But now she’s gone.
Vanished.
And I’m left surrounded by the letters that haunted her.
Letters that now haunt me.

First I do want to start by giving a general trigger warning for this book. If you have read Hide then you're likely already aware of this, but if you're considering the series from the start it is something to be aware of.

Spoilers! If you have not read Hide this review will contain spoilers!

Intense. One word and it sums up so much of the story. Hide left us with one major cliffhanger and this one definitely delivered on ramping things up even more!

Jamie has been taken, Nathan was bleeding to death and Mitch is scrambling to figure out what is going on.

Jamie has a tough road ahead of her, being in her worst nightmare made even worse by the made worse by the secrets she has to keep to protect those she loves. How will she get away from a man who seems to have thought of everything to ensure she can't escape?

Mitch is going out if his mind. While everyone else begins to doubt her, he alone knows that she was taken and needs rescuing and he will do anything to save her. But will he uncover all of the pieces of the puzzle in time?

Mitch has grown so much from Conklin's Blueprints and I have enjoyed seeing his dedication and devotion as he has learned to accept that there are good things in his life if he is just open to seeing them.

It has taken a lot for Jamie to let down her walls and while some of it was forced she had already made the decision to open up more which was some huge growth for her that we saw throughout Hide as well as this one.

I was on the edge of my seat throughout this entire story putting the pieces together with Mitch, hoping Jamie found a way out and just waiting for the two of them to get their happily ever after. It is so easy to fall in love with these characters and to feel like you are right there a part of their lives as they are trying to figure things out and I just absolutely loved it!

Some spin offs stories leave you wanting but this one was definitely not one of those it delivered more than you would have ever expected and was a great addition to seeing more of the Conklin men and their stories!

"Give it to Brooke Page to create suspenseful stories and make readers obsessed with them."

Oh my gosh what an epic ending! Seek, the third book of Obsession series, managed to keep me on the edge the whole time. Maneuvering between the possibilities of seeing Jamie been abducted forever or finally unmasking Rod once and for all, made me a total wreck. Reading Seek it was like watching a very well filmed, romance-suspence-thriller movie. It gave every detail, every angle of the story the best possible illustration providing me the best view of what is performed infront of my eyes. With a fluent writing style, just like Obsession and Hide, and being honest to precision so nothing would felt missing, Seek is the best ending for the Obsession series. Fast-paced, with many twists and turns, is a fully consuming book with a happy ever after ending, which truly made me a happy crying tears reader.

Best part of Seek is Mitch's behavior. Watching his constant willingness to find out what happened to Jamie, his devotion and support for her family and his family, his undeniable love and believe for her, are few of what I saw, that helped me get to know him better and love him of what he truly was. When his cocky attitude changed to mindful and he finally accepted his diversity, no one knew except Jamie, Mitch saw clearly what had happened to Jamie and who was behind all these. I loved how Mitch's character unfolded through the story. I was now falling for him, screaming at him when he couldn't see the abvious, fighting beside him when he tried to save the love of his life or when winning her back. I could never expect less from him.

Jamie's part was also arresting! Too many things are happening from her side in the story, most of them creepy and awful, but she managed to get through all the circumstances with the strong determination to survive. Her willingness to be free, made her accept all the sadistic things Rod made to her body. Playing well the role to be in love with him, Jamie tried to earn Rod's trust so he won't hurt the ones she really loved. Her fear was palpable throughout the story but she show courage and strength all the way. I was totally in owe with her, watching her how she fought her deamons and then, how she crash her walls to let Mitch inside again.

Rod's the epitome of deception. Throughout the series, too many times I was like "Nah, he isn't! He couldn't be. It doesn't look like he actually is." But he was and it was creepy as hell. He would decive everyone and play everything he had to keep Jamie for himself. He had perfectly planned everything for the forever life he dreamed to have with Jamie, determined to create a family with her, as awful as it sounds. Creepy right!!! Anyway, he didn't make it and he didn't make it because "Karma's a bitch" and she came back for revenge. Well, not actually Karma but the result was the same and I don't feel sympathy for him, at all. He deserves what happened to him.

I honestly feel that I can't capture the right wit to describe Seek. More than the first two books, Seek with it's indescribable riveting storyline, nailed me on my couch, earned my attention from the beginning, making me eager to reach the end and devour the love of these two special yet bleeding souls. Jamie and Mitch are so different but at the same time they complete one the other perfectly. It was majorly sweet to watch their interactions every time and laughable when I read his cocky lines to her. The man definitely knows where he stands when it comes to women!!!

My recommendation for this book and the whole series is 100% guaranteed.

So until then my friends, grab your copy and what ever floats your boat (I suggest something strong), and start reading Seek.
Unless you didn't read Obsession yet so I suggest you start with it first, then Hide and last, Seek.

Suspenseful page turner ... brilliant!!

WARNING ... you MUST read HIDE before you read SEEK

This book was absolutely amazing! What an EPIC conclusion to this series. This one had me sitting on the edge of my seat throughout its entirety. Just when I thought I had it all worked out Ms Page would throw in a twist that would have me rethinking absolutely everything. It was a suspenseful page turner from beginning to end - brilliant.

