⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Thank you to the Author for allowing me to adv read Bouncing Back and I hope to continue the series as it carries on!
Here’s your warning now: there are SPOILERS ahead!
I found this one to be cute, emotional, funny, romantic and spicy! It will pull at some heart strings, it will throw you in an emotional rollercoaster and it will even get you wanting to fight a certain side character. Izzy, a new mother, is suffering with PPD, her ex boyfriend/baby daddy & her creepy landlord. But with help from her new friends Eric & his husband Liam and her neighbours Sally & Nate, she finds a new normalcy in her life. Till one day something happens to Izzy and she needs out! Nate comes to the rescue with his family’s holiday home and she moves away from her current troubles into a safe space for her & Oliver. Everything starts looking up for Izzy, she’s making memories, enjoying cute, fun & loving moments with her son, new friends and family, preparing for her new bakery with help from her dad and igniting a saucy relationship with Nate! And boy, are they IGNITING! Izzy is one 🌶️ lady! Whether it’s up a tree, in a car or anywhere basically, they can’t keep their hands off of one another!
Nate’s past is an emotional one, you can’t help but feel for him. People judge him so quickly but when you really get to know his character, you start to see why he shelters away from people and only has a select amount of friends. And when a particular person turns up nearer to the end, it had my crying!
Eric hands down is my fave, I love his personality! The guy is ADDICTED to Izzy’s baking and their best friend relationship is everything two friends should have 💕 he’s loving, caring and adorable!
James & George can both just burn in hell!!!!!! James, an absolutely pathetic excuse of a man, can’t even be bothered with Oli and is freaking irritates me! The way he reacted really annoyed me! George, ARGHHHHH! The guy is freaking CREEPY!!!!
Side note mushy bit: It’s heartwarming to see your bestie’s achieve a new level of their passion, and I’m so proud of LR Moon! I’ve read most of her work/WIPs to date (which I’ve always enjoyed) and this one really shows how far she’s come in her author journey. You’ve hit metaphorical walls, cried, gotten annoyed and wanted to give up but you kept going and you should be so proud of yourself 💛💛💛

I got the chance to be a BETA reader for this book, and it's my first beta read experience and I am absolutely ecstatic for it to be my first with Bouncing Back.
I absolutely adored this book! It didn't take too long to read, especially when you get sucked in!
Nathan and Izzy very quickly became my favourite book couple! I love the way they started out, especially with Nathan being broody and unsociable for the first few chapters. They have both grown into a lovely couple with 2 little kids 🥹 Yes I know Oliver isn't technically Nathan's, however he's been the daddy since day 1. The way Nathan offered to watch Oliver within only knowing Izzy for a few days immediately made me like him, he didn't have too, but he saw her struggling and wanted to help, and thus my favourite book couple was born 🥰
George however... In the voice of Mrs Brown "That's nice". Absolutely hated him, however he was written disgustingly well! I loved, how much I hated him. I caught myself openly shouting, swearing and yelling at my kindle everytime George appeared 🤣
Liam and Eric - My absolute favourite gay couple. Just pure chaos and I absolutely adore them 🥹 The amount of support level they have for Izzy too. The best of friends in my opinion.
Nathan discussing his loss of the baby with Izzy broke my heart, but it hit the emotions on the head of the nail. Very raw and you don't see many men in books talking about this sort of situation, so I adored it even more. Nathan being so open and honest has my heart.
THE APPLE TREE - Need I say more? 10/10. My favourite smut scene in this book 🤣
I feel very honoured to have been a BETA reader for this, and to the author: L.R Moon. Thank you so much, and this book has been an blast and such a journey 🥰 I'm proud! 🥹

Thank you to the author for allowing me to receive an advanced copy of Bouncing Back. I really enjoyed both the main characters and the peripheral characters who (I’m hoping) we’ll get to know better in the rest of the series. I loved that the story, while cosy and romantic, touched upon some more serious topics, although I probably would have liked some of those themes to have continued longer to create more tension in the book - it felt like they were handled very quickly leaving a lot of the book to be more day-to-day romantic dialogue between the main couple. That said, the story arc overall was a good one and sets up the series well.

