So boom…..I didn’t like this at all. I basically skimmed the entire book. There was so much unnecessary drama that made absolutely no sense. I read the first book and thought it was okay but now looking back it didn’t make much sense either. The book title says arranged marriage and for some reason it took 2 entire books to get there. Everyone is going to jail for whatever reason. Wolf was placed into a halfway house after his white babymomma gave false claims of him kidnapping his own child. Mind you the chick didn’t show to court and the case was dropped but somehow when he’s released from jail he’s released to a half way house. Ummm okay. Then Annika is jail upset thinking that wolf left her high and dry but whole time he’s in himself. Imagine this NO ONE tells this girl that the reason wolf isn’t around is because he’s in jail and NOT because he doesn’t care. Not even the sister who is a so- called friend of hers. The same “friend” who goes on to tell her to call his phone and tell him her true feelings while knowing the man is in JAIL and that’s why he isn’t answering his phone or around. Then even worst Wolf calls her from jail and HE NEVER addresses the fact that he’s in JAIL! It’s like okay we’re creating stupid drama to drag this out. So then the white BM who claims Wolf kidnapped his daughter leaves her daughter on Annika’s doorstep and signs over guardianship to Annika because said baby momma is going to JAIL. Mind the building catches on fire and the baby is almost BURNED TO DEATH. :/ But then apparently Annika can’t keep the baby because she doesn’t have blood relation to said child and is deemed unfit because well her apartment caused the fire and Wolf has a record so they deem him unstable. So the ONLY way they can keep Cheekie is they get married. WE ARE FINALLY at the arranged marriage portion of the book. Lmao Then don’t get me started on the secondary story with Cerese and Quik who are Annika’s friend and Wolf’s cousin yeah the one who was in jail with him but he got released to a half way house as well. Cerese gets arrested for kidnapping Quik’s grandmother, but get this she wasn’t kidnapping her she simply took her to the doctor because the lady was clearly sick and in her home alone. But she’s placed in JAIL as well! You see the theme here? Lmaoo okay. She’s goes to court and gets released blah blah, but here’s the kicker the first time Cerese meets Quik is at a bar where he “pretends kidnap” her and take her to a mansion have sex with her where Cerese’s sugar daddy hides in the closet and gets off to it. Yeah I’m sorry this book is ridiculous and all over the place. It feels like the author is throwing out whatever she thinks will stick. I don’t think I’m even gonna bother with the next book in the series. And despite the horrible storylines there were so many grammatical errors. Highly disappointed.

Good story

The two books were good and I can't wait for the next one! Sometimes, I felt the plot slowed down, which affected its momentum, but overall, it was well written.
There was a plot point that never got resolved after the event, so stop reading now if you haven't already read the books.
***SPOILER ALERT***
When Annika is told that the apartment fire originated from her apartment and that her insurance would likely not pay for the damages, nor her neighbors' damages, nothing ever came of it. I was thinking that her ex and Janis/Jane may have purposely set it, but nothing more was said about it after the fire chief gave her the bad news.
Perhaps it will be resolved in book 3...

Irritating with the FMC & MMC!

I know it's said that love makes things happen and often times makes you a little blind, but these two are just irritatingly STUPID to the things and situations that could've been avoided beforehand if only they'd dealt with them in the moment instead of constantly thinking everyone has the same mindset and hearts as them. Both ignorantly stubborn and blind to manipulative behavior or just DUMB, IDK. Now, ABW done for her behind in some real mess, that her friend not friend that took her to this location will undoubtedly once again probably blame her for.

Nooo what are we going to do they just got married and now we have to get the hospital and I hope she’s pregnant but the baby is still cooking boy they have some hateful people in this world I think joe set her apartment on fire that’s why they didn’t stay there and why are they keep trying to take that baby big perm needs to let go I can’t wait to see what happens next see you soon

From Bliss to Chaos

How can such a beautiful day end so traumatic. I really hope Annika is ok. She finally got her a Wild and now her Wild could possibly lose her or something even more precious. Wolf is gonna go crazy. He is doing so good and they keep trying to bring him out into beast mode. I got three suspects of who's behind the car which I kinda can't blame Jane cause I think she locked up but it's still three suspects for me. 💚💚

This book right here was great…I loved how Annika and Wolf finally got it together whether it was supposed to be an arranged marriage for the betterment of Cheekie and Wolf’s possibly being released from Harbor House early…That’s doesn’t even matter they love each other…Now Wolf is going to act an complete nut after he finds out what happened to his wife!!! I’m here for the shenanigans

That ending was so sad. I know part three is about to be just as crazy. I wish she just had went to the room instead of stopping. Wolf gone lose it….i wanted this part to be more about Wolf but I felt like it turned into Quik story. That was okay but I wanted to finish up Wolf story.

Book 3?

OK… Arranged marriage is a stretch and I do mean stretch. Don’t give me wrong, the storyline was great… But this isn’t your typical “arrange marriage” story. TBH he was gonna marry her anyway. I’ll give this one 4 stars, because the cliffhanger had me itching for the next book.

Wow! Loving the storyline. The second chance love story! Super excited that Wolf and Annika found their love mate. And hoping that Quik and Cerease can get their shot at it too. Another great page turner from one of my favorite authors. I definitely enjoyed all of the twists and turns and the love story between Annika and Wolf. Man that cliffhanger made me want to throw my kindle. I can’t wait til you release part 3.

Great Story Line

Wife of Wolf is a very realistic story with so many twists and turns that it keeps you on your toes. With all that they've been through it was good to see that they've finally made it to the altar. Excited to find out what happens next

Annika and Wolfe both finally got on the same page after both being locked up her from fighting Big Perm and him from Jane. Then him looking for Chicky and finally finding her with Annika then her apartment building catching on fire. Lawd then his cousin Quick is a fool. They finally got married and now we don’t know if she is going to live or die. It’s so many snakes at this point it could be anyone that drove into that building because she is getting death threats. Poor Annika. I can’t wait to read part 3 cause I know things are going to get crazy. Great read.
