This is the third stand-alone, full-length novella in the Dream Lovers series. Each novella ranges from 70 to 225 pages. It is an adult paranormal romance series, which is not recommended reading for those under eighteen years of age. This series is written for adults who enjoy a fantasy love story with a little sugar and a generous amount of naughty spice.
The amorous Dream Lover Series is presented for those who enjoy the possibility of fantasy romance with otherworldly beings and believe in the magic of dreams.
Most of the Dream Lovers in this series are alpha males. Many of these romantic male beings are tough, dominant, uncompromising, and immensely macho. They can also be arrogant and accustomed to having their own way.
This novella follows a young woman who encounters a lost Civil War soldier while visiting an obscure antique shop. Cheryl Weldon visits the famous city of New Orleans looking for the "perfect" bed. She finds more than she bargained in a city steeped with mystery and magic when she purchases an antique four-poster brass bed.
It was amazing that she found the bed frame, because it was hidden in a back corner of the shop. When Cheryl saw the bed she became instantly attached to it and made it her purchase. The problem is that the ghost of the original owner of the bed was pretty attached to it as well…literally.
The spirit in this story is a young, blonde confederate soldier named Beaumont Raye Shaw. He’s sexy, ornery and seems to have adjusted to the twenty-first century without too many issues. Actually, he’s quite fond of modern women, especially their clothing. He finds it much more fascinating than the pounds of petticoats that the ladies of his era wore.
I hope you’ll enjoy our “spirit in the sack” and not feel the urge to scream "help there’s a ghost in my bed". I believe you’ll agree that some females would welcome a sweet, southern male with impeccable manners and charm, even if he’s a bit of a "bed hog" at times.
