I found this book to be rather intriguing you have two minds and two beating hearts trapped in one body, Their past and childhood were not the best at least the first few years. They were born over seas to a mother addicted to drugs. They lived in and orphanage that was not the best place to be for someone like them, Then they were saved rescued by an american couple. While one of the twins is telling the story you can not help but wonder what is the other one thinking .How can on refuse when the others will do do something is so powerful its not like they can go the opposite direction. Being a conjoined twin has to be impossible, Especially when they are so opposite in thoughts and wants. This books was incredible i loved every second of it fromt he beginning to end. It kept me thinking guessing and intrigued HOwever despite their limitations they have not let that make them fail, they have become quite successful in adulthood,

I loved this book! What would you do if you were falling in love, and you have an evil twin sister? Now what would you do if your evil twin was attached to you, and wanted what you had? This was my bedtime reading book, and it was hard to put it down to go to sleep. Can hardly wait to read the second book.

Scarlett and Jade Jennings have just published their New York Times bestseller entitled My Sister’s Hands. Sebastian seems to have it all together. But his life is a facade. Yet aside of their differences, Scarlett and Sebastian desire to move on with their lives, which indeed earmarks them as dynamic characters. Kobasic’s meticulous attention to character development includes small but very crucial supporting cast members, such as the patient wisdom of Leon, Sebastian’s assistant, and the quirky but solid advice of Esperança, Sebastian’s aunt. Of course, this being the first book in Kobasic’s Untapped Series, the antagonists are just beginning to show up. While Sebastian’s (supposed aunt) Ebony (aka Trigger) is high on the chart of villains, Kobasic’s name-dropping indicates that forthcoming characters will go beyond Ebony’s malevolence.
Closing with a cliffhanger, Kobasic’s absolutely fascinating plot slowly builds good vs evil while interweaved in Scarlett and Sebastian’s unrequited relationship. This being one of those books that you look at the cover and think, I am not sure if I can take another teenage novel series about unrealistic things and unrealistic circumstances, I was not expecting to really get caught up in the book, but just to read it and move on. But I found myself intrigued from about page 1. I was drawn into the background of the orphanage, then into the plight of conjoined twins. Told from the plight of one of the twins, I was finding myself trying to guess the other sisters take on the situations and got caught up in the love story unfolding. As it is an age told struggle of good and evil, it is told in a very modern way with some black magic style drama situations, but the real story to me was the struggle of sisters who not only grow up together who are bound in a way others may never know. You will be drawn to the pages and find yourself staying up to finish the book. As it only took me a day and a half to finish the book since I was addicted to the book, I am now anxiously awaiting the next ...

From the moment I started reading Vanishing Twin I was hooked, it was very hard for me to put it down, I would literally read myself to sleep because I couldn't bring myself to put it down and when I woke it was the first thing I seen (my kindle) just waiting on me to pick it back up to finish it. Captivating from the get go! I really wasn't sure what to expect just by reading the title and wasn't sure that I really wanted to read it, but I am so happy that I did. It begins by introducing you to all the characters and goes into detail, just enough, to let you know some background information about each one. After you get past this the story really takes you on a road trip through all the twists and turns that keep you hooked until the end. Well worth the time to read and get sucked into the lives of Scarlett and Jade, you'll have to read it to find out how it ends ;)

I just want to say that I'm not much of a book reader. When I seen the cover of this book I didn't think it was going to be interesting enough to keep my attention. I started reading about Scarlett and Jade and their journey through life and what they went through and what all they have accomplished and had to overcome and I just needed to keep reading. Once Sabastian came into the picture it got even more interesting. Reading how he fell in love with Scarlett despite Jade sharing all their dates and every moment was amazing. I am only at chapter Thirty-one and I am eager to finish reading this book to see how it all works out in the end. I will definitely recommend this book to a few of my friends who love to read. I received the opportunity to review this book for free in exchange for my honest and unbiased review. I'm glad I took that opportunity be caused it was intraduced to a book I never would have picked out on my own and it is an excellent story.

