Decent sorry stories, that can hold your attention.


I enjoyed it, although with short stories you never get enough back ground for the characters, they do provide enough to understand

It’s an interesting concept, twelve writers, each giving us a story about how life might be in the years after oil has become scarce. Each story gives us a different facet of this future, but all agree that the way of living will be significantly different from the way it is now. The book is interesting and fun to read if you take it as fiction rather than a serious forecast. On the other hand the stories give us a lot to contemplate if we accept that these twelve authors are showing us a glimpse of a possible (or probable) future.

Second Collection of After Oil Stories

This is a Collection of short stories of what the world might look like when Progress finally stops an and the oil runs out. Some are quite good, and a few are memorable.

The first collection was definitely stronger, so I'd recommend that one first, but there are some gems in here as well.
