Stone
She’s too young. Too innocent. Too tempting.
I’m too jaded and too busy trying to keep my focus on my business and pursuing my revenge against the people who took the two people I cared most about away from me. I’m immersed in death and destruction, and both follow me right to the front door of the woman that I have claimed as my own. When they dare to take what belongs to me, there is hell to pay because Camryn is mine.

Camryn

He’s too cruel. Too harsh. Too tempting.
I need to focus on my art and prove to my father that I didn’t make a mistake walking away from medical school and that I can stand on my own two feet. But late nights in my studio, when he poses for me and allows me to put all his dark, dangerous energy on the canvas, lead us down a delicious road that I can’t resist riding. Little do I know, my journey with this secretive man could be deadly.

Stone is very much the unhinged MMC that will burn the world for his woman. There is so much to him, and the way Author K. Terry builds his character shows readers why he goes as far as he does for his family and those close to him. The story is quite dark, dealing with many themes that may not be for everyone.

Stone’s obsession with Camryn feeds his darkness, and this ramps up the story in a way that is adrenaline-inducing, with all the spice scenes. But K. Terry doesn’t lose sight of the main plot, which had a few twists I didn’t see coming. The author did a good job of developing Stone’s character throughout the story. There were moments when, despite the violent actions he inflicted on others, his softness toward Camryn was also shown. And there were many violent actions. The story is gory, and I loved how detailed K. Terry got.

Stone appears to set forth the Legion Lords series. I hope to see more, as several interesting characters were introduced in this story that I would like to read more about.

Thank you to Author K. Terry and Pages of Cedar for the gifted e-copy. I am leaving this review voluntarily.

Please note, I really wanted to give this book four stars. It’s still a good read, and I like the storyline. My three-star rating could easily be your five stars, so don’t let this discourage you.

Do I love Stone, an entirely unhinged MMC? Yes, absolutely. The author did her homework on certain aspects of this book, and it shows. It’s what dark romance should be, and honestly, she didn’t overlook the darker parts of the story, which I appreciate.

My concern is that there is some repetition within the book, not a lot, but I did notice it. Plus, a few small plot holes. A good editor would have been helpful, as my concern was quite noticeable to me.

I am 100% down bad for a man that has tattoos, is apart of motorcycle club & has a few piercings in all the right places 😉 iykyk..

STONE is Absolutely delicious and every woman deserves to have a man that has a little Stone in his make up. This man is the definition of a kinky, UNHINGED MMC & I AM HERE FOR IT. period.

If you are looking for a brothers bestfriend, motorcycle club romance, mixed with some dark fetishes & an age gap.. please allow me to introduce you to STONE!

Get this in your hands, you will thank us later!

Stone should have been scared when his best friend, Onyx, told him his uncle, the VP of the Legion Lords, was on his way to his house. But his only concern was his sister and how they were going to hide the body.

Stone was sixteen years old when he walked in on his mother's boyfriend sexually assaulting his twelve-year-old sister. That was the day he killed his first man.

She was ten when Camryn's father sent her away to boarding school. He blamed her for her mother's death from a brain aneurysm a few days after she was born.

Stone was walking across Jace Palker's back lawn when he first saw her. She was on a pool lounger looking like a Queen. But she was way out of his league. And not just because she was Jace's younger sister.

I loved this book! It is very well written and the characters are fully developed and relatable. Stone should be focused on revenge, but Camryn has become his obsession. Watching her from the shadows. But he isn't the only one obsessed and Camryn's art shows it. She knows he's dangerous, but she can't stay away.

This dark, age-gap, MC romance is action-packed and full of danger. If you love steamy-hot dark MC romance with a morally gray MMC with stalker tendencies, you will love this book! Highly recommend.

ARC REVIEW
Guys this book was SO GOOOD!!! The storyline??? AMAZING! The spice? Phenomenal! All the side characters?? LOVEEEE!! This story was so enthralling from start to finished and I ate it up! This was my first story from this author and I can’t wait to read more of her work!! The only reason I rated it 3 stars was due to the errors within the book and some plot holes that did unfortunately take away from the story (I received an early copy tho so this could be different). I loved this book overall, but the errors were sadly something that didn’t go unnoticed along with the plot holes throughout. Besides these things I absolutley loved stone and cam’s story! I mean the tension from their first meeting was sooo hot and I literally loved how he couldn’t stay away from her! I mean this man had me literally panting and wanting to find my own man to chase me through the forest! I absolutely NEED to learn more about the side characters bc that ending?????? HAD ME DYING AND NEEDING MORE! Overall this was a great read and I can’t wait to read more from this author!

They say monsters don’t fall in love. But I’ve got her scent in my lungs and blood on my hands.

STONE.. Oh Stone. He is your morally grey unhinged MMC who will have you begging for more without you even knowing. He will burn the world down just for you. He is utterly obsessed with Camryn, even when he knows he should stay away. He can’t. Their pull towards each other is too strong.

K. Terry had me wanting more. The plot is thick and will have you twisting and turning with all the events that unfold.

I can’t wait to read more of the Legion Lords Series!