This story is definitely different than the kind I normally read. Definitely a good twist on good versus evil. Its a story of conjoined twins, in which one of the sisters falls in love with a renowned magician Sebastian. The story tells of the sisters thoughts, feelings and attempts at what she would consider a normal life, while being bound to her sister. Of course the sisters have their demons they have to face day to day, while unknowing to them Sebastian has his own as well, just more in a physical sense. As the story unfolds you realize that Sebastian is not only helping the sisters come to terms with their life and situation, that they are also helping him to find the light in the darkness. The ending leaves you wanting for more, and I can't wait to read the sequel, Twin Flames. I was lucky enough to receive this product during a promotion for my honest and unbiased review.

I love the Las Vegas back drop for good versus evil, steamy love, and wonderful colorful characters. My favorite is the description of the show and chaos in the Sabastion's illusionist show and after party in the Vortex! This over the top showmanship and decadence, is truly Vegas and perfect placement of a good vs. evil showdown. I felt as if I could drive down the strip and see the Vortex and the playbills for the show. I may be just a little afraid to step inside the Vortex but if I did I would know I would be in for an experience to remember. Beyond all this Scarlett and Jade conjoined twins vie for the affections of Sebastion as his entourage of mysterious and alluring helpers circle around him acting out a play of history and destiny simultaneously. A good read.

I really wasn't sure that I was going to like this book, mostly because I'm not really a romance novel reader. It turned out to be quite a bit more than I bargained for. Honestly, I loved Scarlett, and the fact that she hated being attached to her sister so much, while Jade seemed to love being attached to Scarlett. I feel like they really hadn't ever discussed how they felt being attached to one another, even while writing the book that they were known for. I also love Sebastian, mostly because he seems so mysterious at first. The book honestly starts out a bit slower than I would have liked, but once I reached chapter three, I was hooked.

This book gives a whole new twist to good verses evil. This really is a story like no other. It starts out seeming like it might be a love story tale of lusting after a mysterious bad boy, employed as an illusionist, that quickly transforms into a modernized black magic trip down memory lane . The characters are unique and unrelenting and not soon to be forgotten. The vivid descriptions had me lost in a world I could never have fathomed, and eventually, one I didn’t want to leave.I received this free for my honest and unbiased review, This is unlike any book you have ever read.

I really, really liked this book. It sucked me in from the very beginning and I thoroughly enjoyed reading it. It has everything you could want: an interesting premise, intriguing and developed characters with plenty of secrets, an interesting storyline that grows creepier and darker as you read. And perhaps the best part of all: there's more than one book.
First off, I really love where the story is set. It's set in Las Vegas, Nevada which is not a very common setting for an every day contemporary romance (besides the let's-go-to-Vegas-to-get-married type of romance). The author actually uses street names and places in the city which lends a realistic air to the book. I also feel it's a perfect setting for Scarlett and Jade with where they are in their lives with their book writing, inspirational speaking, etc.
I loved the characters. They were so interesting and well-developed. Because it's written in third person, you really get to know the characters and get to know what's happening before other characters in the book do. I loved how Scarlett was down-to-earth even though she's used to people liking her better than Jade and that she tries to be understanding of her sister. Scarlett is a very big person and I really enjoyed getting to know her. Jade certainly is the more irritating of the sisters but some of her problems and reactions to situations are definitely things I can see myself doing so I didn't dislike her as much as probably a normal reader. And Sebastian. Oh my, Sebastian Cole. He's interesting and mysterious and the kind of dark that draws you in. I loved as more of his past was revealed and I got to see things like where and how he grew up and how he came to be the headline of a hotel and casino built around him. From reading about his pet cat Boots to finding out who his family really is, I was completely drawn in to learning about him and couldn't put the book down.
The plotline ran okay. Not really fast-paced but an ordinary, realistic pace of how our lives actually are. Although the characters and circumstances are unordinary, their actions and characterizations were very realistic and relatable. The story unfolds organically and the ending truly throws you for a loop. What starts out as a contemporary romance about unusual characters turns into something more sinister and much more interesting while maintaining the sweetness of the romance. I truly enjoyed it!