Wow. This book was an emotional rollercoaster that had me glued to the pages. L.R. Moon doesn’t shy away from tough topics-grief, trauma, survival-but balances it beautifully with sizzling chemistry and heart-melting moments. Izzy is such a strong, resilient heroine, and Nathan’s grumpy-protector energy gave me all the feels. Their story is messy, raw, and spicy in the best way, but also full of healing and hope. If you love your romance with depth, drama, and a whole lot of heat, Bouncing Back is a must-read.
It was such a cute story. I adored baby Oliver and the two MCs were amazing!
I didn't necessarily like that "men don't cry" was drilled into the MMC but I love that the FMC helped him to see that it's ok to cry in front of her. Everything about the book was super cute, I adored the ending and I can't wait to read more of this series!!
Thank you for the ARC copy, I’m so happy to have been selected.
This book was amazing with just the right amount of drama and spice. I loved reading about all the characters and their relationships, and loved watching Nate and Izzy fall in love. Can’t wait for the next books in this universe!
Thank you to L.R. Moon for allowing me to have a BETA copy of this book and to see it all come to life. I'm am beyond grateful to have been able to read this along with you and discuss it.
I actually read this book twice during the BETA process so I am 100% confident in telling you. you need to read this book.
This book does not overlook the hard topics such as grief & trauma, but the way it is handled is so perfectly written, but not in a way that's "right it's all ok now" it's a process and one that is shown throughout the book, and how they tackle and overcome and help each other make life more bearable.
Izzy is a beautiful ray of sunshine who has had a not so easy past, when she meets grumpy Nathan her life changes, but so does his, this is a story of the family that protect you no mater what, those who are blood and the amazing ones you find along the way, the ones who you choose to be your family.
Neither one of the main characters is pushy or expecting of anything, they are just trying to learn to adapt to the world around them whilst holding each other up along the way.
Eric is my absolute favourite character, he is so kind and thoughtful and protective of Izzy that you cannot help but love him and his character.
A lovely grumpy x sunshine, pain in my arse, funny at times, serious at others, found family, love story.
I recieved an ARC copy for review, unfortunately I just don't think this authors style of writing is for me. It's not a bad book by any stretch of the imagination but I wouldn't say it's a great book either. I feel conflicted as the book was roughly 80% dialogue, I don't like books with too much descriptive text but there has to be some balance and I found this lacking.
A lot of people abbreviate words when they talk "I've instead of I have, couldn't instead of could not, you're instead of you are" the written dialogue didn't do that so the characters felt almost robotic.
The storyline was good, single mum, new hot grumpy neighbour turns out to be not so grumpy, the bedroom scenes where well written and not cringy but it all felt rushed. The immediate friendships between his friends and her felt too sudden and the hugging, touchy feely emotions from both the leads were instantaneous with no real build up. The ground work was there, I just feel it needed more. 3 🌟
This book had me feeling a whole range of emotions, I laughed, I cried, I felt anger for Izzy and fell in love with Nathan! The author approaches difficult subjects with sensitivity and both MC's are there to support each other through the hard times with love, care and communication 💕 The writing style throughout the book is different to what I'm used to and that took some time to understand however it fit well in with the story and I ended up loving it! The relationship between Izzy and Nathan was so positive and their ability to communicate together and move forward was so refreshing to read 🥰
Honestly, it took me a little while to get into but it's so good. The range of emotions this book had me go through, I swear, I have whiplash. It's not afraid to show some extreme themes, but handles them so well. The relationship dynamic was so cute to see! When I got into it, I couldn't put it down as I just wanted to see more of the two MCs together. It's addictive! I can't wait to read more from this world and see what else happens!
I was lucky to read this as a ARC and I’m so glad I did. Such a good book! Exploring the relationship of Izzy and Nathan and experiencing all their ups and downs together is heartwarming. Spicy in all the right ways too!
Absolutely amazing story will definitely hit some emotional spots but other then that it’s a great read I loved the plot and the characters it was an absolute incredible read
I could not put this book down it was that good. The main characters were incredible I loved how easy the story was to follow and loved the pace of the book. This book sure did have me laughing in some parts as well as tears. With in the book the author speaks about difficult situations but i love how she has done this as it makes the main characters relatable to the readers. Izzy and Nathan had to overcome so much but i love how they were each other’s person to lean on when times got tough. I loved their banter and chemistry through out the book. i can not wait to continue reading more of L.R Moons work.
I received this as an arc read in return for my honest review.