WOW!!! What a fantastic story.

It was deliciously dark on multiple levels. I loved that Camryn was able to bring out emotions and feelings in Stone. It was a hard fought HEA. Stone had some….okay a lot of depravity in him. K. Terry does a wonderful job of building up his levels of obsession with Camryn.

Make sure to check those tw before diving in as this does have truly dark elements.

I would recommend this to a friend!

Favourite quotes

“I wish he were bare-chested so I could see if he has a sex pack or not, fuck, I mentally shake my brain, I mean, a six-pack.”

“I’m obsessed with Camryn Park, and the need to kill anything and everything that dares to hurt her is becoming a goal I never thought I’d have.”

Let me start off by telling you this book is thick. It was a days read for me and I read fast.

The way the story starts out had me in and out while I was figuring things out. Now I kept going because there were moments early on where I needed to see where things went .

Stone is interesting to say the least and there’s some of you can’t have her but didn’t work that way did it?!

Fast forward.. because I’m not about to sit here and give you cliffs notes version. It’s good, there’s fast pace moments then slow moments. But TO ME it was worth it.

Now, that ending?! I feel like there’s more but I could be wrong. All in all go check it out!

Camryn and stone - like night and Day , she’s young , innocent and solely focused on her studies and her future , he’s cruel , harsh and jaded. But oh man when they age together, watch out because the sparks start to fly . I have to say I was not prepared for the emotional journey I was just taken on . The intrigue and suspense, the steam , the darkness and the danger . Morally Grey and Unhinged MMC’s , Age Gap , Forbidden, Piercings and Kinks , Brothers Friend , complexities, obstacles, family , friendships and so much more . Any dark romance lover absolutely has to read this book , it’s everything you’ll ever want and need

The book just had no substance.

That’s fine in some romances (novellas) but not at 745 pages. It’s ludicrous. It was redundant, with zero real emotional buildup. I wanted emotional eroticism, the slow burn was insane. In the sense that it only followed the heroine wanting the dih so desperately.

The middle-aged hero acted ridiculously juvenile, and the heroine lacked a sense of autonomy.

Great tropes, poorly executed.

No I didn’t hate reading it. I just came to a certain point where I stopped caring to carry on.

Stone and Camryn are so HOT together. They are both stubborn, intense and strong willed. This entire book is intense and hard to handle at times. While at its heart it’s a love story there are some incredibly hard situations between the MCs as well as side characters. Yes it was hard to read at times but the end was worth it. Need more of Kami, Jacinda, Onyx and Riggs.

First by this author Stone is dark, possessive and obsessed with Camryn. And when she is taken his vengeance is swift, dark and consuming in more ways than one. She doesnt shy away from his details of what he did either. Despite the guilt he felt because of what she endured and he avoided her but she wasnt having it. She made him face her and she claimed him as well him claim her. Check the triggers but it is was a long read but good.

🖤🖤BOOK REVIEW🖤🖤

Stone: The Precursor is the first book of the Legion Lords Series by Author K. Terry. This is the first book that I have read by this author, and it will not be the last.

Stone (MMC) is obsessed, unhinged, and protective of those he loves especially his family and Camryn (MFC). Stone is complex, part of a motorcycle club, and has piercings in the right places, plus his fever pitched concern for Camryn feeds his actions. Their chemistry, and attraction for each other is steamy and 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️.

Camryn brings out another side of Stone but do not get it twisted, he is violent at times and there are a ton of twists and turns in this story. I love how Stone’s character develops throughout the book. Please check the triggers list from the author.

I enjoyed reading this author for the first time and looking forward to the next book in this series.

The first book in a series, and it’s also the first book for me by this author. Dark & intense, Stone will do any & everything for Camryn, his love, his obsession, his world. It’s one heckuva ride

It's long. But understand why. It's also very heavy. Lots of dark themes and gore-but the triggers told me. I like that the author developed the characters. There was a lot of internal thoughts- but I like that. Lots of spice! I like that. The romance was intense too. Stone is very dark/morally gray. I also liked the plot twists. My only complaint is that I felt like some chapters were not needed.

Okay, so this book is THICKKKK. It's over 700 pages. It was daunting because I don't usually read books that long, but I support Indie authors and my friend told me to check it out.

Stone is very much a dark romance guy. I mean like he does some crazy stuff that is wayyyyy out there. A lot happened to him when he was a kid and the issues with his family are heartbreaking. I understood why he was the way he was.

Camryn is spunky. She is very lost emotionally at the beginning with family pressure, but she comes into her own. And I really like that.

The push and pull between these two are crazy. There is so much angst because Camryn is his friend's sister. She calls him a bastard and he calls her a brat! 🤭 The forest scene was CRAZY! Spicy and dangerous!

Stone is down bad for Camryn. Definitely obsessed and the gift he sends her? Like...wow.

It has a ton of twists and turns and I ended up falling for Stone and Camryn. He is a good guy in his own way and she learns not to take his crap.

Over all a great book. Very long, but I couldn't stop reading once I started. K. Terry is very detailed oriented and I liked how she built up their relationship.

--Friend's sister