I was cautioned by Tanja - not to add my rating or review because I'm her publisher/investor and I'm biased. Hell, I wouldn't have invested if I didn't believe in her. Yes, the cover may throw some readers off. This is not some cheesy paranormal romance and the love story develops naturally. Her plot and character development techniques have been praised by both critics and avid readers. Nothing that Tanja Kobasic writes is unoriginal. Don't take my word for it - read Kirkus and BlueInk's reviews, along with highly respected fantasy genre critic for over 20 years, Paul Goat Allen, who added The Untapped Series as his "top ten must reads." This is not just a love story - it's a Game of Thrones, kind of read - with angels gone rogue, all vying for power and using Sebastian Cole's weakness against him. She used facts to back her fiction, and knows her history. The devil isn't funny and angels don't crack open beers.
This young lady was writing screenplays long before she began writing books. She applied her script writing skills and created a storyboard, which ballooned into what looked like a hotel site where Sebastian Cole performs. It was so detailed and vivid, so she went a little further, and now the site is live for those of you who are curious as to what I'm talking about. Twin Flames is the second book in Tanja Kobasic's Untapped Series. Scarlett and Jade Jennings are conjoined twins who were adopted from an East European orphanage at the age of three. They've since co-authored a book and have become motivational speakers. I highly suggest reading the first book in the series, and move on to this one. You won't be disappointed.
A very good read from my point of view. Light vs. Dark and Good vs. Evil! The book is a good one that kept me enthralled through each chapter. A man arrives on the scene filled with evil, and demonic character. One sister falls for him, and the other wants no part of him. Ancient magic plays it's role in the captivating read. A satanic group plays it's hand. The sisters conjoined together from birth now wish to be no part of each other. There are a few sexual scenes in this book, but nothing I can't handle. Urban fantasy at it's best. Will one sister turn to the dark side in order to be free from the other? No spoiler here, you must read the book. This book truly has caught me off guard. The writing is amazing and I feel the author has put me into this unique situation of being a twin joined in such a way they have their own upper bodies but share the same lower body. I don't want to give away too much of the plot - it's just not fair to ;)
The book transports me into this journey and this world that is so fantastical yet grounded in the here and now. I feel as if it could happen and is happening. The words the author uses are very descriptive to allow this to happen.
It's a good vs evil, a spiritual battle and a twist on human nature (both physical and psychological) book all rolled into one. I highly encourage you to give it a try. The author was able to capture my attention from the first chapter and keep me turning pages.
If you are looking for something different, something that hasn't been done a thousand times and you enjoy joining the author in a journey with the characters they have created - give this book a chance - I don't think you'll regret it.
A sequel has already been released! I'm looking forward to seeing where this story goes next!

This book addresses subjects that many people have never even thought of, but as you're reading it, you realize you are curious! The first question being, how do conjoined twins live as one? After that, how do they love? This book delves into not only those questions, but it gives the reader a look into the daily life of the twins as well. When one falls in love with the beautiful, dark Sebastian, how will they build their love with the other twin (literally) attached at the hip? It explores real life issues like when one twin wants to go out, and the other wants to stay in. Both Jade and Scarlett each control one leg. they have to always work together!!
Add to that, Sebastian finding out about his demonic past, and trying not to hurt Scarlett in the process, yet trying to keep Jade pacified and you get explosive fights, huge disagreements, and finally, working together once again.
Never would I have thought to read a book like this, but once I did, I couldn't put it down! The story is much more close to home then I would have thought, and I wished the book could have gone on longer. I am looking forward to reading the next book in the series!
Add to that, Sebastian finding out about his demonic past, and trying not to hurt Scarlett in the process, yet trying to keep Jade pacified and you get explosive fights, huge disagreements, and finally, working together once again.

