Amber Reid built her clothing brand from scratch, and at twenty-seven, ambition is her first love. She doesn’t have time for distractions—especially not the infuriatingly hot man now working under her.
David Hale is thirty-six, experienced, and far too charming for her own good. He’s supposed to be her employee. Instead, he’s become her obsession.
Their chemistry simmers through banter, playful arguments, and stolen glances that last too long. But when the tension finally breaks, it isn’t sweet. It’s filthy. Possessive. Explosive enough to burn down every rule Amber thought she lived by.
She’s the boss. He’s temptation. And once he has her, he’s never letting go.

Wow, just wow. Everything aside, the🌶️ is so good. Now EVERYTHING: Our FMC runs a brand of her own, which is why I picked up this book and I must say, the author did justice to the role. The chemistry between the couple is adorable, the small fights, the push and pull, the banter, the SPICE, the plot, this book has it all. But, I must say if I ever re-read this book, it'll be for 🌶️.
Spice and Romance readers, you need, need, NEED to read this book! I genuinely believe you’ll love it. If I could give it 10,000 stars I would. It’s the BEST Spice/Romance book I’ve ever read. The Romance reminds me of one of my favorite books, Good girls stay quiet by Jo Cassidy. The slice reminds me of Final Goodbye by Nicole Kennedy. It’s perfect!!. It’s just the right amount of both Spice and Romance.
The MCs were brilliantly written with a female grumpy - male sunshine trope. I devoured it greedily. 🤭 The spice and slow burn were perfect, not too much, not too little.
