaps but unfortunately I love daddy dom’s and they don’t usually exist without an age gap. So that’s kinda just a personal opinion thing. They were all very sexy though. ugh, the way he wrapped his hand on her throat to put her in her place when she was getting sassy was perfect 😮💨 The reason why I gave it 4 was because of the fact of how irritating it was her assumptions instead of voicing her concerns. Like I understand why because it made sense for her background and the situation 🤷♀️ I already have enough communication issues in my life, sometimes a girl just wants to escape reality lol. The spice was definitely spicy and they were very attentive to her. I wish they would have pushed a little more and been open with their intentions? I just want everyone to love each other dammit 😂 Do check content warning! There are a couple kinks that are not for everyone. It isn’t my thing but I just skipped over the scene. I wasn’t going to let it stop me since I was enjoying the rest of the book and wanted to see their HEA.

From the intro: "There is an aspect of dubious consent in this novel. The FMC is in a desperate situation and uses sex work as a last resort, which does not allow for freely given consent. There is a great deal of discussion about sex work. This is an act of fiction and does not reflect my own views. Sex work is real work, it does not in any way reduce someone's value, and we must do more to protect sex workers legally, practically, emotionally, etc. The MMC sometimes become overcome by their own desires and hormonal urges and are not always mindful of their partner's wellbeing. There is undeniably a power imbalance in their relationship, which also affects communication and consent. This does not represent how healthy relationships should look in real life. There are scenes which involve orgasm denial, spanking, watersports, and daddy dom dynamics with absolutely terrible (almost non-existent) kink etiquette. Do not try this at home. I'm writing porn. Please suspend your disbelief and if you have triggers, please read with caution.".

Charlotte is an unscented, unbonded omega. Working as an intern in a publishing house, the three Alpha bosses had always been kind to her. With her visa expiring she needs to find money fast. A chance encounter with Gwen who arranges meetings between Omegas and potential Sugar-Alphas, sees Charlotte set up for a meeting with a pack who are looking for a 'no strings' arrangement Silas, Alex and Tomas don't realise that the sweet Omega from their publishing house has had to find another source of income. After the first night together, the three alphas can't get Charlotte out of the heads and hearts but she is convinced that they only want her as an Omega to bridge the gap until they find their fated mate. This is another great book by Lavinia. The characters develop through the story and the spice level is high. 🌶️🌶️.

Charlotte is so clueless.. when it comes to alphas. She works her butt off to get where she is and almost loses it because what of what she is... Than when Gwen offers to help find help she is soo clueless about the alphas she has has the biggest dreamy crush on.
Tomas,Silas & Alex are three steamy dreamy successful alphas that have come across Charlotte only to have her be fired from their company without them knowing. When they met up with her again they know they can't live without her.
This author writes some great steamy scenes. She walks the line between bdsm, taboo, and good old fashion raunchy down and dirty sex. Her character and setting come to life as if you are there with them.
I hope there is more to come.

I really enjoyed this omegaverse. Charlotte is a student who gets let go as a intern because of her visa is expired and is forced to find a job at the bar because it pays under the table. She takes Gwen up on her offer to set her on a date with a pack but little does she know it's the pack from the job she was just let go from. She is offered a no strings attachment so she can continue to pay for her schooling. While she is unscented and hasn't had a heat yet, Charlotte tries to school her feelings for these three alphas but eventually becomes more than she can handle before they finally tell her that they want her to be their mate. This was my first book by Lavinia Arbor and definitely wont be the last. Definitely recommend.

Usually books can take too long to get to the good stuff, but this one jumped in too fast for me. There was almost no set up, and even at the end of the book I didn’t really feel like I knew any of the characters. It could use a good editor, there were plenty of typos and mixed tenses. I also think most aspects of the story could have used a bit more explaining. How exactly did charlotte slip through the cracks and become an omega without a guardian? Why did it take so long for her perfume to come in even after being around compatible alphas for so long? There were also no side characters…idk just not a story. Only porn. And the lack of communication between her and her men was ridiculous and frustrating.

