Step inside the mind of a psychopath, and watch the woman who loves him descend into his darkness.
Ender Mordecai was never meant to be saved. His thoughts are violent, his past unforgivable, his love a dangerous obsession. Bren Hadley thought she could heal him… but the closer she gets, the darker she becomes.
In his world, saints don’t survive. They burn. They break.
And the woman who swore to love him will learn what it means to become a sinner.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️speechless. wow. ender is by far my favourite. the baggage he carries, the way he’s constantly misunderstood, the feeling of never being good enough and just wanting someone to love you fully despite your flaws, it all resonated with me so deeply and made this book hit even harder. 💔🥹 this story really highlights mental health and how serious it needs to be taken, especially what happens when it isn’t. you see how it shapes a person, how it changes them, and how it affects relationships and friendships. my heart broke when ender shared his story, and seeing how he was treated as a child made it even more painful. bren never left his side. 🥹 i loved how she calmed him down, but never made him feel less than, and how she tried her best to understand him even when the world didn’t give him the time of day. despite his hardships, outbursts, and episodes, he was never alone. the devotion they had to each other, stalker romance or not, was genuinely beautiful and emotional to read. they are truly endgame and they proved that in every way.❤️🩹🦋🖤🏍️🔪🥹
‘I’d been a soul without a home for so fucking long. A ghost drifting through streets, through bodies, through nights that never ended. And then I found Bren. When I looked into her eyes and saw my reflection staring back, I knew. I fucking knew. She was my home. The only place I’d ever belong.’- 🥹
‘Because no matter what anyone thought, the truth was simple: I was never going to stop seeing Ender. I couldn’t. He was carved into me, laced through every fabric of my bones.’-😩🥹
Book 2 of the series is darker than book one that was the book her it’s about a young psychiatrist female and a psychotic male and they become partners and they’re twisted story and they’re twisted families. Please watch all your tropes. This has everything everything a dark erotic book should have it is amazing I couldn’t put it down. I read it in 24 hours. I wish all books kept you this captivated.
Him takes everything that made the first book dark and unsettling and pushes it even further. This one is more twisted, more intense, and definitely comes with several “holy shit, did that just happen?” moments.
Please check trigger warnings before reading, especially for this installment. The discomfort is heavier, the dynamics are darker, and the story does not ease you into any of it.
That said, I loved it. The author fully commits to the darkness, and the story thrives in that uneasy space where nothing feels safe or predictable. I’m completely invested in this series and cannot wait for more.
Man, I wanna say Fuck you Ellie Fuck you y’all for calling him freak Fuck you the dad He deserves better 🥺 So I really like this but I’m giving just a 4 star close to 3.75 cuz there some pages doesn’t need to add (mind you , it’s over 800 pages ) also I got some questions too like so what happen to FMC sister , are they good now or ?? And her dad? Is he ever be better? And what happen to the gun? Will there be book 3?? Cuz there no way that horrible bitch is still breathing this earth… like you could’ve write those instead.. like I need more story more plot of what’s going to happen next. The ending ? Hmm yea .
