Charlotte never expected a concert to change her forever. Nearing thirty and caught in the rhythm of a life that feels too small, she takes a chance on herself and travels to Seoul to see the group that carried her through her hardest nights. She thinks it will be one extraordinary memory to keep, a reminder of the music that helped her breathe again. What she does not expect is Jihoon, the steady leader of 1HART, noticing her in a crowd of thousands.
One glance becomes a thread that begins to weave between them. Messages slip into the quiet hours, phone calls turn the night soft, and a closeness grows that feels both fragile and inevitable. Their worlds could not be further apart, yet something between them refuses to let go.
Between the distance, the silence, and the starlight, something impossible begins to take shape.
I don't know where to begin with reviewing Moonlight by Kiki Benson. And to say I loved it is an understatement.
I have never seen so much of myself in a character before, but as I read I connected so deeply with Charlotte that I was tearing up. Often. I don't usually relate so heavily to characters but reading this, many moments felt like the author reached out and whispered, 'I see you.' 💙 This is a comforting, beautifully written story, heavy on the feelings - in the best way. I cried on multiple occasions and that is hard to pull out of me as a reader. I loved every minute. I cursed the author from across the globe lovingly and respectfully for making these characters leave such a mark on my heart. But I'm thankful to have been able to read an early copy. I am so excited to see what this author will write next! 💙
