Wicked Brew: Book 1

Rate this book
The Wicked Brew series of books is a collection of short stories, flash fiction, and poems designed to spook, thrill, and chill. Scattered throughout many of the stories are hidden gems, or Easter eggs, from various other stories like the Wickerface series, the Hallucination House series, and individual stories within the Wicked Brew series. What you are entering is a universe of suspense, terror, mystery, and violence.
I will give you fair warning; some of the stories are not for the faint of heart. Some of the violence is quite graphic.
In Lucid, we have a man suffering the nightmares of sleep paralysis. Have you ever felt that someone was sitting at the end of your bed while you were sleeping, while you were unable to move and make yourself wake up?
The Waiting Room is a story about anxiety, especially considering medical situations and being stuck in a stuffy lobby with a bunch of rude, smelly, inconsiderate strangers. Don’t bite your nails off reading this one. What is true? What isn’t?
A Walk in the Park is a poem that might make you want to avoid parks for a while.
Dent was one of my beta readers’ favorites. It’s short and sweet and a cracking good read.
Helen’s House is something to see. Sometimes in life we feel more comfortable than we should, right up to the minute when it’s too late.
Feed the Witch is a poem of keys that apply to the Witch’s Highway, a network accessible via a room in a tower at Hallucination House.
Quit Clowning Around is a flash fiction tale about a boy who’s scared.
In Meat the Chef you’ll find yourself in the middle of an ongoing disaster. The question is, who is going to make it out alive?
In Everybody Eats, just try to stay off the menu.
Artist is inside the mind of Benny, a deranged serial killer from the story Mud, which you’ll find in Wicked Brew Book 2. This one actually bothers me every time I reread it. Have fun.
Mary Mulberry is a short poem. It is a key to unlock something unnaturally evil in the Wickerface series book Mannequin Maker.
Robert’s Fine Feathered Friends is a lesson learned the hard way. Don’t be rude to Robert, or you’ll find out for yourself.
Thank you for your interest in my wild stories.
Enjoy.