If you have read HIDE you will know that Jamie has been kidnapped and Nathan has been viciously beaten. The questions to be answered are: Will Nathan live? Will Mitch be able to find Jamie? Rod has always been one step ahead of everyone and he has taken Jamie to somewhere no one will find her. All of Jamie's fears have come back to haunt her, surely both Jamie and Mitch deserve to have their chance at happiness - read and see.

Lies, deceit intensity, suspense, fear and inner strength and turmoil are all written beautifully into this thrilling story. Ms Page has written such an extraordinary story that will have you on a knife's edge. The descriptions and emotions that she brings forth were so vivid, that you can't help but see and experience everything that she gives her readers.

A highly recommended read.

This book was amazing. I was on the edge of my seat throughout the whole book. The roller coaster ride of emotions was unbelievable. Brook Page has written another suspense filled story that just grabs you & doesn't let go. The characters of Jamie & Mitch were wonderfully written & their chemistry was off the charts. Mitch was a sweet, sexy but troubled man looking to change his ways of life. Jamie was a sexy, smart & sassy woman with a painful past that kept her looking over her shoulder most of the time. Choices she made as a teenager that she thought she got past reared their ugly head, now Jamie was in the fight of her life. Definitely recommend.

*I received this book for free for my honest opinion*

Just as great as book one and book two were. I loved the suspense and mystery this book had - it kept the reader on their toes trying to figure out how they were going to get out of this predicament.

Paired along with the wonderful story line, strong characters, and a wonderful love story - you'll fall in love with this series to the very end!

This was my first time reading any book written by Brooke Page and I definitely will be looking up more of her work!

WOW JUST WOW! I have been anxiously awaiting the arrival of Seek since the heart stopping conclusion to Hide. YES- you need to read that book first to fully understand what happened to get to this point because things pick up right where the last book left off. Thank goodness for that because I just had to know what was going on and whodunit.

A quick catch-up...Nathan's life is hanging in the balance and Jamie is nowhere to be found. I liked seeing the Conklin brothers band together despite the circumstances. The lead on Jamie's case presumes, with all the evidence, that she has in fact run away. Mitch is having none of that! I loved his determination to find his woman against all the odds being stacked against him. And Jamie, the fierce fighter that she is has her hands more than full with her captor and what he is demanding of her. She was suffering so much and with each passing day it only got worse and worse. My heart just ached for Mitch who was so lost and had nowhere to go with one dead end after another

Seek had everything you could want in a romantic suspense novel. There was mystery, hope, fear, secret codes, family, friendship, lies, deceit, corruption and one twist after another. Just when I think that Jamie and Mitch would catch a break..BAM!!! Another jaw dropping twist. This was my favorite kind of twist though- something that happened to them as opposed to something one or the other did to mess up. My heart was racing and I had no nails left when this one was over. This was Brooke Page's best writing to date. It was bold and daring- she went for it and it paid off- big time! I was glued to my kindle and when all was said and done I was able to let out that breath I had been holding for a few months.

Seek is the conclusion to The Black Letters Series, Jamie and Mitch’s story. At the end of Hide, Jamie is abducted and Nathan is brutally beaten. Will Nathan survive? Who will find Nathan and save Jamie? Unfortunately Rod is the one who abducts Jamie and takes her where she can never escape. Rod knows just how to fool everyone into thinking Jamie left of her own free will, will anyone ever look for her again now that she’s completely hidden away in a place nobody would ever suspect? Jamie must do her best to survive in the worst situation ever. Will Jamie survive her past or will she be pulled under again?

“I’d expressed my love for Jamie, practically ripping my heart out and handing it to her, taking the chance that she’d either stomp on it or cherish it forever.”

Seek will keep you on the edge of your seat, biting your nails, cursing your tail off and ready to pound on Ms. Page’s door to find out what the hell is going on. Hide is a real crazy book, every time you think you understand, the tables are turned and you are left with another big surprise. Get ready for this adventure because Rod is a real Psycho with a capital P! I enjoyed the crazy roller coaster of the Black Letters series, absolutely loved Nathan and Mitch’s characters but I found the story fell short at the end. It felt like it took forever for the actual action to begin and then before we knew it, the book ended. I also felt like too much happened in too little time, all towards the end of the book. I love the connection I felt to the characters and the story, but I just dislike it when there is so much angst all thrown into the end of a book.

dude i am like an emotional mess right now and I don't even know why. do you ever read a book and have nervous anxiety ridden butterflies flopping around in your belly while you read? THAT IS WHAT JUST HAPPENED TO ME! and for real, it was like through 50% of the book.

I mean the cliffy at the end of Hook was devastating to me. probably one of the, dare I say because I hate them, best i may have ever read ..but the way Brooke followed that up with the sequel. struggling to find words right now to explain what she just put me through.

the kicker.. I cried. more than once. I cried from fear. from happiness. shit, maybe I'm just super tired because I can't put this shit down and it's late. all I know is that Brooke must have had a checklist.. what do I want to do to my readers and how can I shock the shit out of them. Brooke, honey, it worked.

finding out the reality behind who Rod was, how deep that went, how trapped she truly was, how Jay thought on her feet, what she did mentally to make it through. just wow. I would have loved to known how it went down when the cops found his "business" via all the scanners. the raid.