Charlotte has worked incredibly hard to keep moving forward despite repeated hardships, and being a lone omega only makes her journey more challenging.
The guys are a solid, well-matched pack, each offering something different while respecting the structure and rules that keep them grounded and united.
The angst created by miscommunication between Charlotte and the guys adds tension as they learn how to navigate their feelings for each other. Watching trust build alongside desire made the connection feel earned and real.
With tons of chemistry and plenty of spice, this story delivers a satisfying mix of heat, emotion, and found family that keeps you turning the pages.

This is Book 1 of the South York Sugarverse series. And a great start it is! Look forward to more from this world.

The characters were so very appealing and likeable and perfectly steamy together. Plot was well written and straightforward. World building was excellent and impressive. Thoroughly enjoyed and highly recommend.

Although this is told in third person and took me a few chapters to really get immersed in, this was such a warm, sweet omegaverse. I felt so much for Charlotte and her anxiety. She has been on her own her entire life so I get her hesitancy around whether or not the alphas care for her or if it’s just the “arrangement.” Tomas, Alex, and Silas are such caregivers and it was so sweet. I loved how they provided for her and comforted her. And the spice!!! So much spice. Good spice too! I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. Great quick read- perfect palate cleanser.
A lot of things in this book just rubbed me the wrong way. One of my biggest issues with books containing BDSM elements is the lack of communication and clear consent. The author DID put a note about some possible dubcon but numerous times the MMCs pushed, ignored "no"s, and skipped aftercare (despite playing the "daddy" character). They keep saying how intelligent the FMC is but we don't see any relationship building besides sex.
I'm also very unclear on everyone's nationalities. Where are we and where tf did we come from??
Knot My Daddy delivers on spice with bold, unapologetically filthy scenes that omegaverse readers will appreciate. While some repetitive internal dialogue, miscommunication, and tense switching were distracting, the book ultimately meets genre expectations and is a solid choice for readers seeking high-heat, taboo romance.

Overall a really good story. The whole sugar to mates arc is great. Lots of Omegaverse have welthy pack poor omega but this book they call a spade is a spade. So much spice you my spontaneously combust. A few thing kinda threw me. 1 The whole 3rd person multiple pov was a challenge for me. 2 Some of the word choice was unexpected and at times clinical. Both things didn’t significant detract from the writing quality. Just not my personal jam.
Was okay but nothing to write home about. I kept waiting for more to happen but it got a bit boring. It felt like there was a bit too much smut and not enough plot. Had a decent idea but this probably would’ve done better as a short story like the author mentioned this was intended to be. There wasn’t enough going on for the length of story that it was and I didn’t feel like I really got more than a basic understanding of the male characters and their personalities to tell them apart
A page turner! Very spicy! Charlotte didn't think she deserved love, but then by chance she found 3 hot alphas who needed a sugar baby. They didn't expect her, their intern that they were secretly crushing on. She didn't expect them, her bosses she was secretly crushing on. I absolutely love the happy ending, and the marriage proposal in Italy, in a church filled with roses, yes please!!!!!
Student visa expires and now Omega Charlotte has no job. She meets 3 hot alphas on a 'sugar daddy/baby' date and finds out that they are or were her bosses. Arrangement made but feelings follow. And with lack of communication from both sides mixed signals are given and Charlotte decides to walk. Right as that decision is made, so is another. Will she stay or will she go?.

I was right near the end of this book- like 1/16th left or something- and then watersports. Immediate and severe ICK. If you are cool with that king I highly recommend this book. But I draw a hard line at bodily fluids. I can do tears, satisfaction, and sweat- I can even do blood and milk but that’s it. No other bodily fluids. DNF.
The book is not a short read, but it could be. There is plenty of spice but for a longer novella not enough world building. The angst is a bit too much as well. Depending on what floats your boat you might enjoy it, but for me she way too clueless for someone who should be smart.

In the beginning before chapter one the author says something about how she writes porn. So ya this wasn't bad for such a short romance all about sex. Those guys were very dominant.
