Prophesied to be together, but fear of his fate drives them apart!
For thirteen years, Marcus has suspected a prophecy about Brin, a powerful Wyvern healer, also included him. A prophecy he wants no part of. Convinced that fate might one day shackle him to her, he has spent his life in the Lycan military, using battle to channel the frustration she unknowingly ignites. If he can make her hate him, maybe he can escape the destiny he dreads.

For the most part, Brin’s life has been quiet and carefree, except when Marcus is near. He treats her with open disdain, his every word laced with venom. And yet, despite his hostility, the tension between them is electric, unsettling. She should despise him. She does despise him. So why does he consume her thoughts?

But, when a mission to retrieve a missing artefact goes horribly wrong, leaving them alone together, stranded and hunted, neither can afford to keep their guard up any longer. Now, survival depends on trust, an impossible task when every glance between them is a battle, every touch a war.

The tension that has simmered for years finally ignites, and the only thing hotter than their fury is the fire of their attraction.
Can they set aside years of resentment and fear to claim the bond destiny has designed for them? Or will their stubborn pride, or their enemy, burn them to ashes before they ever get the chance?

K.G Inglis is the author with a refreshingly original take on paranormal romance/suspense novels. When not writing about the sexy vampires and alpha lycans and dragons, she can be found reading about them and spending time with her family. Native to Australia, she lives in a beach town on the Southern Coast which many call a holiday destination. If you like your men hot and the action steamy, mixed with a heavy dose of humour then the Eternal series will find a space in your ‘must read again’ collection.

"every time their paths crossed, it was like a spark ignited between them, but not the pleasant kind. they bickered, argued and generally got under each other's skins." They say that there is a thin line between love and hate, but in reality Brin and Marcus's relationship is one of intense chemistry and dangerous attraction. His attempts to remain as far away from her only caused their meetings to be more explosive. But destiny is a hard path to avoid, and once he recognized that, the prophesy he was so concerned about become the one thing that brought him and Brin's future together.

Set in modern paranormal background, this book is filled with intense moment. Their missions feel dangerous that lead to adrenaline rushing actions, and romance sparking in the background. FMC and MMC have their beef, but their connection, hostility, assignments and close proximity lead them to some serious banter, and tell different story and revealing things they've been in denial all along. The balance between the world-building and romance doesnt overpower each other, they just run in a smooth and engaging pace. I have a good time reading the book.

Thank you for giving me the opportunity to read this in advance.

If chaos had a VIP lounge, K.G. Inglis would be running it with a martini in one hand and a sarcastic one-liner ready in the other — and Eternity Bites proves, yet again, that her wonderfully unhinged universe only gets sharper with every new installment.

Returning to the Eternal series feels less like opening a book and more like crashing a reunion where everyone is dangerously attractive, mildly unhinged, and absolutely incapable of staying out of trouble. Inglis has perfected the delicate art of expanding a world without letting it collapse under its own mythological weight — no small feat when your cast includes lycans, wyverns, hellhounds, druids, nephilims, vampires, angels and any other supernatural in between, and enough supernatural drama to fuel an entire streaming platform.

This time, the spotlight falls on Marcus, a brooding lycan with enough emotional baggage to qualify as carry-on and checked luggage, and Brin, a wyvern whose sharp edges — literal and metaphorical — make her the perfect match in a hate-to-love dance that crackles from the first encounter. Their chemistry walks that delicious line between exasperation and inevitability, set against the ever-smoldering conflict between the Guild and the Alliance. Think political intrigue… but with claws.

And then there’s the ensemble — because no Eternal book truly belongs to just one couple. Alaric and his ever-expanding circus of chaos hover gloriously at the heart of the story, weaving continuity through every chapter. Alex’s antics deserve their own warning label, Cujo and his hellhound pack steal scenes like furry agents of mayhem, and the women remain deliciously unimpressed by their overprotective mates — a dynamic that never stops being funny or oddly empowering. Meanwhile, Mrs. P anchors the madness with the calm energy of someone who has seen everything and refuses to be surprised ever again.

What makes Eternity Bites shine isn’t just the action — though there’s plenty of that — but Inglis’ uncanny ability to balance humor, heart, and a sprawling narrative that keeps growing without losing its soul. The pacing is relentless in the best way: blink, and someone’s fighting, flirting, or plotting something that will inevitably explode three chapters later.

By now, the Eternal series has settled into that rare category of comfort chaos — stories you know will make you laugh, gasp, and stay up far too late whispering “just one more chapter.” And honestly? If Inglis keeps adding bricks to this gloriously mismatched fictional empire, I’ll keep happily building a shrine of favorites right alongside it.

In short: witty, wild, and irresistibly entertaining — Eternity Bites doesn’t just live up to the series’ legacy; it sinks its teeth into it and grins.

Eternity Bites (Eternal Series Book 11) by K.G. Inglis proves that this series still has plenty of bite—pun fully intended.

This installment blends paranormal intrigue with sharp pacing and emotional depth, keeping the story lively and engaging even deep into the series. The characters remain complex and compelling, with relationships that feel earned through shared history, loyalty, and sacrifice. There’s a great balance of suspense, humor, and darker moments that keeps the pages turning.

What I really enjoyed was how the author continues to expand the world while honoring what longtime readers love about it. Even as part of a long-running series, this book feels purposeful and satisfying, delivering both action and meaningful character moments.

I’d recommend Eternity Bites to fans of paranormal romance who enjoy strong series continuity, well-developed characters, and stories that mix danger with heart. A strong, entertaining addition to the Eternal series.

I am absolutely hooked on this series of books. Dragons, angels, vampires etc and lots of fast paced action. The characters are great and the storyline is even better. There isn't a boring page in the book. Marcus has been trying to avoid the prophecy that is meant for him. I couldn't put the book down!!

Eternity Bites (Eternal Series Book 11) By: K.G. Inglis. Wow this story was fantastic. Marcus was saved by Brin many years ago. Although, Marcus acts like he despises her . In this story Brin is the chosen one to find the artifact that will change everything. It’s a phenomenal series . I enjoy mostly that in every book characters from previous books are always included. Loved it

Review based off a GoodReads giveaway. I am attracted to all fantasy, supernatural, dragons and this book does not disappoint. Immersed in the world of Fey, portal travel and adventure I found myself rooting for Brin and Marcus which kept me hooked till the very end. I was so engrossed on the story that I completely lost track of the real world.
