Steele Sometimes it takes losing everything to figure out what’s important. I lost my marriage, but I’m determined to do right by my kid. I found a brotherhood when I patched into the Heller Raiders. After going through an ugly divorce, I didn’t think I’d want another relationship. My kid’s teacher is beautiful and hard to resist. I want her in my bed and on the back of my bike.
Jaymi Grief and betrayal have me locked in a box I can’t escape. I wouldn’t survive without the children in my class. One little girl has my heart. But her father is muscle and mayhem, covered in ink, and riding a Harley. He’s trouble and trouble always seems to find me. I know I’m not supposed to judge a book by its cover, but I know how this story will end.
Steele is book 8 in the Heller Raiders MC series. I love this series, the characters, the drama and the spice. Technically this is a standalone story that can be read on its own and has a HEA but I absolutely recommend starting from the beginning. There are many characters, past events and locations that are reference or appear here in Steele and the entire series is too good to miss!
Steel is ultimately about found/formed family, brotherhood and relationships. Be prepared for some betrayal, trauma, grieving of lost loved ones, divorce, a young child caught in a custody dispute, PTSD and heartbreak so make sure you have some tissues handy because Steele and Jaymi’s story is intense.
There is also plenty of growth, healing, compassion, friendship and steamy attraction. This book is well written, has a strong storyline and I was completely entertained. The Heller Raiders is one of my favorite MC series and I cannot wait for more!
I also suggest KyAnn’s series, Initiation into Submission: High Protocol, and although this series can also stand on its own, it does at one point crossover with the Heller Raiders series so I recommend that too.
Jump right in these bad boys and feisty women are waiting!
Oh hell what a ride! What a story to conclude the series. I love Brett and Jaymi. Their path to happiness is so sweet but heartfelt. The ugly things in life and how to accept a second chance is just so real. I'm sad we are finished with the Hellers but excited to see what's next.