I am absolutely floored with what Brooke has done here. emotionally I feel exhausted. mentally I'm still in awe. in reality, I think I fell in love with you a little more Brooke Page.

** ARC PROVIDED BY THE AUTHOR FOR AN HONEST REVIEW **

Brooke Page has hit it out of the park with this heart pounding suspenseful read. You will be glued to your seat while anxiously turning the pages.

Seek is the highly anticipated follow up to Hide and you will need to read book one in order to fully comprehend this complex amazing novel.

We start off with Jamie missing and Mitch crazed with worry over her where a bouts. Time is precious and the proverbial ticktock is as loud as ever.

Jamie is in a position no one should ever be in. Her demons and fears are staring her right in the face.

Both Mitch and Jamie have an uphill battle ahead of them. One is struggling to survive while the other is fighting to get back the one person who has stolen their heart.

Lies will be revealed and in the end the true strength of their love and themselves will be tested like never before.

Deceit, suspense, fear, family ties, and more twists and turns than any ride at Six Flags are all present in this read and that is what makes a great read into an extraordinary one.

While reading this intense drama you will be going through all the motions of piecing together the puzzle and what is uncovered at the end will have you reeling.

Will Mitch be able to find his love before its too late and will these two find their HEA after all is said and done.

I really wish I could give this book more than 5 stars! I loved every word of it. I was waiting impatiently for this as soon as I read the last word in HIDE. I was dying to know what happens to Nathan and how Mitch would save Jamie. I love Mitch, maybe even a little more than Tyler. Mitch is the kind of man I hate to love. He's crude, bad ass, and he speaks his mind, how could you not love him? Poor Jamie has lead a life of secrecy, closed up, and not really living, until Mitch. He makes her feel things, so when she is taken from him she knows she has to fight with her all to get back to him. The suspense in this book was amazing, I don't think I breathed the entire way through. And there was no way of figuring anything out because if you did think you knew what was happening, nope, Brooke blew my frickin mind! I loved it!! And we can't forget the hot sexy scenes either, Brooke knows how to get your heart racing. Suspenseful, romantic, mind blowing, what more could you want?? Make sure to read HIDE first so you don't get lost! I can't wait to read more from Brooke Page, she is definitely one of my favorite authors!

I have been anticipating the follow up to book 1 for so long that I was positively giddy when this book hit my kindle. Even more exhilarating and passionate than Hide, Seek takes you on a journey of monovalent proportions that you will not be able to put it down once you get started.

Seek is one hell of an intense thrill ride that will have you holding your breath and keep you on the edge of your seat until the very end. The story is nothing short of utter brilliance as Ms. Page paints a sordid tale of lies, deceit and forbidden adoration that has one woman gripping the edge of sanity in order to protect a love that she never let herself believe in until that love could very well be the pinnacle piece that saves her life.

Ms. Page does a superb job of keeping the reader on their toes and guessing until the very last minute. You will no doubt be incessantly shocked beyond belief at all the twist and turns and stunned when preceding questions are answered and forgoing fears are brought to light. 5 ++++ Louboutin’s for Seek!

3.5 STARS! Great read full of drama and crazy twists and turns. After Jamie finally admits her true feelings for Mitch in book 1 and they decide to give the relationship a try, she is captured by her crazy stalker / ex-lover and unfortunately no one in her life even knew that this guy existed so finding her proves difficult. Her disappearance is shrouded in mystery with Mitch being the only one who believes there was foul play and she was taken against her will. This is a story about strength, perseverance and faith, as Jamie has to do unspeakable things during her capture just to survive on a day to day basis while Mitch has to have strength and faith that he'll clear Jamie's name and find her. Great characters and great story about "something and/or someone not being exactly as what they are perceived".

The first thing you need to know about SEEK is that you MUST read HIDE first.

I'm not sure I can adequately put into words how much I loved this book. Nathan is injured, Jamie is missing and Mitch is left trying to convince local authorities that she was kidnapped. With a series of twist, the conclusion of Jamie and Mitch's story is an emotional roller coaster that I want to ride again and again. Few books give you that edge of the seat anxiety one moment, and happy feels the next, but Brooke Page managed to do all of that with Seek.

I was not able to put this down, after how book one ended I couldn't wait for book 2. I claimed Mitch I knew he was my favorite Conklin brother. The twist this book had had me screaming out loud with no way's. Mitch never gave up on Jamie knowing she didn't just disappear that something bad happened. While Jamie knew Mitch well enough that he wouldn't give up. Then Rod lets not even talk about that pile of crap. lol Over all this book had a lot of twist and great moments.

Wow!

This was a book that I had very impatiently waited to be released since the first book "Hide" was released. It was definitely worth the wait! I had been on the edge of my seat several times, hanging onto every word while I tried to piece together every clue that was given and ended up being in complete shock by the very unexpected twist the plot had taken that lend to such an amazing outcome.
