Jack of All

Jack of All: LitRPG, Isekai, Survival Adventure

Rate this book
Keeper of the Refuge and friend to Helmrest. One to protect and the other to help. Easier said than done.

Jack’s group of misfits is starting to grow. They already had a dwarf and a ratling, so what’s an added satyr for flavor?
More importantly, Jack’s meddling in Helmrest’s leadership drew the attention of one of the higher powers, and it’s pretty hard to stay independent when a kingdom decides you’re looking ripe for the taking. But money is power and, luckily, Jack has a few friends eager to help out.
Adventurers make lots of money, right? Yeah, that’ll work.

Jack and Co. continue their adventures, setting their sights on increasingly lucrative targets. Yet things tend to spiral, and there’s a time limit before Helmrest gets invaded. Will they make it in time? Who knows, maybe the true power is the friends they make along the way.

Oh, and this is definitely all just about local powers playing land grab. Nothing about any reemergent races, ancient feuds, and mythical wars. No, sir. Pinkie promise.

This novel is a LitRPG adventure, following a young man who only wants to make the best out of what he’s got. It is set inside a world where your Class dictates who you are and your Levels dictate your progress. But it is no video game.

Just… Wow!

This book starts off as a good sequel about outcasts becoming adventurers to save the village. The majority of the book is them growing and becoming just that.
If I could rate the intensity of a book with one being a slice of life and ten being world ending implications. This book starts of as a 3 in intensity and stay around 4 for the most part. The las quarter of the book ramps up to 7 quickly with a finale of 9!
The characters are well written and complex. The ending moved me.
I recommend reading this!

Outstanding

I didn't think it could get better but it did. Such a good story. Haven't had a good night sleep in days and its been such a long time since that has happened.

Worth the time for sure.

Lost 2 stars for NOT writing a Recap.

I think every reader needs to start doing this to force authors to write a quick Recap chapter, which readers can skip if they remember, and those who don't won't stop reading the series.

Typos but still good

Some typos, but over all a really good story.

Made me laugh, Made me cry.

Poor jack. Just can't win for losing.
