This book was really encouraging. Some of its points were basic; others were insightfully profound. I especially appreciated the last section talking about maintaining our identity in Christ in work and relationships. There were a lot of good statements about how our tendency to people-please and seek validation hinder our ability to understand and seek God’s view and affection for us.
The blog/essay style was nice, but in some ways, it kept the topics on the surface level where going deeper would have been even more encouraging.