WOW!! Meet Jade and Scarlett, conjoined twins orphaned in Bulgaria adopted by a US family. The twins face tons of challenges while growing up, I mean they have 2 legs one waist 2 torsos and 3 arms and 2 heads, what more could you expect from all of that. Are they one person or 2? Meet Sabastian Mysteriously dark and charming all rolled into one. Scarlett seems to get the wish she never thought she ever had when her and Sabastian start Dating. WOW I mest say I never thought this book would keep me on the edge of my seat with all the plot twists. It is certainly not your everyday sappy Love story. I honestly do not know what to say without giving to much away. This author Tanja Kobasic really gets in your head with her writing, you can see everything like you are there as well. Amazing job keeping the plot twisting and pulling it off with a good wrap up Leaving great room for the next novel in the series. I for one can not wait to see what happens Next. Right now I am on chapter 25 and I have to say this book is turning out to be great! These sisters, Scarlett and Jade, have a real relationship as sisters and it is a love and hate relationship but I have to say the real friendship and sisterhood is between Scarlett and Ivy. Ivy just completes her. The story in my opinion is really made because of the relationship between Scarlett and Ivy and between Scarlett and Sebastian. I also want to point out that this author does an amazing job on details and because of the little things here and there it is really easy to see what the author sees. It is easy to see the reaction on Scarlett's face and to picture the places and events because of her writing style. Like for example the Vortex, I could see the details, the room, the levels because of the detail the author put into this book. Overall I have to say that I am loving this book, this author and I can not wait to dive deep into any of her other books.

Riveting, thought provoking and mesmerizing. This novel is simply a fantastic read, so much so, that it becomes addicting and very hard to put down. Its an account of one of two conjoined twins, her thoughts and feelings and attempting to live a life where she is eternally bound to her sister. She finds love in an unpredictable person, who has his own demons he is having to battle, only his demons are more of the physical shape. While he is showing her how to be an independent person despite never having actual freedom, she is showing him that there is always hope even in the most despairing times.
I can not wait to get the sequel, Twin Flames, and read this book as well. It's simply a great read.

Good versus evil - a classic and enticing story presented in a very unique and interesting way. This story has everything you expect in a well written novel filled with fantasy and romance. Love story - check; Drama and twists and turns - check; Magic (white and dark) - check. I was hooked from the start while reading the sisters background at the orphanage.
The characters are well developed and the story line keeps you riveted and guessing until the very end. I had a hard time putting this book down once I started to read it. I enjoy romance and mystery and this author delivers it all and more. The sequel, Twin Flames, will be at the top of my reading list as I can't wait to see what this author has in store for the sisters.

I finished this book last week and I’m still not sure what I think about it. I won’t recap the cover jacket description, but just give you my impressions. The plot manages to be both complex (very interesting embodiment of good vs. evil) and simple (a major theme pervasive in literature). But, it was very slow moving. However, the details in many of the scenes were absolutely captivating. There are a lot of contrasts throughout the book. Even though the main conflict wasn’t introduced until about halfway through the book, I did get pulled into the story, and the characters. I am eager to find out what happens next!

I found this book to be very well written and really interesting. The author Tanja Kobasic took me on a journey that drew me right into the story. At first you think you are going to be reading about a love story and the plight of conjoined twins but then the story takes some twists which will keep you reading. I don't want to give the story away so I don't to say too much. A very different approach to good vs evil or light vs dark. I am the type of book reader where I don't want the story to end I want to know what will happen after the "story" to the characters. So I am glad that this book is the first book in the series.

I used to love reading and would spend all of my time with my nose in a book, then along came Facebook, candy crush, kids and other distractions that let the day slip away without noticing.
This was the story that made me start back reading.
Within the first 10 pages or so i was hooked, and already thinking i hope there is a sequel or other books by her.
She really has a way with words!
I was drawn into the story and everything around me started to fade away .
Scarlett and Sebastian’s magnetism hooked me, and kept me coming back for more.

I made the mistake of reading the second one before this one. so I already knew what was going to happen in the future, but this book did fill in most of my questions, and developed the characters more. I really love the concept and the story. I see now the changes in Jade and when they happened. I understand the relationship between the sisters and Sebastion as well, and I have a much better idea of Sebastion's life. Great story! Love the conjoined twins and their struggles before and after Jade changed. Great series!

I loved the fast paced, rich prose, the unique story line and the fabulous descriptions.

This was an interesting book that has left me wondering and intrigued for the next book. I found some parts of the book confusing and hard to follow, especially the extended conversations with multiple participants. I enjoyed the plot of the book, but I needed a bit more background or introduction to the characters, I was lost for most of the book.
